A man, who confessed to newsmen that he was ‘flying’ from Benin Airport, Edo State, to attend a meeting in the United Kingdom, before watching a football match going on simultaneously in the coven, also in the United Kingdom, was, yesterday, discovered at Ajogodo River, Sapele, Delta State. The self-confessed wizard said: “I was flying in with what is known in the physical realm as ‘Plantain Leaf,’ but it is actually my expensive private jet in the coven realm. “It crashed me into this bridge, when the fuel in it finished. A 20-year-old man identified as Emmanuel Effiong has said he beheaded a woman at the Aba park on the instructions of a mad woman, who allegedly advised him to throw a human head into a river or he would go mad. “I gave a mad woman money one day in Aba and she told me to look for a skull or human head and throw inside a river or I will go mad. “One morning, when I saw a lifeless body in front of the park, I decided to cut off the dead woman’s head for the exercise. I threw the head into the Aba River to remain a normal person,” he said. Effiong made the confession while in the custody of the police. He had been arrested by police operatives in Aba, Abia State in connection with a threat to kidnap and kill one Ikechukwu Udogu. It was gathered that the search for Effiong started when the police got the information that an unknown person, through a phone text, threatened to kill one Udogu, if he failed to pay him a N15m ransom. It was learnt that police operatives attached to the Central Police Station, Aba, swung into action and arrested the suspect with the mobile phone number used in sending the threat message. The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Adeleye Oyabade, who confirmed the arrest of the suspect, said he confessed to the crime. Oyebade added that the suspect also confessed that he was behind the headless woman found on September 29, 2016 at the Aba main motor park. He said three knives and a phone were recovered from the suspect, adding that investigation was in progress to unravel the mystery behind the dastardly act. Speaking with Southern City News,Effiong, who said he hails from Ikot Edet in Akwa Ibom State, accepted that he demanded the ransom from Udogu for refusing to pay him his salary since September 2009. He said, “I served Mr. Udogu for many years as his gateman, but he stopped paying my salary since September 2009. The 28-year-old father initially denied posting the ad and claimed his phone went missing before it went live but following a probe into the listing, police said the girl’s father admitted that he was responsible and gave investigators the mobile phone he used to access eBay. He, however, claimed he did it for a joke. After raiding her parents’ apartment in Duisburg, Western Germany, officers placed the child into care. Police described the family as refugees, but did not give further details. In a statement, a spokesman for eBay said the site removed the listing as soon as it came to light. He said: “We received a lot of complaints from users and we immediately pursued the matter. In such a case, we provide the authorities with all available information. Meet a newborn who looks like an 80-year-old man because he has a rare case of progeria which has causes him to age quickly. Born in Magura, Bangladesh, he has wrinkles, hollow eyes, a shrunken body and a thick layer of hair on his back. The condition – which affects just one in four million – often restricts children from having a normal life and causes their body to age faster than it should. A doctor, who had been treating him, said the baby does not look like a new born at all, because of the prominent sings of ageing such a excessive wrinkles and rough skin texture. This notwithstanding, his parents are over the moon with the birth of their ‘miracle’ child and can’t hold back their happiness. Download and transfer the SuperSU zip file from the download link above to your device’s storage. Boot your device into TWRP recovery. Tap on “Install” and select the SuperSU zip file that you transferred to your device in Step 1. After selecting the .zip file, do “Swipe to Confirm Flash” on the bottom of screen to begin the flashing process. Once SuperSU is flashed, you’ll get “Reboot System” option, select it. That’s all. LG is unveiling the first phone to ship with Google's new Android Nougat software, in hopes of appealing to people who like to take and share photos and video. The new V20 phone comes on the eve of a San Francisco event where Apple is expected to launch new iPhones. Nougat is already available as a free upgrade on some Google phones under the Nexus brand. The V20 would be the first with Nougat already installed. Other phones aren't likely to get Nougat for a while because individual phone makers and wireless carriers have to tweak and test the new software first. Many of the Android improvements in Nougat are "under the hood" and thus largely invisible, such as tweaks to reduce battery consumption and cellular data use. The most obvious changes include the ability to run two apps side by side, something Samsung and LG have offered on their phones on a limited basis. Nougat will also let people reply to messages within notifications, something Apple already offers on iPhones. Meanwhile, the V20 promises higher-quality audio playback and recording, with reduced background noise, according to LG. The company also says it also improved image stabilization when recording video. LG spokesman Frank Lee described the V20's target audience as "storytellers." Like LG's G5 phone, which it released in April, the V20 will have two lenses on the main camera -- one for regular pictures and one with a wide angle to capture more of the scene. Unlike many other top-line phones, the V20 features a replaceable battery. The V20 is expected in South Korea this month, with other markets, including the U.S., to follow.
