First, my house is not on the road.
Many Nigerians are law abiding, they only try to adjust to what their leaders allow.
For example, most Nigerians would naturally not give bribe if those in "authority"(whether clerks or gatemen) don't insist on collecting bribes to do their work.

@the bolded, a sane person would not just do things on impulse. Why would he " feel"?

That said,
Would you mount a bike ridden by a madman even if you are in a hurry?
Only a fool would choose a madman over a sane professional.
