Not sure the noise about C&I Leasing. Doubt new 'numbers' that came out to warrant change of opinion.

The share reconstruction is not really new. It was always on the table.

Now, many companies will 'pump up' their prices because of plan public offers. People need to shine their eyes.

Money is made when you sell, so when buying consider what will happen when you plan to sell. Someone just gave example of Nigeria German Chemicals!

People need to be careful and not get carried away with penny stocks which are looking good but have very POOR corporate governance, Companies that dont release results as at when due.

Nobody is running down CILeasing (in my opinion though)! The 'standard' guy only made us aware of information in the public domain which a lot of people were not aware of.

Moreover, share reconstruction has never worked effectively in 9ja. At least it has never favoured retail investors like myself. It has a way of finding the path of least resistance to the pre-reconstruction price (where I would be waiting).

I have never been a trading guy, but on this occassion, if i had CIL (i don't) i would have dropped them like hot potatoes.

i use to buy stock with plan to hold till next financial year report in respect of the time of buying i.e minimum of 12 month without even a profit target but after my analysis of what i think is the fairprice "my guide",,, if the price move in my favour i sell before fairprice reach before the 12 month period

Don't be deceived Nestle is grossly overpriced. It's fair price is N700.

On the lifting of the N0.50k floor price for shares by NSE, this will truly allow market mechanism to determine the true value of any stocks. Now investors will have the power to praise or punish any non performing stock... However, my concern is that it might create room for hostile takeovers...

Who knows? I read somewhere that they are planning to commission a new line of 1.5MT.
I am confused about the news as I really don't know if the new line belongs to concentrated center or the parent company BUA.
Anyway, I think the number is good enough as I am sitted already in the bus with a plan to buy more if there is a pullback.
