Good morning everyone.

Please someone should help answer this question.
My sister is acting as my co-sponsor and paying my fees for me but my living expenses and other funds are in my account.
My question, is it necessary for my sister to transfer the fees to my account?

Hello Devasia,

A 4-month, 6-month, or 1-year bank statement is accepted. In the case of submitting a 4-month or 6-month statement, an officer can request for an updated bank statement for a longer duration using discretion. No panic, you can apply with a 4-month statement to eliminate the lump sum(s).

For your consideration: Since your sister transferred the funds in October 2023, you can print from November 2023.

To complement the 4-month statement presented, endeavor to include enough documents supporting the strength of your financial abundance and economic stability.

Best Wishes!

Thanks

Please do you have idea what documents I could provide highlighting the sum I make from my free lance?
Though all payments from my freelance comes with a description.

Good morning house.
I just got my admission and I have some series of clarification I need from the gurus in the house.
1. I have a 4 months bank statement with a steady inflow of cash; my monthly salary of 300k, I also work freelance which also gives me inflow of between 100k - 250k on weekly or bi-weekly basis.
My sister transferred a lump sum of money to my account as of October last year.
My question thus, is it possible to use a 4months bank statement for POF or it must be 6 months?
Also, since the lump sum was paid in awhile ago on 1st of December 2023, is it advisable to print my bank statement from 1st of January 2024, hence only showing my opening balance and thus eliminating the need to print when the large sum entered?
Please a brother needs your urgent answers.
Thanks

Hello ColdHunter,

Gather your documents that cover areas of finance, employment, home ties, etc. Check the thread for detailed documents others have submitted. Note that each applicant's situation is different and only select documents that relate to your situation best.

BTW, what is your course of study and program?

Things to watch out for:

• Avoid (unexplained) lump sum deposits, if possible;

• Pay the complete part of your tuition and have your living expenses in your account;

• ensure your account has historical inflows that amount to an accumulated closing balance;

• Work on your home ties and if using a sponsor, prove a strong relationship to the individual and the individual should try as much as possible to show financial commitment;

• Demonstrate reliable financial means by providing relevant sufficient documents;

• Ensure your supporting documents are legible and uploaded in the right column;

• Be sincere, and if there are any discrepancies in your personal information or situation, use the LOE to give clarity while using the SOP to elaborate on your study intent. If you feel like outsourcing your immigration letter(s), chat with GCMSWriters on IG/X;

• Declare any prior refusals, especially to the US, the UK, NZ, or Aussie;

• Lastly, avoid revealing too much information. Only give that which directly pertains to justifying your application. Quote me if you need additional information (or clarity) you couldn't find in the (previous) thread.

Best Wishes!

Good day boss,

Please can you help me to clarify this.
I want to submit my visa application soon.
My sister had earlier paid in 30million into my account in lump on Nov last year. So I intend printing my statement of account reading from December.
My question is do I still have to explain the lump sum even though it won't show in my statement considering that I will print from Dec which is one month after the fund was transferred.

Also, to use as home ties, I intend to finalise my marriage plans with my girlfriend by next month and getting Certificate of marriage from our customary Court. Is this advisable and can it be used?
Also she is currently a month pregnant, can I aswell state this in my SOP and do I need to provide the documentation to back up the pregnancy?

Thanks

Please can someone help me with this

Personally, since the Funds in both acct are genuinely available, I will advise you add both. The business acct will just be there to give the VO a clear understanding of the liquidity and financial capacity of the business while the personal acct will hold the funds for the applicant's expenses. You can state this clearly in the SOP. It's also important the sponsor demonstrates his or her capability and willingness to meet their financial obligations. Strongest way to demonstrate that is by paying the tuition deposit from either the personal or company acct. The personal will be preferable.

Please can I send you a direct message? Would like your idea on an issue.

Your POF looks good. Need to ensure the SOP is tight. Explaining all sources of funds with documentations ad well as proof of relationship. Goodluck

Thank you.
Please I do have another question, is it advisable to submit both my sisters personal and business account statement just to corroborate the funds?
Also, must my fees be paid from either of the account or it doesn't matter where the fees will come from, as I just have to show proof that I have paid the fees. This is because my inlaw agreed to pay the fee for me as a means of his kind gesture.

Hi guys, please I need advice addressing some concerns I have about lodging my visa.
Earlier this year Feb, my student visa to Australia was denied based on home ties, so now I want to apply to Canada and would like some feedback on my chances.
1. I have applied to Canadore College for a graduate certificate program ( 1 year).
2. I am currently employed and have 30,000,000 Naira ($23,000 CAD) in my personal account.
3. My workplace agreed to provide me with a letter of sabbatical for my studies abroad.
4. My immediate elder sister would be acting as my co-sponsor. She had about 25,000,000 Naira ($19800 CAD) in her personal account and about 80,000,000 Naira ($63,000 CAD) in her business account. With all her business documents available.
5. My dad is late but had a company which I am a shareholder.
6. I have some land and property deeds on my name.
7. I plan of getting married by April 2024.
8. My graduate certificate fees will be paid by my sister upon admission, so the money in my personal account remains intact and as well increasing because my salary and other funds are still coming in.

Please my question thus is, do I have a chance on getting a student visa and also what documents can I present as evidence of home ties that would be strong enough. What are your recommendations and advice.
Thanks

your thread topic has Igbo written on it. It doesn't take a genius to realise that your aim is to bash Igbos here and not GEJ.

I have been on this forum a long time. I know the bashing is mutual. But our people have started over-doing it

You have just shown that you are very stupid and bitterness will kill you

Don't be too smart to sound stupid.
I bet you dont know the difference between a cow and a horse, and you have no knowledge dt both belongs to two different ethnic groups. ..

This man is a bastard and a perpetrator of violence. How can a man who claims to represent Christ be a liar? Jesus ministry was/is based on truth and anyone who represent him should be an embodiment of truth.
Is dt the only inscription on the Nigerian passport? He did not see other ethnic groups?
Oh wait, he's a scam of a pastor Ofcox.
And oh, before you riffraffs attack me, the American passport has an inscription of herdsmen on page 24 of its leaflets. Is that also islamization agenda? Or this government put it there. Most of you commenting here are just ignorant and you come here and insult yourself.
