tejaf05: Hi, I have a couple of questions please and I apologize in advance if it has been answered in any of the threads.
1. Does the blocked account need to be funded before you go for your interview. Would the application be rejected if not 2. What information do you need from the bank you use for blocked account 3. Is it possible to submit your passport after your interview or you must submit it on the day of your interview 4. Can you please share possible interview questions 1. You can attend your interview without funding. If you've gone through people's transcripts here, many go without funding, and they were told to forward the funding confirmation ASAP. Some even get AM without funding, and they submit the confirmation alongside their passport before visa is issued. 2. Go to playstore and download Fintiba app. Register for a blocked account via fintiba basic. Fill in the required details and upload the required documents. Your account will be opened and you'll get the documents you need 3. You must take your passport to the interview. It will be returned to you after the interview, if you have it in Lagos. 4. Read through the thread from page 1. There are tens of interview transcripts for your consumption. Please make sure you read. It's for your good. Jah bless |

Squirrel01: Deustchemann and other elders in the house,
since I booked interview, no date yet, I even mailed my school on the possibility of an extension, this was their reply. The latest possible arrival date for this year students intake would be 31 October, what do I do? Should I cancel and rebook? If your school has this deadline of October 31, it means you need an interview date not later then 3rd week of September, which at this stage doesn't look feasible. Write to your School about the possibility of enrolling by proxy. If you can send your documents to them, pay semester fee and they enrol you. If they agree to this proposition, then you can cancel and rebook with December start date. You can get a date in October and leave by November if all goes well. If they do not accept, passionately request for deferral to summer semester. They should be able to oblige. CruiseControl, this can also apply to you. |

Freeman59: Bro thanks. I quoted the appointment number, it's the number on the visa receipt that I didn't quote. Anyways I just believe they have it even though I sent it again with both numbers. And since they don't acknowledge mails then I think it's OK.
Now I'm seriously praying FedEx don't call me This week cuz my appointment was 24/07 Lol They won't |

Freeman59: Please house, I greet you all. I Got my blocking confirmation from fintiba on Thursday morning and forwarded same that morning. I didn't include my visa receipt number in the mail, rather I included my appointment reference number. My question is does it matter if I include the receipt number or not. And also will the embassy acknowledge receipt of the confirmation?
And how long does it take usually for rejections? Since your mind is questioning you as to why you didn't include your appointment number, I'll suggest you resend the mail quoting your full name, appointment number, passport number and date of interview. It's not a rule tho, just saying it from my point of view I don't think embassy acknowledges receipt of the confirmation |

Ayinke93: Good evening everyone. I must commend your amazing work here. I just want to start this journey and I pray it favours me. I'm an HND holder hoping to get a BSC admission. I want to start learning the language as soon as possible and also write IELTS. Looking forward to summer next year. But the issue I have is, I doubt if I'll be able to save up to the BA amount by summer next year, so I'm looking forward to using a SL.. Does using SL come with any disadvantages?.. And I had very good grades during my hnd, with that give me added advantages? I anticipate your response. Thank you Welcome to the thread. 1. Learning the language and prepping for IELTS is a very good idea. 2. There are no disadvantages that come with SL. It's also a means of sustenance like the BA and a scholarship. So far your sponsor is legit and is capable and willing to sponsor you, you're fine 3. Your HND grade will only come to play if the BSc admission is restricted. But you'll definitely get a spot sha. |

holadhayor1: The only issue is that my potential sponsor for SL disappointed me at the late hour. But any how, I know God will not share his Glory with any man. I am going with my Finitiba account opening documentation as advised by the elder statesman Deutschmann.. I really commend the great brains on this platform.. Elder statesman kwa? Rooneyx: Hello thanks for your reply, all applications seems to be closed for now I’m in turkey now and I need to know if I can apply for PHD as I have an Msc in health care management. And if the PHD has any deadlines as the rest or exams to write before admission is issued Yeah. Winter Applications are closed for now. About PhD, I don't know that much, but I don't think there are exams to write. Pending the start of summer Applications, you can send mails to professors asking if they have spaces for PhD students. I'm sure you'll get responses. |

They only return the documents, together with an official letter that states the reason for Rejection. I'm open to correction if there's any contrary answer |

Wisdomdavid: I am new here. Please I want to know if a scholarship From NDDC can cover for my funding during the visa stage.
It's urgent because my semester is starting in October.
Someone should please guide me.
Thanks. Based on the instructions given by the consulate, only German or European based scholarships are tenable. I can suggest that you Mail the embassy to clarify. They are in the best position to tell you what they accept. If the scholarship is worth 4M, you could ask NDDC to fund the Blocked account for you. PS: You shouldn't quote long posts in full. You can edit and cut off a large portion of it to conserve space. |

Sharly343: The Name of the school is ISFOP-Benin University located in Benin Republic . I graduated with a CGPA of 3.64 in Microbiology. Before you apply to any school, ensure you mail the course coordinator ahead to clarify the school's state on the accreditation status of the University you graduated from. We all know Houdegbe graduates have had their Applications rejected due to this accreditation stuff. So, spread your tentacles very wide and send lots of emails. They are kind enough to reply. As an alternative plan, you can enrol for 100L in Nigeria, complete the session, get your Transcript and apply for a BSc in Germany. |

If you renew your passport, it carries both the old and new number. So that was where I made the mistake from Just go with both passports to the interview. There shouldn't be any problem. |

You don't have to book for MSc when it's BSc you're going for. You could be turned back either at the gate or at the VO. |

djlaqua91: Hello guys
Having mistakenly booked an AD using my old passport number (expired). When filling the visa form, do I include the same old passport number or can I put down my current one.
Danke. This is a bit tricky. When did the passport expire? When did you book for a date? Do you have an appointment date? Answer these three questions for way forward. |

bjayNL: Thanks Deustchemann
I have to take a step to cancel and rebook.
I heard Paulinus is now turning people back that are under the wrong category.
I have a 2:2 which means I will no have to book under category B? I don't think it will be wise to book under CAT A again while Paulinus is turning people back? or what do you advise.
I also plan on using November ending as Deadline for Arrival, I hope that won't be too far?
And will it favor category B?
Any successful category B here can you advice on modalities If your school can extent till November ending, it's fine. However i don't think you should book with category A again since the rules have been updated. My thoughts tho |
