The blues were held to a goalless draw on Tuesday night by Dynamo Kyiv at Olimpisky National Sports Complex in the Champions League groupstage.

Bayern Munich's journey to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night ahead of their Champions League group-stage game against Arsenal got off to a bumpy start, when the club's team bus reversed into a parked car.

After rumours of the incident began to spread on social media, Bayern's press office confirmed that the team's transport had indeed experienced a minor traffic- related mishap.

Thankfully, however, no players or passers-by were injured.

Witnesses who claimed to be on the scene at the time of the crash said that Bayern manager Pep Guardiola exited the vehicle to inspect the damage.

The Gunners have lost their first two group-stage games in Europe this season against Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos, making the clash in north London a hugely important fixture in deciding whether they progress to the competition's knockout round.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes his team are still capable of winning four trophies this season despite their poor start to the season.

No team in English football has ever won a quadruple, which is winning the Champions League, the League, the FA Cup and the League Cup but the Portuguese tactitian believes it is possible this season.

"We can win all four, Everything is open - we are only in October," Mourinho told reporters ahead of their Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev.

"It is possible. To win all four trophies is something really amazingly difficult. The difference between challenging for the title and for the top four is not so big. I don't know if there is a margin for error. We go with everything all the way and let's see."

Chelsea have won three, drawn two and lost four of their nine Premier Leauge.

Mourinho was handed a one-game ban with a fine of £50,000 by the FA after he criticised referee Robert Madley and declared officials are "afraid" to give Chelsea penalties.

Chelsea will host Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League tonight.

Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat says his side has nothing to lose against Manchester United but will try to hurt them a bit and give them a really tough time.

Sunderland sit bottom of the Premier League ahead of clash with United, without a win in six league games.

"Normally United would beat us but we can give them a really tough time. That will happen, you will see," said Advocaat, who did concede a draw would be "a great result".

"You have nothing to lose against United and if we are well organised, and try to hurt them a bit, then why not?

"Against City we created three or four chances and a little bit the same against Spurs. We will have opportunities to score."

Dick Advocaat and van Gaal had played together at Sparta Rotterdam during their playing days.

He added:
"He's one of the best coaches in the world, no doubt about that. He has worked at the highest levels in Europe.

Former Juventus defender Lillian Thuram has pleaded with Juventus fans to give the Bianconeri time.

The Frenchman cited the departure of Juventus key players which includes Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Angelo Ogbonna as the cause of the poor start.

“They’ve lost several very important players, and you have to give them time to start again with new players,” Thuram told assembled media.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is optimistic that he will not be sacked and insist he will do his best to get the needed results.

Liverpool has won just three games from eight matches in all competitions this season.

Former Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti, have been linked with the Merseyside club.

"There's always going to be speculation around your job," Rodgers told reporters this morning.

"Since I've been here, there's probably been 10 managers linked with the job.

"I have regular contact with the owners and the relationship has always been strong. If I'm here for one more day, one month or one year, I'll always do my very best to get results. I enjoy the pressure of the challenge."

"My time here has been really enjoyable, and I hope it can continue to be that," he added.

"I want to ensure I'm here for a long period. I'll do my best to prepare my players to play exciting, dynamic football, and win games."

"I know we need to get results and I embrace that challenge," he said.

"I'm a much better manager than three years ago.

"The message (to fans) is to stay with the team. It only takes a couple of results. One win and you're back in the top four."

La Liga president Javier Tebas can not imagine the Spanish Premera Division without Catalonia.

Tebas earlierly confirmed that Barcelona and Espanyol would not be able to compete in La Liga if Catalonia gains independence.

League President Tebas was speaking at La Liga’s General Assembly and the topic of Catalan independence was raised again.

“We all lose [in a League without Catalonia]. If Spain separates, if Catalonia leaves Spain everyone loses,” he said, AS reports.

“These projects are centuries old and will generate a lot of trauma.

“I’ve not imagined a League without the Catalan clubs. The majority of Spaniards have a say about Catalonia. It’s a national League because it’s for the whole of Spain.

“We haven’t discussed the issue of independence because it’s a sensitive issue and we didn’t talk about it at the Assembly.

“I haven’t thought about La Liga without Barca. I don’t think it will happen because Catalonia is part of Spain.

“A Catalan club couldn’t play in La Liga [if independence is achieved] because it would be prohibited by the Sports Act.”

AC Milan captain Riccardo Montolivo praised Mario Balotelli for his matured behavior in 3-2 victory over Udinese on tuesday night despite rough treatment from Udinese defenders.

Mario Balotelli opened his second Rossoneri goal account with a free-kick in the 5th minute of the game.

“I told him to prove that he’s changed, not with talk,” Montolivo told Premium Sport.

Inter midfielder Felipe Melo has insisted that critics does not concern him.

The Brazilian has been criticized for his rough style of play both in club and country.

Melo, 32, scored the winner against Verona last night to make sure Inter remain at top of the table.

“Verona are physically strong, they’re all tall and they got men behind the ball,” Melo reflected in an interview with Inter Channel.

“We worked well, and it wasn’t easy. I thank God for the ball that came to me, it was a bit lucky, but it’s already in the past and now we’re thinking about Fiorentina on Sunday.

“The criticism? I don’t care, I go on my way with faith in God. The more others talk, the more I go forward. If this helps me to score then fine, if a striker like Icardi scores then I’ll be happy just the same.

In 2010 FIFA World Cup quarter final match between Brazil and the Netherlands, Melo was then sent off in the 73rd minute for a violent stamp on Dutch winger Arjen Robben.
