The world would be boring without the art of signage design which incorporates the artistic nature of architecture, the inspiration of creative design/graphics and engineering ingenuity to create amazing works of art which provide wayfinding services to move around... |
Enjoy this good read on Autodesk Incorporated... http://the-dm3drev-studeos..in/2015/05/autodesk-incorporated.html

Jazzcelestin:@JAZZCELESTIN: Like seriously, dude, just because @spywareczar asked "what's this",that's why you went religious like that?!! Yes,you're right but calm down so far He hasn't taken the talent from him. Last time I checked you'ren't Him(God) also, abi?!!Good,so leave that decision to Him...If you want your guy @patricsoN's work to be taken more seriously here or anywhere else,he should work more on this output quality before he goes commercial. People aren't blind you know. There's google find enough video tutorials and pdfs FOC then become good,better,best...best regards... |
MrPatricsoN:@PatricsoN: Dude,I checked your post thinking you actually snapped pics with those singers. Not a poor attempt at Photo-Manipulation that didn't come out well. Now you want to teach people and do jobs with this output?!!Haba now, step your creative game up more than this and learn more stuff on this aspect before you go commercial. This work wouldn't survive on Naija Graphics Designers on facebook to be honest,it's one of the largest groups there dedicated to the Naija Creative Industry. There are lots of free youtube videos out there (check Andrei Oprinca and PHLearn amongst many others when you search for Photoshop related videos) and premium ones available @spywareczar isn't a discouraging person I know him very well here & personally but you've forced him to answer the way he did because on what you said & @jazzcelestin also. Best Regards |
anticent:Google up and compare between these apps for making cartoons you see on Cartoon Network,Boomerang,Nickelodeon and Disney XD... 1. Adobe Flash (www.adobe.com) 2. ToonBoom Harmony,Animate,Animate Pro and Studio (www.toonboom.com) 3. SmithMicro Anime Pro (www.my.smithmicro.com) For storyboards to sketch out the scenes google up and compare these apps... 1. Adobe Photoshop (www.adobe.com) 2. Autodesk SketchBook Pro (http://students.autodesk.com) or (www.autodesk.com) |
@DONALD3D: I see your posts on various groups on facebook including the 20 free tools/plugins for Autodesk's 3dsmax topic...keep it up,best regards and you nailed it... |
Nmeri17:@NMERI17: No be like dat,I dey clear am make him show person wetin him get & not just words only,he cum take am personal... If person no sabi download am na best tin 2get dis package because not all apps, cracks & video tutorials are free person go use mastercard or visacard... |
ikecinho:@IKECINHO: Don't need anyone's money like seriously?!! Clarify that for us all meaning you do all your 3d or VFx jobs for free or next to nothing really interesting... Don't know what am yapping about you meant not yabing(use a dictionary next time...ok*wink wink*) Oh really did I touch a sensitive nerve*lol*?!!Just being civil with you so don't take it personal. Niether do I know what you are talking because you haven't clarified what you have in your archives, bro so the feeling is mutual. So you had those tutorials all along did nothing with it or said so and now somebody is providing a service that is when you choose to show up talk about it...wow...perfect timing in quote*smh*ironic... |
Idrismusty97:@IDRISMUSTY97: Like somebody said you really need to know both AutoCAD and ArchiCAD. It is because you need to be versatile to survive in today's Architecture,Engineering and Construction(AEC)Industry in Nigeria. I also recommend you know Revit Architecture better because it has now become the world standard and firms I knew that use ArchiCAD before have forced their studio architects to change on the spot or lose their jobs to those who know it. It depends on the firm you plan to work with eventually as an IT student or graduate architect. I usually recommend Autodesk apps because of inter-relatively and design workflow for compatibility e.g. creating 2D working detail drawings in AutoCAD,3d model of the building in Revit Architecture, have the options to doing sketch presentations with shadows like SketchUp Pro would, shaded 3d renders or render a quick 3d final render using its MentalRay render engine gotten from 3dsmax(2009 and above while 2008 uses Accurender) and for photorealistic renders; the Revit model is imported into 3dsmax then rendered out using VRay and Maxwell Render(all these app files can be linked to each other and update automatically-expert tip) Visit http://students.autodesk.com sign up for free to get authentic serials, product keys and 3year licenses from Autodesk, Your budget for laptop should be 90k minimum for 6GB RAM expandable to 8GB,iCore3,750GB,1.9GHz CPU speed,Webcam,Bluetooth,USB ports,WiFi etc...recommended brands: Dell Alienware,Dell,Acer,Toshiba,Samsung,Lenovo,Sony and HP(least recommended). Very soon Hexacore(12 processors)pcs will be the order of the day over iCore7(8processors)with 16-32GB RAM etc 200k and above best regards... |
jjk24:@JJK24: SketchUp Pro is good for modelling alright but can not compete with Building Intelligent Modelling(BIM)apps such as Revit Architecture,ArchiCAD or Arcat when it comes to several revisions, data documentation and MEP all in one app... Another error you made is just because cracks and activation codes with serial for any software package are readily available doesn't make it free in any way. Trying buying one in USD with the current exchange rate @N194 then you'll know how far*lol* Best Regards... |
Check out this advert for premium video tutorials, apps included with the plugins and it can be delivered to you in Bayelsa if you can't get anyone to teach you directly... https://www.nairaland.com/1934666/cinema-4d-premium-tutorials-materials |
kiki1000:@KIKI1000: Here are my answers... 1. No, you don't have to a fine artist or cartoonist for 3d character design but able to create a basic thumbnail sketch clear enough to communicate your idea to a pro digital artist to draw the character's action pose and character model sheets(showing all elevations, clothes, suits or boy armour and weapons if any)saves a lot of stress for you...Word of advice never limit imagination for anything go beyond borders 2. Though am mainly biased towards Autodesk apps for 3d and VFX such as 3dsmax,Maya etc I have come to appreciate Cinema4D because of Adobe AfterEffects and Blender because of what I've seen, some amazing works done here and abroad that the quality was so alike in render output. Quoting "Digital Tutors" on their blog "No software is better than the other, they are capable of performing similar tasks varying in nature most efficiently or vice-versa in comparison",all dependent on the CG Artist in question which is you... 3. All I know for a fact is that Lagos,Abuja,Kaduna and Port-Harcourt have the highest concentration of experienced artists. You need to scout your end to find an experienced person to share with you, tips tutorials and videos courses from his or her archives for free or token if the person is willing hopefully in Bayelsa... Otherwise you will have to come to any of those major cities I mentioned to find people or attend some short courses lasting a few months...3dsmax,Maya,Premiere Pro and AfterEffects are readily taught and available as courses because of popularity but Cinema4D is just picking up speed in that aspect from my observation... Source for tutorials online youtube, vimeo, digital tutors, lynda, tuts+premium and many more invest in them, best regards |
ikecinho:@IKECINHO: You don't come and post that comment without having your own content spelt out clearly like Spywareczar has done with this post i.e. weblinks and pictures. From your profile I see you are in Anambra,so if I was interested in it but in Lagos. How in the world do I want to get it doesn't it mean I have to pay for the delivery via courier which isn't free whether it is EMS Speedpost,DHL,UPS or FedEx?!! This package is what I recommend to anyone who wants to know Cinema4D and ZBrush asap to get as long as this offer lasts,it saves data and cost. Come down to computer village,Ikeja,Lagos and try buying each of those 30 video tutorials,Cinema4D and other plugins for an average of N2,000 with begging them to pity you...so approximately over N60,000 in total to buy them...comparing that to N13,000 and will be delivered the person's address(Are you going to do that?!!)as for me it's a good deal anyday. Think twice before knocking somebody else' hustle when the person is doing a favour and a service...karma still exists Best regards. |

frankben4real:@FRANKBEN: Cool 3d pics,it doesn't matter what app you use whether it's 3dsmax,Maya,SketchUp Pro,Cinema4D,Blender etc as long as you used VRay as the render plugin that's all the forum is about, best regards & keep up the goodwork |

JN1:@JN1: Still waiting for your call, dude,if you are still interested in the Alienware 15x again,d offer still stands though and for those who still want it for a 100k call the number in the post and the seller is in Lagos... |
prof800:@PROF800: I sure do agree, when I did these renders I wasn't so knowledgeable about VRay and Photoshop as I am now so definitely needs more post-production there. You got the idea of my fish-eye perspective I wonder why it is still seen as a strange view. Most times I get correct your camera view like I didn't know what I intended*lol*all good though... If you want some free VRay video tutorials check out a mentor of mine, big brother and his team in this Nigerian 3d ArchViz industry>>> Ways Studios Blog www.waysstudios.com/blog and follow them on most social media links. For inspiration check out these other websites for Nigerian 3d visualists, Chronos Studeos Blog www.chronos-studeos.com/blog and 3dmatic Atelier www.3dmaticatelier.com. These guys are all strong VRay users with awesome render and animation skills. Feast your eyes... |
Tymax:@TYMAX: Noted all your observations, thanks hope to improve in future renders, those dark areas were more of a vignetting issue than the antialiasing filter of Catmull Rom I found out while practising in my sparetime, getting the values of the shutter speed and Film ISO for either interior and exterior renders matter a lot with tweaks here and there. Just even recently read up on the need for adding Z-Depth to the camera before rendering for more reality check that up also. About the tiles the size was deliberate though especially for that futuristic living room,I've bought such sizes to lay down in an office last year. |
It's cool to see there is a forum on VRay now let's resurrect this thread again this year... here some past visualization done by me using AutoCAD and Revit(for modelling) then imported in 3dsmax rendering in VRay...hope you like them...exploring other modeling apps with time...

JN1:Yes,mate,but you have to be fast if you really want it because as I am posting this reply I have seen a higher offer so it's a matter of who pays fastest and 1st,best regards, amigo |
