Romance / Re: Why Nigerian Ladies Should Never Settle For Less by depato88(m): 12:37pm On Sep 21, 2014
100Cents: Finally, in the end, you will have only yourself to blame...

Since you are a trophy who deserves free food, free ride, expensive dates and BIS/recharge card for doing absolutely nothing. Please do not settle for less.

The way our young ladies carry themselves shows that marriage is not their ultimate goal but scouting for the richest, most handsome and most successful man in the society who is willing enough to pay the imaginary value she has placed on her love.

These sort of ladies do not take corrections for any wrong. They are always right and the last thing she expects from you, her date, is saying that what she did didn't go down well with you, instantly her mind tells her, " it is time to dump mike for John ".

Some of them go as far as dating every single guy who says hi to them seeing him as a potential maga to be kept on the ever long list of those under her false promise of, " I will come and see you ". Because he is a potential goldmine and will serve a future purpose at a future date. This keeps the stu.pid gullible man calling and sending recharge card to make sure he out performs or outsmarts any other competitor for the elusive girl. It is all a game. But it ends in confusion. It takes deceiving oneself first to be able to deceive others..

God punish all the gold digging ladies. All the men you have wrecked with your lying tongues and pretences will hunt you later.. Keep searching for Mr. Right. He has already passed you by when you treated him as dung..

Nonsense..

u nailed it bro.....afta evry sed n done like my mother used to say " the pride of a woman is her husband"

Politics / ‘northern Leaders Should Dialogue With B’haram’ by depato88(m): 8:59am On Sep 08, 2014
With the incessant attacks by the Boko Haram sect,
the General Overseer, Kingdom of the Love Church of
Christ in Lagos State, Prophet Felix Oluyemi has
urged Northern leaders to initiate dialogue with Boko
Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, in order to end
insurgency in the North.

Prophet Oluyemi, who addressed journalists on the
state of the nation, in preparation to mark his
ministry’s 20th anniversary, said the war against
terrorism would end with the intervention of northern
leaders.
He said: “ The Emirs of Sokoto and Kano, Gen. Ibrahim
Babangida (retd), Gen. Abdusallam Abubakar (retd)
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) and Mallam Nasir
el-Rufai, among others must come together and seek
ways of reaching out to their sons in the sect.
“As elders and leaders of the North, they are the ones
that can appeal to their sons to end this insurgency.
As leaders, they are the ones that can get information
on how best to talk to Boko Haram leader, Abubakar
Shekau. Getting across to Shekau and appealing to
him does not make them members of the sect. When
there was Oodua Peoples Congress crisis in the
South-West, Yoruba elders including the Ooni of Ife,
intervened and called their sons to order.”
The cleric added that for dialogue with Boko Haram to
be fruitful, it has to be initiated by northern leaders.
It would be recalled in July 2014, concerned muslims
under the aegis of Concerned Muslim Professionals
urged Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, to
lead the dialogue with members of the dreaded
terrorist sect, Boko Haram .
The dreaded Boko Haram sect have continued to
carry out several attacks in the North, which has left
thousands dead and several other injured and
displaced from their homes.

MY PEOPLE IS HE RIGHT OR WRONG?

Romance / Chris Oyakhilome’s Brother, Rev. Ken, Alsoaccused Of Adultery by depato88(m): 3:03pm On Sep 01, 2014
The tension surrounding the reported divorce
of pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife Rev.
Anita intensifies as pastor’s younger brother, also a
clergyman, is accused of fornication and adultery

The news about the marriage end of the founder of
the Christ Embassy Church broke out last week as
Rev. Anita had allegedly filed the divorce documents
to the London court stating “adultery” and
“unreasonable behaviour” as reasons for her decision.
The move caused split among the church members,
who took to social media to express their support
either to the one or the other side of the conflict . Some
people were sympathetic to the wife, the others said
that all humans make mistakes. Some even refused
to believe the newы saying that everything was fine
with their marriage.
Amid the hot discussions of the issue Nigerian Times
has exclusively reported that Oyakhilome’s
brother Rev. Ken, also the founder of the church,
allegedly impregnated a South African lady a
member of the Church in Randburg, Guateng, which is
the headquarters of Christ Embassy, South Africa.
The famous cleric’s brother used to act as the
regional pastor of Christ Embassy in charge of South
Africa and was later transferred to the branch in the
USA. Rev. Ken is believed to have romanced with the
church member, which was an “open secret” among
the parishioners. When the news about the woman’s
pregnancy started making rounds, church officials
reportedly fudged the issue to prevent scandal.
Moreover, the child was aborted with the knowledge of
church leaders, report says.
It was at the time when Rev. Ken lived and served in
South Africa, while his wife Pastor Ose managed the
Okota, Lagos branch of the church. The two still live
apart as now Oyakhilome runs the church in Texas.
Outraged church members took to Facebook to
comment on the situation and confirm the shocking
disclosures:
From Sister Lebogang Radibela:
“It’s true, here in Johannesburg a pastor impregnated
a young lady and forced her to do abortion, later on
the lady was promoted to being a pastor, till today
she is still a pastor, working together with the wife to
the pastor who impregnated her. Members act like
this is normal; I mean where we draw a line.”
From Jacob Nnoli:
@Sister Lebogang Radibela, “it’s not just a pastor.
it’s our darling older brother Rev Ken himself that
activated the pregnancy button but it’s shocking to
know that our regional pastor, Pastor Ose
Oyakhilome, a mother herself supported the abortion
and by (following the principle of the ) 48 laws of
power, she’s keeping her close. That sounds like what
an ‘area mother’ would do and to top it up, the
grandfather himself Rev Chris ordained the sister a
pastor and probably help seared the damaged
conscience with some rands/dollars. How many
more in Nigeria region? Time will fail us to speak of
Asaba, Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Benin and many too
numerous to mention. I had to listen to that Youtube
message again this morning and I can now
understand when Pastor Chris said Pastor Anita
should have moved with those who will help her as
the wife of global pastor. Is this what she should
learn, to help Pastor Yemisi and other indicted
ladies? Actually Pastor, you forgot to announce the
firing of Pastor Pat, the CSO as a result of leaked
White House (Pastor Chris’ residence in Lagos)
information and the hiring of a brother-in-law Deacon
Kingsley Osazuwa. Our darling Rev Ken, it looks like
Durex, Trojan, and Gold circle condoms etc have all
finished in the market because of ….May God have
mercy but we need to obtain the mercy.”
It would be recalled that rumours about Chris
Oyakhilome’s and Rev. Anita’s break-up first surfaced
in May as some members started inquiring in social
media where Rev. Anita was expressing their worries
over her long-term absence . However soon the
church officials denied the reports about the divorce of
the famous couple blessed with 2 children.
As for the current information, the church is yet to
drop an official comment.

Sports / NFF Faction Claims Sabotage And Urges Investigation Into Glass House Fire by depato88(m): 8:23am On Aug 21, 2014
Vice President Mike Umeh has described Wednesday’s fire
as suspicious while Victor Baribote called for the security
services to probe the loss of important documents
By Shemmy Sholabomi
Aug 21, 2014 00:15:00
After the Wednesday morning
fire incident that engulfed the
third floor offices of the Nigeria
Football Federation in Abuja,
the vice president Mike Umeh
has described the it as an act of
sabotage. Umeh who was
acting president until Aminu Maigari was reinstated by
world governing body FIFA was angered about the fire
incident and only stopped short of claiming that Maigari
used it to cover his tracks.
A meeting was held on Tuesday where a communiqué was
issued by the NFF postponing next Tuesday’s general
elections . Umeh claims that it is all part of a ploy by
Maigari’s faction to hide their dirty linen.
“A lot of corruption is going on in the Nigeria Football
Federation. The [fire incident] is an act of sabotage,” Umeh
told media in Abuja.
“The meeting held [at the NFF Secretariat on Tuesday], we
were not part of it and we did not agree with it. Nobody can
perpetuate himself in power. It is not done.
“They are just buying time. We have to hold our elections
on the 26th of this month. If they like let them burn the
whole of Abuja we must hold our election.
“Of course it could be an act of sabotage if not what kind of
fire (outbreak) is this? This happened during working
hours. It did not happen during the night when we can say
it was as a result of power failure (surge) during the night,”
he said of the fire that was reported to have started from
the office of the Accountant.
“I understand one of our big men was here watching the fire
burning. The information I got was that the General
Secretary was here watching the fire burning,” Umeh said.
A former board member of the NFF who is proprietor of
Premier League club, Nembe City FC, Victor Rumson
Baribote said there is every need for security agencies to do
thorough investigation of the fire incident which he said is
akin to what could happen only in a place where there is a
restaurant.
According to him, “The truth is that both the security
agencies and the staff on duty have a lot of things to tell
Nigerians because this is not a restaurant where this type
of fire can just rage without anybody doing something to
contain it.
“Even as I don’t want to apportion any blame on anybody
yet, but coming at a time when people were calling for a
probe and people needed documents, then it needs to be
investigated because it means that there is something
fishy,” Baribote observed.

Politics / Re: Boko Haram: Soldiers Mutiny, Demand Better Equipment by depato88(m): 7:33pm On Aug 19, 2014
HAH: Honestly the government are not helping this men that volunteered themselves to fight for the nation.

My nephew came from Borno last three weeks, he said of the 14 passengers in the bus 12 are soldiers disguised as civilians deserting the army, some said they rather go and do okada in onitsha than be used as sacrificial lamb in Borno, one said his mother told him to leave and come back home, generally moral is low for the army in Borno for the soldiers

I have met an army officer that told me the major problem in this boko haram war is Moral is low among the soldiers, he said there is a soldeir killed in this BH crisis that his family were told to leave the barracks after some month with nothing , he also said there is. A wife of a young soldier that was killed in this Boko haram war and now the wife survives by following other men around the barracks, now do you think any soldier will sacrifice himself when he knows what will possibly happen to his family after his death..

Sadly this Boko Haram crisis has open the inefficiencies of the Nigerian army, the last time Nigeria was involved in an offensive war was in Biafra, that is why they are helpless, all the generals in Nigeria have never been to war, mind you peace keeping is never offensive.

My honest solution to this crisis is for the government to swallow it pride and contract the war on BH to the chadian army the way the french did in Mali, chad has the most rugged army in the region owing to the long civil war they had before stability came under idris deby. Boko Haram for the first time encroached on chadian soil last week I guess you all heard what happened to them, they were all captured and the entire 85 people they kidnapped in doron-baga were rescued, they BH know that the chadian army are ruthless hence they hardly encroach on them .

Most people that say Nigerian army are good don't really know them, the military in nigeria is one of the most corrupt institution, most of the officer if not all got to NDA through man know man, some are governors, ministers and perm sect children, is it this Ajebutters that you want them to go and fight war for you, most of soldiers joined because they want to brutalize civilians and be local champion, they never thought that a serious war like this will crop up, remember 99% of BH are bloody civilian that turn militant with little or no training, I wonder if this army can handle a full blwn civil war in Nigeria.

Before now the army use to tell us that BH are hiding among civilian that is why they are hard to be caught , now that BH have moved to the Bush is another story.

This government should do something.

The West Africa Examination Council, WAEC has
recorded mass failure in the just released May/June
2014 West African Senior School Certificate
Examination (WASSCE) results.
The mass failure which was recorded in both
Mathematics and English Language was analyzed by
the Head of National Office, WAEC, Mr. Charles
Eguridu earlier today saying: “A total of 529,425
candidates, representing 31.28%, obtained credits in
five (5) subjects and above, including English
Language and Mathematics.”
Vanguard reports that the WAEC National Office Head
noted that there was a great decrease in the
performance of candidates if this year’s results were
to be compared with that of previous years. He further
revealed that results belonging to about 145, 795 are
being withheld in connection with one examination
malpractice or the other.
He further said that out of the 1,692,435 candidates
that sat for the examination, 791,227 candidates,
representing only 46.75%, obtained 6 credits and
above, just as a total of 982,472 candidates
representing 58.05%, obtained 5 credits and above.

Politics / Mohammed Lai Narrates Ordeal In The Hands Of Security Operatives by depato88(m): 2:52pm On Aug 09, 2014
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the National Publicity
Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who
was arrested on Friday in Osogbo, by alleged hooded
security operatives, has narrated his ordeal to
Vanguard corespondent.
Mohammed, who said he was arrested for no reason
aside the fact that he belongs to the opposition party,
said the incident shows the level of illegality,
lawlessness, anarchy and intolerance to which the
country has descended to under the leadership of
President Goodluck Jonathan.

This was contained in a statement issued on
Saturday in Osogbo by Mohammed after he was
released by his detainees. The spokesman said he
was arrested alongside Mr. Sunday Dare, the Media
Aide to APC National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed
Tinubu, and Mr. Afolabi Salisu, Deputy Chief of Staff to
Gov. Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State.
Read the statement below:
"We were being driven to the Government House when
we were stopped at a military check point by men in
military and DSS uniforms, all hooded and armed to
the teeth with AK-47 assault rifles, pistols and other
weapons. Since there was no curfew in Osun state
and people were moving around freely, we felt it was a
routine check. Suddenly, the men, some of them
apparently drunk, ordered us out of the car, took our
phones, pointed their assault rifles at our heads and
said ‘you are under arrest’. They herded us into their
bus like animals and drove away. There is no doubt
that they knew who we are because I introduced
myself!
"From our encounter with our tormentors, there is also
no doubt that these were not just soldiers and DSS
officials, there were also ex-militants and thugs, all
clad in military and DSS uniforms but apparently
lacking in any training! We also witnessed how men
in military and DSS uniform fired their guns at the
gate leading to the residence of Senator Isiaka
Adeleke to force it open! We asked them why we were
being arrested, but they ignored our question as they
drove for close to one hour before veering into a
compound that turned out to be the offices of the DSS.
There, we met people who had been previously
arrested and stripped of their clothing, many of them
bloodied from the beatings to which they must have
been subjected.
"We were herded to one side as our tormentors
marched around triumphantly, in what could well
have been a scene from the Ukraine! We were waiting
for our turn to be stripped of our apparels and taken
along with those who were arrested earlier to the DSS
cells when a man who is apparently a senior DSS
official intervened and ordered our release. The men
who arrested us, apparently unhappy at the order to
set us free, rejected the order, until the man asserted
his authority and even accompanied us to where we
were arrested from.
"Back there, we discovered that our driver has been
badly beaten and even robbed of his personal
belongings by the same security agents being paid by
the taxpayers to protect the citizens, whose ranks
have now been swelled, willingly, by thugs and ex-
militants, armed and dressed in official uniforms by
the PDP and sanctioned by the Jonathan-led Federal
Government!
”This arrest is not about Lai Mohammed, Sunday Dare
or Afolabi Salisu, whoever we may be, but about the
constitutionally-guaranteed rights of Nigerians,
ordinary Nigerians, to move around freely, associate
with any party of their choice and express their
opinions without being molested or arrested.
"The way and manner we were harassed, arrested
and dehumanized on Friday night show that Nigerian
citizens can no longer be sure that the security agents
they encounter on the roads or anywhere else are
well-trained and highly-disciplined men and women
in the military, police, DSS and others that we used to
know. What we have now are Jonathan’s soldiers,
policemen and DSS officials who have since stopped
working for the nation but are now the enforcement
arm of the PDP.

"As we write this, APC leaders and members are still
being harassed and arrested across Osun State. We
have just received reports that our members were
arrested in Ifelodun Local Government Ward 10,
Atakumosa East Local Government and Ife East Local
Government, Okerewe Wards 2 and 3. Over all we
have ninety-seven leaders of our party in detention
and the arrest has not stopped. This cannot be right"
the statement reads.

Politics / War Of Words Between Gov. Rochas Okorocha And A Female Legislator From Imo State by depato88(m): 3:09pm On Aug 07, 2014
The Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha and a
female legislator from Imo state, Senator Chris
Anyanwu reportedly engaged in a war of words in the
public, according to Daily times.

Senator Chris Anyanwu in a statement signed by her
special assistant on public affairs and
communications, Vivian Jonathan Iwuoha has
responsed to alleged reports that Governor Rochas
Okorocha of Imo State insulted and humiliated
Senator Chris Anyanwu and made her cry in public.
According to Ynaija, It all started at the 2014 edition
of Oru Owerri Cultural Festival, held on Saturday, 5
August, at Ugwu Ekwema Civic Centre, when the
governor made some remarks that was supposedly
directed at Senator Chris Anyanwu, during his speech.
After calling her name last while he observed
protocol, the governor went further by saying to the
gathered crowd; “You must not allow a woman who
slaps her husband in public to govern the state. You
must not allow ono na di acho di (a married woman
who has pleasure in sleeping around with other men)
to govern or represent you anymore. You must not
allow a slippers thrower to be your governor.”
“When the time comes, we will tell you the people that
will give you good governance. We will tell you the
person that will be your senator; we will tell you the
person that will be your House of Representatives
member,” Okorocha added.
After the governor’s words, the senator walked out of
the venue with her aides, and was reported to be
crying as she entered into her car.
In a response, Sen. Anyanwu has released a
statement saying that Okorocha’s uterrances showed
that he is a menace to women.
Her statement read: Governor Okorocha has chosen to
constitute a menace to women; an affront to women
and this is battle for women, only our strong and virile
women will bring him to sanity.
Governor Okorocha may have guts but not enough to
let loose his tongue directly to Senator Chris
Anyanwu. That is to say the Governor did not, and
dare not, call Senator Chris Anyanwu a prostitute.
Rochas has no liver to embolden him on this. So, at
the Owerri cultural festival, he urged the people not to
vote for women who are generally prostitutes and
who have the tendency to slap their husbands – and
as usual he got away with it.
Senator Anyanwu does not fit into his bizarre
description and category, but it was well interpreted
by the crowd, and reports thereafter, to be a statement
directed to his enemy, the Senator. We all know, it’s
no longer a cold war, why Rochas has drawn the
battle line with Senator Anyanwu.
Apart from Senator Anyanwu being his strongest and
best contender in the 2015 guber race, Rochas will
not forget the power wielded by Senator Anyanwu for
his victory as governor of the State at the point when
Senator Anyanwu and APGA had not been betrayed
and sold out by Rochas. This is his sordid nature.
The statement further stated; Rochas Okorocha needs
some sort of therapy, fast. To this extent, no counter
attack came, and none will come, from distinguished
Senator Chris Anyanwu because in his usual
cowardice, he made a general, sweeping statement
derogatory to women.
Women must come together to fight against such
irresponsible and immodest conduct coming from a
man who gives impression that he has no reputation
to protect; who has no respect for the office and
position he represents in the State. The great news is
that Rochas has raised Senator Anyanwu to the status
of candidate. She has become a he-woman to be
feared by king-kong himself.
Rochas made a grave strategic error. He asked the
general question: will you vote a woman? It is not
just Senator Chris Anyanwu that is woman on IMO,
but Senator Anyanwu is that one that he fears and
dreads, knowing her strength and disciplinary nature.
That open, brazen statement that Owerri should not
vote woman has gone down for him.
Verily, the man who passed a vote of no confidence
on woman before the ancestors of Owerri people; the
man who declared at the timber market Orlu that Imo
women are the worst prostitutes will never again
enjoy the votes of women. Oru Owerri festival venue
was a declaration of war against woman. He will be
defeated and deflated by a woman, God being alive
and living.

Honestly, they have serious self-esteem problems.
Do you know Zimbabwe contributed nearly ten times
more to the anti-apartheid struggle than Nigeria? I'm
not even sure Pa Mugabe was aware of the funeral
much less attending it or making a speech. I don't see
Zimbabweans killing themselves over any ''snub''.
Even countries like Angola which were among the
frontline states that even sent in men and material to
fight alongside the ANC, yet they weren't asked to
make a speech. Some of our people really have
problems.
If South Africa has any issues with Nigeria, it is more
of a competition thing for leadership in Africa etc....
With Nigeria set to rebase her GDP, it will make
Nigeria Africa's largest economy, with the benefits
that all brings in terms of investment and global
profile etc.

not even sure Pa Mugabe was aware of the funeral
much less attending it or making a speech. I don't see
Zimbabweans killing themselves over any ''snub''.
