I consider this forum an inseparable part of my success. I respect each one here so deeply. I joke a lot, hope I can be forgiven for that.... |

QUOTES:
_The game of speculation is the most uniformly fascinating game in the world. But it is not a game for the stupid, the mentally lazy, the person of inferior emotional balance, or the get rich-quick adventurer. They will die poor.
_Don’t take action with a trade until the market, itself, confirms your opinion. Being a little late in a trade is insurance that your opinion is correct. In other words, don’t be an impatient trader.
_I set protective stops at the same time I enter a trade. I normally move these stops in to lock in a profit as the trend continues. Sometimes, I take profits when a market gets wild. This usually doesn’t get me out any better than waiting for my stops to close in, but it does cut down on the volatility of the portfolio, which helps calm my nerves. Losing a position is aggravating, whereas losing your nerve is devastating. |

robobo: where is druggedprof he is been silent for some days now hope he is also not abandoning ship like bullbearmkt abi Oga Agba don pursue prof away? Robobo, I have been around reading and reflecting on your informed comments on this forum. It pays to listen and pick/sieve extra terrestrial market signals once in a while. Talking degrades listening. Any action you continuously take without a conscious break will break you.... Agba's perceived monopolistic hijacking of a 'coke bottled' Eve on this forum is a non legislative item.... @Fxuser, I keenly read you daily. |

One day Nigeria will filter its acts and we may be having get togethers each year... I pray such a day will come. We may decide to select an AGM and do our best to get as many of us as possible to attend. That starting as a neutral venue, will help us to connect physically without 'VENUEPHOBIA' and start a FORCE! A day will come when if we on this forum 'decide on stocks', managements will seek our opinion before taking exotic vacation destinations and 'ill willed' AGM venues. |

I'm feeling giving him 20℅ share can actually earn him 200℅ gain at the end of 2018(that is in worst case scenario). No company can give so much gain or dividend in a short while. I dunno maybe I'm getting greedy or the man is exploiting me. Do a research on OANDO. |

I have been severally tempted in my dreams to set up something, but my experience has shown me to restrict myself to financial markets, till I haven't genuine need for money again. Alike on my mind. My work experience in multinationals has given me an omni-directional view into the limitless destructive capacity of MOST megalomania possessed and cancerous mismanagement talents. I will never be deceived to disguise charity, as 'my company' or 'start-up'. NEVER!!! It is sad. Very sad when I reflect on some experiences. |

Coolcash1: I am impressed with the way you are playing around numbers to analyse and understand the basis for current pricing of the banks shares...This is part of what is expected of an investor.
On the strength of your analysis, investing N4m seems better in UBA than others because it produced the highest dividend income... However, you and I know it's not sufficient to price their shares solely on this. There are other non-quantitative factors considered by investors chief among which is management efficiency in creating earnings at minimal cost and quality of corporate governance. GTB possess these two qualities. That is why it's regarded as a premium stock and the likes of zenith et al will continue to trail it. I always go for what will make me pay my bills on time.... |

OBAGADAFFI: FCBM @1.19koko is not low for me.
Buying low and selling high is the basics of trading.
How you target that LOW and HIGH, is your individual task. The problem, ideally, for beginners is that they INSIST that their low MUST correspond to 52 weeks low and their high MUST also be the 52 weeks high. E.g someone will see offers pilling up and insist he must collect additional 0.02k and refuse to sell at N3.00 hoping for N3.02 Insisting to buy at the MARKET BOTTOM and sell at the MARKET PEAK and not your 'RANGE' is a perfect recipe for regrets. Another problem is refusing to do incremental buying and selling, whereby it's either you get everything sold or bought at a particular price or never. |
