Your visa chance is based on your circumstances and evidence of home ties.
Also note that you will not be getting a post graduate work visa if you are over 35 except you are coming in for Masters of Research or Ph.D.
After carefully examining my situation and profile, I’ve finally ditched Australia for Canada. I love Australia, but I have to think about my survival first.
Thanks

You shouldn't have a problem with MSc of research. But you can also try the skill route if studies isn't gonna work for you.
The MSc programme I secured is not by research. I just want to know my chances of visa success

I don't think age impacts your chance of student visa. One of the downside, however, is that you will not qualify for the temporary graduate visa (visa 485) after graduation, if you studied a Masters by coursework, due to age. If your study is a Masters by Research or PhD, you will be eligible for visa 485 so far you are not above 50.

Also, at that age (35), you may have a study gap (i.e., the time you completed your BSc may be long ago). You have to be able to justify any study gap (eg, show evidence of work, etc., during this period). So, at that age, MSc by coursework is not recommended. You can opt for a MSc by Research, to qualify for the visa 485 after graduation.

I hope this helps to some extent. You can get more information from https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/student-500
Thank you so much

Loan?

How? Who provides the loan? Is there a financial body to provide loan?

Please, how can I benefit? Kindly make me understand

Changes will apply from 23/03/2024 and yes immigration rules have tightened.
Bro... I have listening 5.5 reading 5.5 writing 6 and speaking 7. Altogether band 6. I hope this is enough to process student visa. I got admission since last year and English was waived.

I had to write IELTS last month because of the proposed rule. I hope 6 is good for visa application. It's post graduate studies

My people, I lost my Redmi 11pro phone. When I log in to my Redmi iCloud I can only see the current device that I'm using because I bought the same exact phone again.

How can I track my previous device. I have the phone pack with me.

Is there other ways to track it. Thanks

Australia has recently updated its visa requirements for students. Now, it is mandatory to submit IELTS scores, and achieving good grades is essential for most courses. https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/news-media/archive/article?itemId=1153
Must one submit IELTS during VISA processing or it's just a requirement for admission purposes because I've already secure admission before this new rule.
Kindly clarify, thanks.

Someone said Form A is still active but not at subsidized rate anymore. I know the current official rate is at 800 naira per dollar.

Is it possible to use Form A at the moment? I am not in a hurry, even if it takes 3 months

Fam, is 8million naira enough to get into Australia for a masters degree program? that's my life savings.
I doubt if that will be enough. Average tuition deposit is at AUD15,000 for most level 2 university.

In naira it's close to 12million naira according to exchange rate today. Bear in mind, it's only tuition deposit. You'll need proof of funds and other logistics.

You may need to hustle more or try some other countries

Can someone recommend one?

1. Obtain a letter from your school confirming that English was the medium of instruction. Additionally, include your CV with your application and secure a letter from your workplace verifying that English is the primary language of communication. Hopefully, your school will recognize these documents as sufficient evidence of your proficiency. However, there's a chance you might still be asked to take an English test to ensure there are no communication barriers. Note that in some instances, visa officers may request an English test result even if the educational institution doesn't require one. If you're able to take the English test, I'd recommend doing so. If that's not feasible, then proceed with the aforementioned documents.

2.Visit the ANZSCO website to explore potential career paths from either of those studies and to assess if they might offer a pathway to permanent residency."
Thanks for your response. Do you mean IELTS is a requirement as part of VISA processing to Australia?
