Then change to Nigeria and try again, if it d work, you'll need to download an older version of developer rom on same miui version of your current rom. Forgot about this totally, that's why the rom you downloaded didn't work for you.

Have you changed region before? Check. Settings - Additional settings - Region. You can change it to Indian and try and search for update via updater.

Sir, The region is Indian since i bought d phone. I hav tried update via updater several Tim oo it show no update available.

Follow the steps below, and ensure that your phone is indeed Redmi note 5a prime.

Just download and flash manually. But if you'll have to unlock bootloader if you want to return to stable rom

You can go installed apps> poco launcher. Then clear cache or data

Change ur region to Indian. Wen u change ur font make sure u reboot ur phone immediately.

My RN5 fell in a bucket of water yesterday and I got it out immediately (after about 2 seconds) and had it switched off, dried out, had all the holes up & down checked, redried in d sun BUT I still have this water patch on the bottom right corner of the screen (not really conspicuous though) Since I brought the phone out of the rice container this morning (switched off) it's been fine but sometimes the back botton and the mainscreen button at the center of the phone don't respond.
I'm thinking of opening up the phone myself to dry up the inner components to see if it would help. Thanks.

Wen my Redmi Note5A Prime felled into water i did not dry it or but it into sack of rice i just wiped it with cloth. On the 3rd day water patch appear at d middle of d screen but no negative effect on my phone 3rd day later the water patch disappear/dry up by itself still now am enjoying my phone with no bad effect.

Mine still charged full within 2hours so i don't have prob with charging the issue is battery drain faster than usual.

@ Sir grandmufti, Gptech, eleojo23, ifedith, nobody, kindly my Redmi Note 5A prime since i update to 9.5.9.0 stable have not receive any update again no issue at all but battery drain faster than b4 to extent i charge my phone twice daily despite on normal usage( no gaming, just chatting, nairaland & watch film)
