I am the only ttc mama in my area, everyone is getting pregnant and birthing
I am the only ttc among my married friends, dey were all present at my wedding and were not married then.

Okay yesterday night, told hubby that my best lady ate a concoction "aseje".. (My yoruba mamas knows dis)her mum use to make for any of her children dat ttc at a particular time and she is pregnant, na so oga vex tell me sey if i go and chop any "aseje", make i forget sey we marry becos he no want children from the devil kingdom.

I am sick and tired of using drugs and bn confused by doctors, one doctor sed its pcos, tho i don't have any sympton, gynea checked result and sed it's not valid, but he will treat hyperprolactemia first before proceeding for his own treatment.
Now i don't know who is right among the two

God should pls overlook all medical reports and give us what we as are asking for..

I want to be a MOTHER soon

don't worry mama u are already a mother OK? just relax God has already done it and it won't be long u will see d manifestation! just be patient OK? And the amazing thing is when ur first baby comes you will forget all the pains of Ttc! you won't remember all the tears again......I don't know how to explain it mama..... ALL will just erase out of ur memory samsam!!! GOD is indeed faithful wonderful mamas!

I kept on praying for her that God will remember her just like me one day. she came sober this particular day to my place and I asked her d problem 'ttc is very very sensitive that u don't just ask anyhow'. she said its bcoz of no child issue that her husband said his office people were asking him when are they coming for naming bcoz he has attended almost all of theirs that when will he invite them mmmmmm that d man will come home and transfer d anger on her..... mmmmmm. in fact I didnt know what to tell her but to encourage her with my testimony. I adviced her on some drug like clomid in fact she knows them more than me because she was also more than five years in marriage too then. I then remembered I read mama fvine's post on omega 369, she said she doesn't know abt it. I then advised her to give it a trial with prayers mmmmmmmmm my blest mamas in d house she quickly ran to buy it and started using it immediately.

fast-forward two weeks time she called me on early morning and asked me that does the drug messes up someone's period I was confused and answerd no oooo it will only make your system well, she said should I stop it and I said no ooooo continue it is doing em work, I didn't even know what I was saying too but I said God please take control don't let this woman to say I told her to use something that will scatter her system, infakiti I turned to overnight prayer warrior! my beloved mother she called me one early morning that she was coming to my house I asked hope no problem she said till she comes. I said in my mind even if u wan fight me people dey my house wey I go run to!

she came sat down and started crying, I asked her d problem mmmmmm my wonderful mother in the house she brought out d pregnancy pee stick and it was a BIG FAT POSITIVE! pregnant? Wat?? praisssssssssssse the Mighty JESUS................ HALLUYA!

I wanted to share this testimony since but I decided to wait till the baby arrives! so dear mama GOD can do it in a miraculous way when we don't expect it. imagine a faceless forum like this mmmm God is indeed faithful! don't lose hope GOD will settle every mama here with d desires of their heart IJN Amen! Madam hope you were able to get to prayer city on time? I had prepared last night ahead of the journey but, just around 12am I just have the urge not to go because I may come back home.
Woke up 4.30am to prepare but for where, something keep telling me to stay back.
I obey only to be woke by 8am by a fellow Mfm member that the traffic was hectic and as such she had turn back.


But as God will have it, I was able to connect to the program live (someone brought her phone to me to watch)
Our prayer shall not be in vain.

Organic mamas, try these recipes:
7months+
1. Chicken Casserole
Ingredients Potatoes (sweet or irish) Chicken breast (boneless chicken) Carrot
Dice and boil all together. Blend and serve warm. I also add this combo to my maize pap a times.
2. Creamy plantain soup
Ingredients Ripe plantain Small onion Baby formula
Cook the ripe plantain and onions together and blend to a fine paste. Add baby's formula and serve.
3. Semolina porridge
Ingredients Semolina Banana Baby's formula
Method Dissolve semolina in water and place pan on fire. When done, remove and add pureed banana and baby's formula.
4. Fruit Porridge Ingredients Baby rice ( I use brown ground rice) Mango + apple puree Baby's milk
Dissolve baby rice in water and place pan on fire to get done Add pureed mango + apple

Babe cut the lady some slack! We aren't all the same and perhaps she is being careful so as not to offend you. You know we women are complex! If she asks about your tummy and is suggesting this or that you( speaking metaphorically here) may term it as prying or trying to control you for eg!

She may have her own issues she's dealing with at the moment and as Blunt as this may sound she may not be happy to have you in her house. She too may like her privacy.

My suggestions are that you go with the flow. Put some random snacks biscuits, cereals etc in your room for when the general household isn't eating like they may not cook lunch daily for eg.

Source your hospitals and medical needs ( for lack of a better expression) yourself. Use google and this forum to enquired about hospitals for eg. Don't expect her or her children to drive you anywhere if they offer fine if not enter bus or taxi.

Minimize your expectations and try to blend in as much as you can. Make polite conversation about general subjects and help out where you can. Join her when she's making meals and ask what you can do to assist generally.

Hello Mamas in the house.
Please my ds is 1yr &4 months but has not started walking. He cruises around the house looking for things to hold but will not walk unaided. He hs been doing this for over 5 months. His nannies say he is making attempt at the crèche but no attempt at home. They said he was slowed down because of his sickness (he was sick for like a month: dysentery + hernia surgery + dysentery).
I was told I should be worried only when he's 18 months, but that is just at d corner, please I'm over worried already. What can I do to encourage him.

Relax mama he will definetly walk. I was also worried when my ds was a year and four months and was scared to walk, I was adviced to buy a walker for him I told my dh he hurriedly bought it becos he was worried top lol..... could you believe my ds walked within a week? initially he was scared to use it, I will hold his hand on it and ride with him while d music plays, d Walker is cute and comes with toys. d next day he was good to ride alone and wasn't scared again and within a week he walked! he still plays with because of d music, know ur ABC, 123...... many other learning stuffs.

so u can just be patient for ur lo to walk or buy d Walker. all d best!

Thanks mama, I am not upset she is always carrying the baby but the fact that she does it and say I can't talk care of the child that my mum needs to take the child from me. Cos I'm slow at changing diaper in (her opinion) and I open the diaper to check if he poo or wee. That I'm supposed to put my hands in from the side of the diaper to check for poo.

chanbaby all d maamas here just spoke my mind. calm down and enjoy dis phase bcoz you will so miss it soon. you are very lucky to see someone dat gives u and ur lo so much attention so dat u can have time to rest and take care of urself. wen I gave birth to my first child my mum came after 3months she left and my mother inlaw came too OMG I enjoyed infact u see me carry my lo only when breast feeding, I don't cook even to boil ordinary bathing was done by them mmmm I really missed those period!

fast-forward when I gave birth to my second my mum couldn't come bcoz my dad was not strong then, thank God 4 healing him and my sister in-law's wedding was fast approaching then so my Moda inlaw couldn't come as well. mmmm I hear OBA! infact I did omugwu by myself plus my handful toddler, thank God for my dh in fact he is my backbone but still not enough bcoz in d morning he is off to work till evening, it was hectic...... thank God for d man/woman that brought d wig idea bcoz dat was my saving grace lol. but I thank God today we are doing great!

so my dear sister don't be offended even when she says something you don't like just take it as if your mum said it cos our mum still corrects us being first mum or not nobody is above correction....... only GOD!

pls mamas,how can i go about this. my ds has patches of dry skin on his body esp on his legs few months after birth. that was when i ask noticed his lymph nodes.
he had serious fever few last week,which brought out more patches of the dry skin. Dr said it might be the infection he is fighting that is causing it cos an infection was found in the blood text but they couldn't detect where it is from. the fever is gone but the dry skin are much now.
