Popular singer, Akon has observed that Psquare, Wizkid and Davido are richer than most American hip-hop artistes.

He made this known in a viral video while speaking at a summit for youths.

Akon revealed that the glamorous lifestyle seen in most American hip-hop videos were actually fake, adding that such music videos which show foreign musicians living large lifestyle with Bentley is actually the opposite of reality compared to African artistes.

According to him, Wizkid, Psquare, and Davido are richer than most American rappers in reality.

Akon said: “Hip-hop in America, every rapper is rich with Gold chains, girls by the pool in big mansion but when the video is over they get on a phone and call a uber.

“But if you go to Nigeria you have Wizkid, Davido, P-square driving Bentley, Mercedes Benz they actually own those cars. That’s the difference but if we don’t translate that, they would never know.

“The images they show about Africa are so negative. It’s conditioning what we believe. Africa has a rich story too. More people died in Chicago, more school shootings in America.”

I am just trying to paint a picture of what might have happened.
Obviously, the security officials are blocked by the procession, they aggressively asked to move away, they are met with strong opposition to their request and then in their trademark characteristics to always show that people should bow down at the sound of their voice, they decided to do a show of force by ramming into them. The boys on their own part must have dared them too and called them bluff when threatened.
All these happenings is because we have entrusted our security in the hands of frustrated , never-do-well individuals who whenever you disagree with them, they see it as you are looking down on them because they were good at anything they did. It is said it is those with low self-esteem that derives joy humiliating others.
When one of my street boys made it to the police force about 5 years ago, that was when i knew our security is in danger so when i see all these things happening i am not surprised. They see a young guy who has made money, their low self esteem frustrated being is tickled. #Endsars won't stop the brutality too. We need an overhaul of the security system. A competence test for all of them and those who fail to scale through is thrown away just like el-rufai did with his state teachers.

The army is being abused in this country honestly. There is no difference between the military rule and democratic rule anymore. Why will soldiers be storming a news station.? This write up is just pathetic. You should know there are something the party leadership decides and unfortunately the people you are talking about controls the leadership. You don't expect atiku to start fighting with the PDP leadership at this stage. One thing I love about the man is he is smart and dogged too. So don't worry he knows how and when to reward his true supporters and loyalists. It is better you lose the battle and win the war. Don't blame atiku for anything happening now. From all indications, it is obvious he was referring to Prince Arthur Eze and if our guess is right, it shows how bold he is. We need leaders who will look corrupt politicians in their face and call them out.
