Connoisseur: So what happens to the court process?
Justice Obiora Egwuatu, they have made you the scapegoat. You will always be remembered as the judge who remained minors and demanded 10m bail. Next thing, NJC is coming after you.
Lesson for all those who are used for hatchet jobs When I saw the name of the judge, I sighed and shook my head. They will never learn. |

Cabbage rolls and a side of salad.
Tried making cabbage rolls for the first time. The filling was very tasty however, I need help in making the cabbage as tasty as the fillings. The steamed one seems more tasty than the baked one. Make a thick sauce of choice and rub all over the steamed cabbage before putting your fillings. I always add mustard to my sauce. Or you can substitute to a sweeter veggie like lettuce. Romaine lettuce preferably. Nigerian type of lettuce is so good for wrap without seasoning it. |

Angelfrost: Nothing... Except the fact that Nigeria is a colonial product of Britain, and English has always been the official language of the nation, taught and learnt from infancy.
It's one thing to check the proficiency or ability of a Japanese, Chinese, Russian, or even Saudi Arabian to write or communicate in English since they have to adapt the language seeing as it's not their official language or it's foreign to them, but asking learned citizens in a nation where English is their main interacting language is weird and downright exploitative.
By the way... Nigerians speak and write better English than the same UK citizens averagely.
You should research this... They know how much they make from that exam yearly. All other colonial product of Britain write exams. I ask again, what made u different? |

Image123: Unfortunately, in Nigeria's law, they've not been punished. They are still in court. They may be discharged, you know. Tinubu is on the same page because the case is public and trending. He probably saw them just like you and i saw them. He doesn't see the faces and ages of everyone in police custody. We need serious reforms, that i subscribe to. The reform process to help our law enforcement, reduce police detention time, etc. will not happen in a month. But it must happen, we are all for that. However, nothing justifies crime and criminals should not be pampered. It doesn't end well. The agbero people that raided people's property and shops during last elections in lagos, even went as far as almost killing one lady were captured on phones, what has the police done? Look the other way. Make we here better words abeg. U don't arraignment kids in adult court or keep them in adult prison. Go and read united nations charter on kids under 18, how they should be treated. Cos your country have never protected, planned and safeguarded their kids in the first place makes those in power think they are within their right to have done. I a sure they don't know that as part of UN, they must protect their kids. Those kids should have been in school. Why are they out of school? Nigeria has the highest number of out of school children in this world and what do you expect those kids to be doing? They are tools for any politicians who can feed them even if once. Jonathan tried so much. Buhari came in and abandoned all those projects Jonathan started. Tinubu don't give a heck. When school building collapsed in kaduna trapping children, he didn't even brink or send anybody. But he is so fast to arrest hungry malnourished and protesting children that don't have a future. Bokoharam promises better future to these children than your government has ever done. It makes me wanna puke when people are defending this atrocity. This is the height of it. |

DomPerignon: What you all fail to champion is the end of the almajiri system.
Looking at videos from the last riot you will easily know that majority of those who took part in the riot and looting were almajiris.
There are close to 15 million almajiri kids in the north and these kids that were brought to court today are almajiris.
You can't be crying more than the breaved.
If the northerners do not see cause to end the menace of almajiri system is it you that is here crying over them being sent to prison that we should listen to?
The fact is that if there was no almajiri system in the north, there will be an end to most of the violent riots that rear their heads over there. There won't be a pipeline of human foot soldiers to join bandits and terrorists .
I know you all want to bleed this obviously staged event for maximum political gain but you are sounding more daft with your fake bleeding heart for almajiris. You are talking gibberish. Go and read right of a child under 18 under united nations, then we have something in common to talk about. I don't talk politics. Care less. |

DomPerignon: Almajiris have been living a destitute life begging for food , nah now you get their time ?
Besides, they will be housed in seperate buildings from adults and they are guarranteed at least a meal .
You are talking as if the almajiris were living the life before they got arrested.
The fact that you from the yeast is now championing almajiri rights is even more absurd. Kids don't go to adult court neither adult prison. They have correctional facilities or prison if they killed. And when prosecuted most times, that is behind closed door. You wouldn't know because Nigeria don't value her children and don't know anything about children's right. As usual, it will end in us versus them as always. The black beans you have to drain the water and rinse it if you bought canned ones. Or soak overnight if you’re using raw beans.
I love all kinds of beans. And love love lentils 😀 I used raw one. Soaked overnight. Followed one recipe like that. I will try again. I love Guyanese cuisines and they add these beans. They cook rice and fiofio. Can you imagine that. They call it gungo beans. |
