Did you submit birth certificate of both of you showing that you share the same parents, did you submit any documents of your parents maybe NIN or international passport, did you show any previous expenses he has done for you as a support? Any old pictures together with your brother and members of your family?

In my previous application, I submitted just my brother international passport.. but for this current application...I added his attestation of birth and age declaration and also recent pic of both of us( could not find any childhood picture of us)
And for the commitment part, I added a gift deed , I think I should add one or two money transaction he has assisted me with in the past,
And please, what is your take concerning the different bank statement used in the previous application and this current application..first application was fedility bank with 15m, this current application is his GT account with 13m.

Last year I applied for my study visa and got a refusal in December and the refusal based on gcms note was due to lack of proof of relationship/commitment from my sponsor,my sponsor is my elder bro tho he already paid my tuition deposit of 11500CAD.. it's a 2 year program costing about 37k for the two years.
As at when I applied last year, I used my brother (sponsor) fedility bank statement having closing bal of 15m.
Now I am about to apply for September intake,now i am using his GT bank statement and his closing balance is 13m, my fear now is wont a change of bank be a red flag becos I used his fedility bank last year which had 15m and now I am using his GT bank statement with has 13m as closing bal(both of his bank acc are his personal acc). wont the change in bank and the different closing bal of last year which was 15m and this year which is 13m be a red flag
Though my sponsor has enough properties to back his finances up as his the owner of a contracting firm in nigeria and also a lecturer in the UK owing 3C OF Os of landed properties and 3 heavy duty trucks and 3private vehicles.. Acc statement was not an issue in my first application.. was just proof of relationship/ commitments from my sponsor.. this time around, I added my sponsor attestation of birth(was absent in the first application) added his int.passport and a gift deed of 3m from him and also a recent pic of both of us.
Please please I need urgent answers

So I am using my elder brother as my sponsor, he uses the account for daily transactions, the total debit from the account in 4months is about 60million, his bank account has been very active for the past 4 months its his personal savings account but there is no tangible amount in the account as at last week and money started rolling in this week in bits like 2.5m 3m 2.5m to get to a tangible balance before I apply in two weeks time.. would this be a red flag or it's ok?

Does the mybank statement (MBS) show only the duration of months you want? Or will the visa officer be able to view entire history of the bank account?

Ordered gcms note and My first denial reason was a result of lack of proof of relationship between myself and my sponsor. My sponsor is my elder brother.
This time around.. I added notarized affidavit of relationship, notarized gift deed of 3m, my brother attestation of birth and age declaration and one recent pic of i and my sponsor together.
My fears now is that I am using another bank statement of my elder brother (sponsor) and the account statement pages for 4months are about 80pages, is the account statement pages of 80pages too much? Would it b a red flag or would it be ok.. I need ur urgent responses pls.

Hello,

Yes, I understand that sometimes, theses visa offers can be so overdoing, but please note it that it isn't just about submitting loads of documents. Sometimes, some documents we submit causes the reasons for our refusals.

When it comes to purpose of visit and proof of funds. Applicants should be mindful of submitting ambiguous docs that will warrant the visa officer to puncture a hole of doubt in their claims.

So for every docs one submits, he/she should provide an air tight explanation and not just bogus claims.

Somebody mentioned showing shares he/she has in his/her company.

Imagine saying you have shares in company called XXXXX and sons limited, not known in the Nigeria/world (that is not a known established) without a share certificate or providing a concocted statement that isn't from the CAC board of directors share allocations documents. Please I used your comment just for reference purposes and didn't mean to say anything wrong.

So let's all be mindful of bogus claims. Always make our application air tight and provide verifiable docs as backup.

My elder brother was my sponsor,and I used his personal account for SOA, and I am a share holder in company,my name is among the directors in the company and all cac,tax clearance,every single document showing the company is real and active company with sales invoice and receipt were submitted.. it was no just a claim because proof were submitted,I own 10percent of shares in the company and it's in the company documentation.. everything I submitted were backup with verified document to proof. I just still wonder why the refusal,I have ordered cbsa note already tho,I await

Please new member to this thread. Couple of quick questions:-
1. Is there any disadvantage to applying for study permit using admission gotten from a private university?
I’m worried that Visa Officers may not be too inclined to hand out visas for not well known private schools in Canada. (FYI the school name is CIMT College).

2. I want to apply for a Post Graduate Diploma in that same school for my cousin. In your experience, Is PGD still considered viable for study permit purposes? I know one can still apply for study permit with PGD admission, but I’d like to know, as at today, is more preference given to masters applicants than PGD applicants?

Don't apply TO CMIT, The courses they offer are not PGWR Eligible.. don't apply. Except u plan to go back to Nigeria immediately you complete your studies in CIMIT

I just ordered for CBSA note because I don't understand why they would refuse my application,I submitted loads of documents,I even own shares in my sponsors company,what other financial assets they want to see again.. Omo it's tiring

I just got refused,I applied October 18,,the reason for the refusal was
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay Based on;
Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for.yourself
