Don't use your company account as POF, it's better used as home ties. Ideally, company money isn't your money so using it means misappropriation/embezzlement.

You can have someone transfer amounts regular to the amount you usually receive in your GTB account and build your available balance so you'll use it as POF.

Set aside money monthly for yourself as salary from your company account. This serves as source of income and home ties.

Don't be ashamed of the 120k salary, include it as proof of funds. Just ensure you pay yourself like 400-500k monthly from your company account as salary so your monthly income would be over 1000 CAD conveniently.

Don't rush your application, plan your account for minimum of 4 months to avoid unexplained lump sums.

Please I am at crossroads as regards The explanation of my proof of funds aspect of my Canadian Study journey(1yr PGD).

I am applying as a self-funded person, as nobody in my family bears the same surname as I do.

I have 3 options and I would love to get inputs and help consider the best one I can make use of.

The first one is my Company account. I majorly trade p2p deals on whatsApp, I also help with gadget procurements on eBay(which I also facilitate via whatsApp, no receipts). So my major issue is how to prove receipts and all.
The total debit and credit(turnover) on this account is over 300m over the past year. The current balance on this account is about 2m. Someone is willing to help add about 3m to the company which will be there throughout the duration of the PoF.
I have the CAC certificate. The main issue I have with this is that I do not have any receipt of transactions I have done with this account. The only thing I have is about 3-4 invoices which were used to make payment into my company account.

The second one is that I have discussed with someone I know and he is willing to assist me with the Proof of Funds for the timeframe required. This will be deposited in a savings account created for me, and I will top up the account from time to time.

The third one is my GTBank personal account whose total Debit and credit is over 50m over the past 1 year. Although the current balance is about 1m or thereabout.

I just started work this January and my salary is 120k/mo, which does not allow me use salary as a basis for gathering Proof of Funds

I would like your input on the best combination of options I should make use of, and how best I can structure my Statement of Purpose to explain my Proof of funds, and also a way I can link my business to my home ties.

According to IRCC, anyone who plans to stay in Canada beyond 6 months need to have valid medical report before entering Canada.

You already got your passport stamped and returned right? How does medicals come in again? IRCC is done with you. If they needed you to update it then you wouldn’t have gotten PPR and you don’t need medicals to travel... you have your visa already

The person I know also received this paper but his visa status is showing "Refused" and last updated date was the day of interview

They have also sent a mail that DHL has picked up the passport. It's really upsetting and unsettling.

thats what we received. she took our passports and gave us the i20 saying we should show that at the port of entry... didn't receive any supplemental questions email... its saying administrative processing for my husband and I but my daughter's own has been issued and we have picked it up...

Been following this page, it's been indeed helpful for my B1/B2 visa interview, which held last friday. I have an issue, which I wish to know if anyone has encountered.

I was given a white paper, after my visa interview which i attended as a family with my Mum. The VO informed us that our application had been approved and we should expect to pick up the passport in abuja in a few days.

Subsequently i received an email with a notice to collect my mums Passport at DHL but did not get any notice email for mine.I decide to check the visa status of both mine and mum. Her visa status is ISSUED but mine says Administrative Processing, Last updated a day after the successful interview.

This is not my first US visa, but its the first time i have encountered this issue. Please, what does this mean? Does it mean the decision has changed from the Interview, Do I still have a chance? Or is it a denial?

For the interview, the transcript is as follows:

VO: Good morning and please pass me your passport .

Me/Mum: Good morning (Hands over docs).

VO: Takes Biometrics for Both of Us.

VO: I can see you are The Mum.

Mum: Yes sir.

VO: She is your Mum
Me: Yes Please,

VO: Where do you work
Me/Mum: I am a Civil Servant At the Central Bank, I work at The Bureau of Public Enterprise

VO: Do you have other children

Mum: Yes sir.I have 3 other children all in school. 2 in the USA and 1 in High School.

Me: I intend to travel in the summer for a short holiday and to visit my 2 kids in the process.

VO: Begins typing for a few minutes (nodes, brings out a white paper ) your visa application is good to go and has been approved. We will send you a mail inq couple of days when to pick up your passport when visa is issued.

Me/Mum: Thank you sir.

Don’t worry yourself, just be patient.
It’s just 2 days since the interview. In my case, did interview on Monday, got notification on Friday. Another notification on Sunday that it was with DHL

You'll put the summation of school fees paid (if any), GIC (if any) and the balance on the bank statements you provided.

Remember to convert the naira to CAD

I once asked this question but got an ambiguous answer.
The section for tuition, what if the applicant has already paid 10,000cad out of 18,000cad. What will be written on the tuition section?
The balance of the tuition or the original tuition? Gurus Pls throw more light

A lawyer is not above the law.

If you don't want to sue him, you can go on with your UCI number and application number. That's all you need to reapply or find out what happened (order your GCMS notes)

Of course he can't give you log in details to his IRCC profile.
You can send webforms and mails though if you have your application number and UCI.

Licensed agents hardly raise webforms and the rest, mine didn't upload my medicals, he said the hospital will forward to IRCc and IRCC will update.


My advice, don't bother yourself about trying to see the progress of the whole thing, it can be depressing, do other things.

Exactly, that’s the issue with mine too. He is a licensed agent and he has refused to give me login details said he has other people application there too. And he is not even bothered with the delay in my application. So like this I can’t send mails or webcam to ircc because I don’t even have any of my information

Please in a situation whereby appointment for biometrics was booked twice by one applicant. What is the best way to be attended to by vfs for biometrics?
As the applicant was not attended to on the scheduled date to be captured and was told they would have to contact IRCC before she can be captured, as a result of her booking twice.
It's been over a months now and no feedback has been gotten. Several webforms has also been raised.
Is it advisable to just withdraw the application and reapply again or just wait for a feedback from IRCC @makano @omiinii @frankrobbn1 @anon123 @destinationcann @centennialguy

Lawyer or licensed agent?
If you used a licensed agent, you cannot get a login details to your application.

He definitely used his IRCC portal that has several other applications on it.

It's possible if you book your biometrics appointment for 8am and you get there early. Biometrics is usually less than 1hr once you get into the building.

Medicals takes about 5hrs but you can get there before 10-11 and still meet up. Once you gain Access into the building, they won't close till the last person comes out.

Only thing you should consider is the time required to move from biometrics center to hospital for medicals. If it's Lagos, you know you people's traffic is a big problem . Abuja people can try it without having HBP.

Remember to book both biometrics and medical appointments before going there.

Why doesn't your dad want to sponsor you?
It'll have been sweeter if you use your dad as sponsor then he transfers money to you for school fees and then you pay school fees from it. That way, commitment of sponsor is established.

Drop your USA Aunty, use your dad as sponsor. It's not like she's dropping money.
