alaafyn: Hello guys,
I am sending my SL hardcopy to the embassy. From previous readings, I realized I could send through courier specifying my name and visa application number on it. Could anyone kindly help me shed more light on this, of anything else I should do. I don't wanna make any mistake.
Thanks. Cc:Deutschman, fabcol. Yes. Your name, visa application number on your visa fee receipt. Put them together with your SL hardcopy in an envelope and send via courier to the embassy. You could also drop it personally if you stay in Lagos. |

SpongeBobSP: you know what bro? I have noticed this and it's kinda frustrating , but it is what it is. Was planning to use an EPL, but that doesn't seem feasible anymore cos courses in my field are limited. and the more you filter the search to streamline it to suit your BSC qualification and other things , the less options you get... LOL Lol.. naso e be. Just block every loophole and make maximum Applications. Viel Glück |

Somstevee: Good day bro. I am really impressed with the way you and your likes help people here. I started this quest with little or no knowledge about this Germany, but I can possibly say dat am grounded with the basic information needed. I am at d stage of waiting for AD, n I will not love to take chances. I wish to Start for summer application. Please, can you help me with possible schools dat can be applied online for summer intake. I ve tried daad.de but most information dia are for uniassist. Thanks again Thank you for the kind words. Note that almost all schools are open for summer Applications BUT NOT ALL COURSES ARE. That's very critical. However you can use the advanced search tool on DAAD when searching. Just click on summer in the application period. It will streamline the search to all programs offered in Summer. You shouldn't remove Uni-assist From your plans because there are very limited courses for summer and removing Uni-assist or English Test might leave you with little or nothing to apply for. So, make sure you exhaust every opportunity to place an application. If you need further help, you can always send a PM. |

glopatra: Good morning All. Elders in the house pls help me understand this: 1)Is it possible to defer admission from winter to winter has anybody done it before.
2)And concerning deferment from winter to summer is it usually automatic admission ( the school will send you the letter on time before the usual summer admission period ) Or you have to wait again for the summer admission to start rolling out 1. Yes. It is possible if your school grants it. You can mail your course coordinator to that effect. If it's granted, you'll be issued another Admission letter that will cover for the winter Application period. 2. Same also applies to summer deferment. So far it's approved, you'll be sent a new AL. If the school doesn't accept the deferment, then apply again next winter and upload the AL you got from them this year as a supporting document. It will ease their stress of re-evaluating you since you had been previously admitted. |

anthonanik: Good evening FAMILY. Another rejection from Kiel making it 3 rejections in a row.. Still have about 7 other applications including the one I applied through uni assist.
My question is, does any of you guys received the same rejection and later got admitted?
How do you cope with the rejections?
I am being optimistic here and I know that failure is part of the process which indicates that I am trying though.
Do you I need to apply for visa appointment before getting AL because I have been reading comments as regards to some applying for Visa without AL, I want to be proactive and also I don't want to over step either.
I need a candid advice on what to do please..
Thanks gurus in the house for una effort so far. Let me give you my opinion. Rejection letters are an integral part of this race, especially when you are in a field that has very limited schools that offer non-restricted admissions. You'd even be surprised that some so called non-restricted admissions, will finally become restricted when the number of qualified applicants supercedes the carrying capacity. When I discovered I was in this shoe, I decided to jack up the number of applications I'd submit. I posted earlier that I tendered Applications to 39 different programs across 20 different schools. I received 13 rejection letters before my first admission letter dropped, and even after other Admissions came, I have also received about 10 rejection letters in-between.My testimony page is on page1 of this thread. You'll find the dates I receive ALs there. But I must confess, I got discouraged at a point in time because most of the schools were not rejecting me based on bad CGPA. I have 1.7 German grade and a fantastic bachelors Thesis. They were telling me that they have too much qualified applicants and they can't take all. So you can imagine how it would feel like. I remember vividly on February 6, I went for certification at the embassy. On my way back in the afternoon, after hustling for danfo, in the heat and stress, I checked my mail and found a rejection letter from a school I placed much hope in.. my eyes got wet..but I remained strong. Leaving the story, I want you to stay strong. Your Admission will surely drop. You'll share the testimony here by God's grace. Please wait till you have your AL before you apply for an appointment. That's the proper thing to do. God bless your hustle bruder. |

Govkaybee: Hello peeps, So I'm still in the process of making payment to uniassist for otton von guericke madgeburg for MSc. and the application deadline is July 15th. Was wondering if this july 15th timeline applies to the online application on uniassist or to the posting of documents to them. Also, must recommendation letters be from lecturers? Can my boss give me a recommendation letter? 1. If you don't need to get the vpd for further Application to your school, then the deadline is not a problem. In that way, just make sure your documents and payment gets to Uni-assist before Deadline. They'll process and forward directly to your school, while you await your admission letter. 2. In the requirements, youl be told who can issue your recommendation letter. But since this is an academic Application, it's preferred your recommendation comes from a lecturer who can attest to your academic ability. Cheers. |

Eg the name on my WASSCE is Livinus Obinna K while the name on my international passport and university degree etc is Livinus Kenneth Obinna. It shouldn't cause a problem. But if you are still unsettled, do an affidavit to cover the name issue. |

Awilibogy: Good evening House,
My Sponsor visit the Alien office today and he said he was told that he can't stand as sponsor because we don't bear thisame surname and that if he must stand he will have to deposit 10k euro incase I committ crimes. Please House how true is this my brothers and sisters. The above stated reason doesn't hold water at all. Your sponsor doesn't even have to be related to you. If he said so, perhaps he's just giving you excuses If he's single without child, he needs something roughly 2k monthly as income to sponsor you. So the second part of depositing 10k euros doesn't sound logical to me too. What city does your sponsor live? |

bjayNL: Good morning all,
Thank you all for the contributions.
Got AL for TUM.
Please when booking Visa appointment, do I need to upload documents? I'm asking this because I still have two items to regularise
1. Declaration of age (as I have a birth certificate and I was born before 1992)
2. My bank is yet to fund my fintiba account, so the documents for proof of funds to submit in the consulate is not yet ready.
I am sure these documents will be ready before 3 weeks laps
Please those who have gone ahead and are experienced, Kindly advice can I just go ahead and book an appointment?
Am I submitting these documents online while booking? You don't need to upload any of the documents. Just get the documents ready (especially number 1) before the interview date. |
