We thought that we had finally gotten an updated thread about Swedish admissions and student visa until the the OP was involved in copy right controversy that led to the thread being deleted.

In the hope to keep the journey alive, admission decisions have been released today 9th April, 2021 and our people can share their experiences here.

As for me, I received admission to my first ranked school, Umea University MSc in Accounting while other choices were automatically deleted.

To also add, did your wife write a supporting letter considering it’s a joint account, more like to show that It was a decision between you both ans you can access the money. If you did that the. There’s no other BUT I can think of. Well till your notes are out, I pray it’s not that our Officer.

Bro they are actually blind ooo, me that I was refused based on home ties. I showed enough document with pictures to show that I am married and I am leaving my spouse and baby behind. I have applied applied for gcms and still expecting it tho.

hmm, maybe recheck your financial documents and such, also emphasize that you have family in nigeria you will want to go back to and other ties to make you come back.

Hi, please don't be tensed. I had review required on my GCMS notes and i finally on PPR in September. Just keep praying. It shall end in praise.

Application Submitted - March 16,
Biometrics Request Letter - March 17
Biometrics Passed - March 22
Upfront Medicals - May 11
Upfront Medicals Passed - May 19
Correspondence Letter - September 2
PPR - September 27

NB: Prior to my PPR I had applied for GCMS notes three times. The first two were empty while the last came in with “Recommend Interview” as the eligibility status.

September 16, I emailed MP and she came back to me on September 17 that my application had passed the requirements. At this point, I knew my PPR was coming

PPR: 27th September 2021

1. Copy of Applicant’s Siblings Birth certificates.
2. University's Unconditional Official Letter of Admission.
3. Copy of Applicant's Birth Certificate,
4. Copy of Police Character Certificate
5. WAEC
6. Copy of Applicant’s International Passport Biodata page,
7. Copy of Applicant's family picture
8. NYSC discharge certificate
9. Degree certificate
10. ICAN Final Results as I am yet to be inducted
11. Transcripts
12. Deed of gift documents for a landed property from my dad
13. IELTS Certificate.
14. Study leave approval letter 
15. Work ID
16. Resume
18. MBS of about CAD 49k (Self- Sponsored)
19. Letter of Acceptance
20. Employment and Promotion Letters
21. School Fees Receipt (Paid for only a semester)
22. SOP of about 5 pages


God pass IRCC. The wait was crazy, it took over 6 months

- Eligibility review started: August 12
- GCMS Note : Ordered 3 times, the last one stated “Recommend Interview” for my eligibility status
- Correspondence letter: September 2
- Emailed MP and the response was that my application has passed the requirements and awaiting final documentation
- I keep sending reminder emails to Nairobi everyday

Still No PPR letter yet.

I asked them at Zenith if they can make a transfer from a Naira account, they said no. I can't use my GTBank savings account, as that's the one I intend to submit to IRCC.

Review Required

Your file is probably awaiting final review by a senior officer. You should be fine if there are no discrepancies in your IMM Forms.

If your eligibility is passed/met, then the RR was probably a note by an analyst and an officer has reviewed the analyst's comments and subsequently passed you. If eligibility is passed, you're probably all good. If not passed, you should be hopeful
