But do you think the embassy will give me the usual student visa if i intend going for the latter (i.e the study semester programme)?
How long is the study semester program?
I doubt if you'll be given normal student visa for that purpose.

Just in case that is not possible, i also intend tendering the admission letter for the degree program during my interview and be granted the usual student visa, but when i get into Germany i will go for the Study semester, while applying for better B.Sc degree options to begin in Winter.
I think this is what you should do.

Will this pose a problem to me later on? And what does the process look like?

Also, If i am granted a B.Sc admission for next winter, will i have to return to Naija to process a student visa again?
No. If you went on a student visa previously, you don't need to come back.

My reasons for this

- Like i said earlier, i really want to further my education as from Summer next year
- 1,500euros per semester (for the B.Sc degree programme in Summer) is a lot of money. I will have a young family to cater for by then, and need to conserve resources
- My preferred courses with more incorporation of IT are available in winter
- I gathered it is much easier to get a student job in Summer than in winter.

I am in dire straits now and really need advise.

Finally, I'd just say that you should map out your plan very well, especially now that a family is coming into view. Don't be in a rush. plan and replan. Have different plans: A,B,C,D.
I actually like the fact that you have a clear vision of what course and school you want to study. As I said, just make sure it's well planned. As you keep gathering information, factor them into the plans to know which will work best.

I wish you well bro

I almost forgot about this... I don’t have such old doc (All my documents got so wet and spoilt during one of those long unnecessary ASUU strike that started like play during my UG days)
Can I use my voters card, did it 2010 or 2011
Good to go. I'm using my national ID card slip I got in February 2014

This old doc carrying date of birth, is it really compulsory for interview? I can’t even find it on the checklist. I’ve searched and the only old document with my date of birth is my first international Passport.
If the passport is older than 5yrs, hold it to the interview

Hello everyone,am a silent reader but i decided to come out to be more active and receive guidance on the procedures of obtaining German Admission etc.

I am motivated by all these testimonies and teeming youths seeking to better themselves. My very first question please; Can my husband take my certificates to German Embassy and sign/certify on my behalf.Am kind of very busy at work.Kindly respond to my question house.thanks.
Welcome on board.
The embassy does not make provision or procedures for Certification by proxy. I can not say if a legal approval granted by a court on your behalf can suffice for your husband to Certify on your behalf.
It's best you just take a day off work and do your Certification.

Please Good people, how do i get my transcript from my school.i checked on the website and deduced that they can only send to professional and academic bodies.Do i have to keep applying for transcript directly to as many schools that i apply to.Please ho do i get a personal copy that i can make pbotocopies of and get them certified to enable me start applying. Please help a humble sister.

Kindly attend to my question.Thanks.
If you know anyone that works in a company, get your school to address your transcript to the company, and the person will pick it up for you. Collect it and make photocopies and Certify.

Don't keep applying for transcript for each school that you apply to. That's not cost wise.

My international passport contains old and new numbers and I mistakenly use the old number to book for an interview date. Please what should I do? Thanks.
As already advised, so far you own both passports. Hold the both of them when going for your interview. Use rubber band to hold both together. There's nothing to worry about.

Go with what specifically applies to you if you were born before December 13,1992

Bamstar007:
If you are born before dec 1992, use declaration of age and if it’s after dec 1992 use NPC certificate. Were you born BEFORE and AFTER dec 1992 (if yes then use the two) but if not use the one that applies to you

Is it compulsory to go to the interview with your Admission letter?

Good morning all, can one use attestation from NPC and age declaration together at the embassy?
You don't need NPC declaration of you're born before December 13 1992. Just go with the declaration of age as requested by the embassy

Please house, how does one send proof of sustenance to the Embassy after interview (both SL and BA)?
If you're using BA, the VO will give you an email where you will send the PDF version of the blocking confirmation to. You can also print it out and send via courier with 2 photocopies. Ensure you add a paper where you'll write your visa application number (you'll get this from the interview).
For your SL, send the original copy plus two photocopies via courier too with an indication of your visa application number

I'll be checking these out too.
how does it work though?
do you send your scanned docs via uniassist or directly to the school?
No Uni-assist here. Scan your documents and upload directly to the school's admission Portal.

I've been offer the admission from technical university chemnitz, awaiting Phillip marburg university...
Also got admission from bochum...which do u think is best option
I can't categorically state which is best for you.
Check the courses of each school, check the course modules to be sure it's what you can cope with. When you've cleared that, then make background checks on each of the cities, based on what you want to determine where you'll finally head to.

All the best.

Boss I greet u ooo
Help me with any one of them with direct online application.
Most, if not all are already closed now.
I remember the following schools I applied to operate with online applications only
1. University of Saarland
2. University of Bonn
3. University of Gottingen
4. University of Applied sciences, Aachen
5. Ruhr University, Bochum
6. University of Bayreuth
7. University of Bremen
8. University of Kiel
9. University of Siegen
10. University of applied sciences, Hamm-Lipstadt

Don't forget that some courses might have slight variations in the mode of Application across these schools, so do a background check on each of them.

Viel Glück

You guys are doing a great job here i really commend you all. Please what advice will you give an HND Graduate that wants to study in Germany?
Gather all your documents together: ssce, ND Certificate and transcripts, HND Certificate and transcripts.
Write IELTS. Enter DAAD, search for enough schools to apply for Bachelor programs. Fire your applications and await your Admission letters. Simultaneously, start preparing your proof of sustenance: BA or SL.
