GavelSlam: Ekpoma is an agrarian community.
Food is cheaper there than most parts of the country.
The people don't eat imported rice because their local variety is not only more accessible but more delicious.
When would you accept that the average Nigerian is a savage?
When would you realise the country you live in is what you make of it? Food is not cheap in Ekpoma and many rural settlement in Nigeria again. I'm not justifying stealing but the reality is what you are seeing on that video. Hunger In as much as I blame the people, the greater blame goes to the Government of the day. Food price is too high in today's Nigeria. There's need to subsidize food and promote agriculture. You banned rice when you don't have enough to go round. You banned tomatoes when you don't have enough to go round. Very soon it will be humans eating humans |

What do you expect? There's hunger in the land. Nigeria is more like a jungle where the strongest survive.
What do you expect when rice is seen as achievement. Just a big is hight as 40,000.
What do you expect from hungry and angry population.
Stealing of food like rice, garri, tomatoes, onions and co will soon be on the rise.
How can a Government make food too expensive for it's citizens yet salary is poor
What do you expect when a bag of rice is higher than minimum wage?
What do you expect? They've killed Nigerians conscience because of hunger.
What do you expect when nobody cares, everybody is blaming each other.
Please, what do you expect? |
