Here is a popular video of the kind of healthy opposition APC sponsored against Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. According to popular opinion, the voiceover was done by an activist, who ended up having a seat at the table of the APC Presidency. Furthermore, it was revealed that this video was sponsored by a US foundation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPAYAQ9lBdk?si=bl0SowujNDPE8r_t |
Ttalk:Like I said previously, illiteracy is not only the absence of reading/writing skills. It is also the below-par presence of reading/writing skills. Did you even use the tools around you to explore before tagging me to this show of shame? Kindly peruse the first figurative device drawn forth from the statement. You may want to consider evening classes though, my 2 cents.

It rose to where it wants to be, and remained there. It is stable for the graph while destabilising the pockets of the civilians using it for buying and selling. |
A student once complained to me that one of his classmate asked him "Are you mad?". I asked him "what did you do after that?" He replied "I told her that I was not mad, she is the one that is mad." I asked him what department he is in, and he confirmed that he was in the "Arts department." I proceeded to teach him about the figurative "Rhetorical Question" in Literature, which is a question that does not seek an answer, but instead, passes information. I explained that she was trying to tell you that she doesn't like what you did/are doing, not questioning your sanity. Illiteracy is not only the absence of reading/writing ability. It is also the below-par presence of reading/writing ability. The persons behind this fact-check are illiterates for completely missing the figurative use of words. You'd actually expect a writer to have these grounds of literary devices covered. |
Since no one wants to mention it, I will. Alex Onyia has once again, taken up this fight to see that justice is served. Alex Onyia is an Igbo man. |
Ikaeniyan0:Say that again but slowly, this time, without crying. |
Jd10k:Peter Obi stands firm and has never deviated from his pact with Nigerians. Your principal promised one to handle economy and the other to handle security. Guess what the report card is saying today. I'm sorry but you already know what time it is. Everyone is waiting for it. |
Ikaeniyan0:Zechariah 12:3 - At that time all the nations on earth will gather together against Jerusalem. Then it will become like a rock that can’t be moved. All the nations that try to move it will only hurt themselves. Matthew 16:18 - And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Happy Sunday to the people of God! |

masterfactor:Possibly. But first, English language needs to be studied. |
What is the aim of repeating this publication? We've gone down this lane before, No? https://www.nairaland.com/8453256/vat-what-states-generated-what That being said, VATs are not always remitted at the point of consumption but the costs are borne by the consumer and paid by the consumer at the point of consumption. This data is flawed. I'll give an example. A company that produces canned meat to be sold all over Nigeria. The company remits the VAT where it is headquartered. But the canned meat is sold all over the country; and the VAT payers are all over the country. The same applies to every interstate goods consumers have to pay VAT on. Quest7777:You possibly don't know that places with high oil activities pay a humongous amount of VAT too. |
Tflex01:'sain' minds should take their education seriously so they can read to find out on their own instead of being told to spread rumours. |
seunmsg:Yorubas (and Nupes) actually learnt both the art of weaving and materials used from the Hausas' turbans and robes (who were into this about 200 years before the Yorubas). The Hausas learnt it from Mali's Bogolanfini and Mande cloth, who learnt it from the North Africans Berber and Tuareg cloth. The actual origin was traced to Egyptian clothings from 1000BC. The Yorubas then passed it on to Ashanti in Ghana (Kente cloth) after about 200 years. At the end of the day, it's a borrowed culture. This is made possible due to the Trans-Saharan trade route and spread of Islam plied by the craft artisans while migrating. And, it's Igbos

From the comments I am seeing here, is it that some people do not expect Israel to improve their defence systems? This is hilarious🤣🤣 |
And if a complication arises from this, what exactly will I tell the doctor that I drank? If there is complication after taking malaria drug, I can point to the company and it can be tracked using the batch number. If there is complications from this concoction which I prepared myself, what exactly will I tell the doctor when I come in as an emergency case? I'm skeptical about herbs that the active ingredients and it's measurement, potency, and side effects are not clearly spelt out; a lot can go wrong. |
My best friend bought a land in Lagos and shared the news with me. I just encouraged him for the move; it's a great one. He then told me they have other empty plots around too in case I was interested. I just shook my head at that. If I even see opportunity to dispose the ones already at hand, I may even consider that because the terrain isn't all that favourable to us from down East like that. It's a tricky decision for now. |
Two truths can co-exist. It is also said that Abiola had a deal with Abacha to come in through the back door, as an alternative to being democratically elected. “I was returning from one of such trips to a prominent Emir one afternoon when I heard from my car radio Chief Abiola calling on General Abacha to come and ease Chief Shonekan as he eased out Babangida, I was shocked.Ladies and Gentlemen, your Hero of Democracy!

UpaIweka:Lord have mercy! Peter Obi prioritizes self restraint and education as a role model to ensure that no one is denied the right to be heard. If only most principals have followed suit because some saw the rise of social misfits and street urchins. |
Who produced these images? The U.S? If that is the case, then the Iranians should be concerned. |
No matter how them try, dem no fit bend truth. Did the Igbos suddenly become literate in their youth? Una for try dey rest. This one no agend well.

Welcome to Nigeria, where incompetence is rewarded with a permanent residence. In 2021, she missed the Tokyo Olympics 200m because Nigeria failed to get her tested in time. No one was punished. In 2024, Nigerian failed to enter her name for the Paris event after she met the 100m standard. Again, heads did not roll. I remember her in tears after being dumped out of the 2024 competition. It is only fair that she chases her dreams elsewhere, if possible.

sammirano:Are you aware that the reason you're probably posting about this is because Summertime started today, June 21st and will continue until mid September. The break and coaching fall in this period. |
State of Emergency loading.. Oh wait! It's an APC state. All is well. |
StreetFight:Between this, and the loss of a human life in a state over terrorism within the country borders, which looks like the actual instability the Senator is referring to? Sycophancy is no decent paid employment. |
Sharp! How does this benefit the oil spillage-ravaged communities in the nearest future though? That's the most important aspect. |
Never though Yoruba Muslims was a thing. Weird to see that it's actually a real thing. 🤣 |
A psychologically safe work environment is non-negotiable. I work in a private secondary school as a Vice Principal (Academics). One of my sworn duty is to absorb pressure from the management and make things easier on the teachers. |
Tychost:Ah! That's actually correct when it comes down to hard numbers. Sorry, I didn't do the actual calculation but your point makes sense. South South would have been a good example too but their high oil and gas activity muddles things up. My intention was just to show that VAT payment by businesses is not as straightforward as it looks on paper. Thanks for this perspective. |
Arlee:From @Statisense handle. If there's any other site that curates diverse statistics across different subject for Nigeria, I'll very much like to know. Thanks. |
