This is my experience,
I got into Forex in 2019, omo I saw money been made from just clicking a button and I decided there and then I must conquer Forex

Boy was I wrong, straight to live trading, didn't even know what demo acct was, deposited my first $100 grew it to $120 withdrew all my money to confirm it was real and brokers were not playing or joking with me,, when I held that $20 profit, I knew Ive found a skill worth learning, watched all the YouTube videos, developed strategies, but the good thing was that I hardly blow accounts, once my money gets half of what I deposit I withdraw

Losses back to back, till I started feeling like I was unlucky in the business, I would backtest on demo, but when I go live, I will lose money

At some point when I click buy, that is exactly where the market would start selloff,, I didn't understand anymore

The losses got so bad that I promised myself that if I can make $1 a day, I am okay,

I discovered synthetic because I can risk as litte as $1 on each trade. deposited $20, made $2 for two days and blew the account......my trading confidence was scattered, I was like after how many years I have invested in forex I cannot even make $1 a day for even a week.......I was no longer interested in being a baller, I just wanted consistent money, no matter how little it was.....

These days I mostly trade Naked charts, market structure and liquidity,,,,I like to trend trade.....,. I am a superstar on demo, perfect risk Management, great discipline and patience.

Trading doesn't excite me anymore, infact I feel sad when the money keeps coming in on my demo account but I cannot perform on my live account........ Everything just seems to go wrong when I go live, I started to hate trading money because it doesn't come with peace of mind,,,,, you will always ask yourself if you can replicate the performance next time you hit the markets

I think maybe because I am underfunded on my live account I tend to overexpose my trades, the journey isn't an easy one


For me no breakthrough yet, no crazy wins, no $1 to $1000,. Everytime I attempt anything risky, I am very sure I will be unlucky and blow the account.. we still on the grind, no giving up

Don't give up....I can relate...Aside you havinh little funds to go live. Your major problem is fear whiich is leading you to uneccessary
Anxiety and an unstable mind... Demo trading and trading live are two different psychology entirely . In live trading your real money is involved hence the anxiety, fear and unstable state of the mind leading to wrong decisions.

You can get as much as you get in demo acct in your live acct if you remove fear. Obey money management......trade as if you are trading a demo ofcourse not forgetting to obey strict rules.

Let me talk my experience...started trading forex early 2019...rushed into it without much practice...deposited 100. blew the acct. Went back to the drawing board came back ...infact i have i cant remember the number of times i have blown my acct because they are numerous.

Have gone koboless . Depressed. And i had lossed huge funds entrusted into my hands in forex. Have gone into debts.
But i never gave up...discovered all those losses were my fault....they came as a result of greed. Opening multiple positions. Not using stop loss etc...

I bounced back last year. Made good money. Boughtstuffs . Unfortunately greed came in again...i thought I have arrived ..boom I blew my acct....total loss if it should be calculated together should be close to 2million in naira. This happened late last year. The experience wasn't funny. Cos I was hoping on the cash to settle stuffs and for the yuletide n new year celebrations..

it happened cos of my greed. I opened multiple positions on gold( about 5 or so with no stop loss) ...silver ( I opened about 3 there about) ...opened some on GBPUSD all went against me...Saw my money diminishing by the hour but was still hoping market would return back...this happened cos I felt i have arrived in forex.

That day I went against my rules ..which were not trading more than 1 pair at a time ( I most trade gold) I trade silver sometimes too and GBPUSD on some occasions but It was a currency pair at a time and not more than two positions with stop or hedging. Everything
Thing was going well till that very day.

Though i won't lie...there is money in forex...I done chop money small and I have seen there is good money in forex if one can be disciplined

The last experience wasn't funny. The 1.67 dollar my broker left for me...I changed my leverage from 1:100 to 1.:1000 I opened a position on eurusd and it worked...i raised that to about 50 dollars and blew the acct on feb 2nd this year.

The next day which was Thursday i deposited 13k naira which amounted to 16.47 dollar ( my broker charges 750 naira to a dollar for deposit....withdrawal is 740 naira per dollar.
Them no dey tell blind man say rain dey fall. I don learn my lesson the hard way. I don see shege nobody go tell me to get sense dey use stop loss...avoid multiple positions...face one pair etc

Let me surprise you that 16 dollars is now over 70 dollars at this moment ( courtesy of the gold sell trade i keyed into on Thursday when gold was at 1957. Gold went down almost a thousand pips btw Thursday and Friday last week)

I plan to build this acct with discipline (e no easy o but so help me God) atleast 4k dollar before December. And it's a posibility !

Very possible. I have taken 1.67 dollars to almost 50 dollars (traded eurusd and I was on 1: 1000p leverage) and more.....have heard of traders that have taken 10 dollars to hundreds of dollars

Lol almost all indicators were saying over bought. Although based from past experience and mistakes the market taught me never to assume but i no go lie with the way the market has been up against USD especially on Gold even the best trader or proffessional would bet all his cards on expecting a reversal.

All for the controllers to still fling it over 240 pips upward in a pace of a minute and come to think of it the CPI data wasn't bad and unemployment data was lower than expected which was suppose to be a plus for the USD but they still pushed the charts against the dollar.

Many atimes I have come to see that they can push the market any direction
Irrespective of whether the data or news favours that particular currency and most of the time they go against the expectations and positions of over 90 percent of traders. Nevertheless it's a lesson learnt...

The market has taught me today that it can continue going in one direction, that it can disrespect overbought theory. The answer is never to Assume at any point ìn time because these market pushers keep springing up surprises every time.

Notmally during high volatility news i always hedge so that if the market flings to any direction am safe but I didnt do that today due to the over confidence i have that Gold must come down being that almost all indicators were showing over bought privy to it upward movement continuously for the past one week with out good corrections but them still fling am up.

My saving grace was that it was only one position that was against me which didn't really affect my balance...If to say I make the normal mistake I normally by opening multiple positions my acct for don waka...man don learn the hard way the temptation of opening multiple positions that one i don over come am

Due to the nfp numbers, the odds of a 75bps hike in september has increased significantly as compared to the initial 50 bps. This should cause gold to start sliding and in time retest 1720. Though the fed would also have to take into account the august nfp and cpi numbers before the fomc meeting next month. Lets see what the july cpi has to offer next week.

You are on point. Gold will tank seriously nefore any further major movement up. The unemployment' nfp and other news published since thursday favoured the USD. And the dollar hasn't really yet reacted to these released data that is in favour of it' on my opinion which may be due to pelosi visit to taiwan and is like she gonna be departing today.
We are likely to experience USD seriouslydealingwith it pairs the few days of this week.
