PoliticsRe: The President’s Steward: A Pauper In Aso Rock! by Descartes: 2:57pm On Sep 28, 2014
gbadexy: Abi. Now the president's enemy knows there is a poorly paid worker working in a no less sensitive post than in the kitchen!
I just hope he would be given something substantial as send forth gift.
He's deficient in reasoning. Served for 30 years but could not obtain loan a build a house. He is being paid by some mischief-makers to conjure this lie in order to to score cheap political points coupled with cheap shots. He sack is inevitable. Very pathetic.

Now everybody knows who is in charge of the president's meal.
I doubt if the president would be comfortable with that knowledge.
He will be sacked !!

rudedough: I am deeply honored to receive this prestigious title (Associate Professor) from a representative of NIPSS (Nairaland Institute of Political and Strategic Studies) Dr. Descartes. This award, combined with others I received between 2013-2014 in politics and religious section, highly recognizes my research and contribution at the University of Nairaland. I would like to dedicate this award to my major professor, His Royal Highness Dr. Ade Musiwa, for his outstanding guidance. Nairaland, through its vast political analysts and published journals, keeps me updated in the field of Political and Strategic Studies. This award provides me encouragement for further research and publications on our undisputed mother of all forum Nairaland.

Thank you.

Balkan: Sometimes I am forced to ask what you and your masters from the have benefited from ruling Nigeria since independence. Northerners are the poorest in the country followed by the west despite having ruled Nigeria this long. The easterners are ahead of you in everything. to what benefit is being the president of Nigeria. Biafrans are better of in everything. hold on to the presidency while we hold our economic power.

basty: I have said this severally and will keep saying this that "before an Igbo man becomes a President of Nigeria, he needs the vote of the Southwest". It is easier for a Yoruba man to become the President of Nigeria without a single vote of an Igbo man. An average Hausa man will never trust an Igbo man where as an Hausa man will always belief a Yoruba man before an Igbo. Why the hatred from Igbo toward Yoruba on any fora?

PoliticsRe: The Fear Of Buhari Is The Begining Of Wisdom For Corrupt Politicians. by Descartes: 6:24am On Sep 28, 2014
rudedough: As much as we want an incorruptible President, i don't think Buhari can do much in the fight against corruption. Why? Because we are not in the military era where judgement is served without trial. In a democracy Buhari will be frustrated by the judiciary's lacadestic approach to prosecuting corrupt politicians.

What is going to do about the corrupt EFCC, Police, Judges? What about the intelligent lawyers, partisan press and readily available supporters that would stage a nationwide protest? What's Buhari going to do? Ask the military to whip protesting civilians like he did in 1983? Or is he going to muzzle the press? Or will he arrest and jail the intelligent lawyers who're most likely to defend corrupt politicians in court? What is he going to do about these bottle-necks exactly?

Let's face it, the system is very corrupt and complicated and Buhari can't do much. I still will like to see him perform his magic however.
I hereby recommend you for a rank of Associate Professor in the Nairaland Institute of Political and Strategic Studies(NIPSS) cool

When you are engaged in real battle and you see your guys fall you think and behave very differently. The phrase "extra judicial killing " are just WORDS there is NO ARMY on earth today that does not carry out executions on the battlefield. Soldiers are humans not saints
