PHYSICS the grand master and father of science is not on your list. People make first class in Engineering, law and others. Have you met a first class in physics? If you have friends or family member doing physics ask them |
Thumbs up to you guys. This soldier guys treated us batch B as if we were being trained to fight in Sambisa. |

Hello fellow Nairalanders, Please, I need someone to help me answer my questions in plain english. What school can one apply for Geophysics, Petroleum physics or any related course as my first degree is Industrial physics? I will be very grateful to see someone help. Thanks |
oklinks:There was one that had wanted to vie for governorship position in the state of Akwa-Ibom. The people of the state that constitute majority kick against it, they were fast to tag him Ijaw and made him look like an outcast. The Eastern Obolo of Akwa-Ibom state has been marginalized from time immemarial. Mr. ITbomb, how then do you want them to relate politically considering the aforementioned reasons? Akwa-Ibom state makes money from their land based on oil revenue, their land is devastated, yet they keep them underdevelop. |
XerXesNG: How did you get notified about it? Please kindly tell. I need to know if mine worked or not.It was a text message from NYSC Kebbi state. |
Good News! Good News! Good News! I have just been relocated from Kebbi to my choice location. This is to say thank you Kebbi state, thank you Argungu and thank you fellow corps members for the opportunity. It was the longest road distance I ever travelled. It will ever remain fresh in my memory. That over 800KM journey really made me realise how Nigeria my country is in terms of land mass and facilities. Thanks once again and success as u serve in Kebbi state Nigeria. |
We were forced to pay N 1,700 for documentation to the Zonal Inspector and Local Inspector. He brought a bank called UBA, the bank charged us 2,00 naira to open an account for corps members. 1700 + 2000 = 3700 All this happened in Kebbi State, Argungu Local Government Area. People travelling to Southern Nigeria and far North eastern Nigeria were stranded after paying such an enormous sum of money because of a greedy Zonal Inspector. How I wish I can do something, from the head to tail is corrupt. How do I fight this greedy old fools? |
Please, I need someone to help me with info concerning redeployment. Those of us that tried redeployment process in Camp and fail. How long does it take to be redeploy from your place of PPA? Is it possible for a Batch B 2014 to be redeploy within 3 weeks after camp? I heard you must stay in your PPA for atleast 3 months before one can be redeploy? I need this info, thanks as I await a positive responses. |

Anyone serving in Argungu? |
yorex2011: Yh... There presentlyI like your patriotism and loyalty to National Service. |
I don't have an existing one. How do u intend to help me? |
yorex2011: Ggss augie?Are you staying? |
I did everything but was not redeployed rather I was posted to Government Girls Science School Argungu to teach. There is accommodation in the school but staying in that Argungu is one big task for me. I pray the redeployment works. Fellow Kebbi state corp member, how about yours? |
The lecture pains me to my bone marrows, how can someone sit for over 5 hours stretch everyday listening to some crapy boring lectures. As for staying here, I say big NO to it. Everything here appears outside down to me. |
I am in the camp here now, its a brand new camp built by the State Government and we're the first set to use the facility. By Nigeria standard, the camp is very good. The Telecommunication network here is very poor as GPRS can disappear for even a whole day. Also, the military drills is too much as one hardly have time for himself. I heard the weather is too extreme that we're very lucky to have been here this raining season. This is complete desert, a land locked. From here to Niger Republic is just 500 Nigeria currency as I was told. When the Re-deployment form came out yesterday, over 90% picked the form. I wonder if NYSC can relocate such a large sum. Competition for re-deployment is damn high here. I pray I succeed too. I would've love to post photo of the camp, but I can't due to crapy network service here. |
Cutekemitola: yeah,I knw...wuld av gone but I just can't,I knw myself....it is better for me to wait, anyways safe journeyThanks and success to you too |
XerXesNG: Desertboom if you're coming from the east, that's a good option. That's what I'll do too. But if I get to Abuja early enough today, I'll push forward a bit. Maybe go to ninja or even as far as Kotangora both in Niger. So the journey on Tuesday won't be so long. Because Abuja to Dakingari is still probably about 6-8 hours depending on the condition of the road which I do not know.I've not gotten my statement of result and call-up yet. If I get it today, I'll join bus tomorrow morning but if its tomorrow I'll have to fly in order to meet up. Hoping to meet you all in Camp Dakingari. |
@Cutekemitola. . . Why waste your time waiting for November when there is option B, being redeployment to your choice location. Time waits for no one, make use of this opportunity. I did not want to go too considering my location. I realise from Owerri here to Kebbi will take me nothing less than 20 hours. Again, the weather condition is very harsh all most all over North-West Nigeria. Well, I decided to take it as an adventure atleast I will get to know another far end point of Nigeria called Kebbi. Therefore, you too can take such a bold step. @everyone. . . . I intend stoping at Abuja and lodge in a hotel to enable me continue the next day as I can not sit for 20 hours at a stretch. Could there be a better option than this? |
