I agree with banning personal soliciting. Anyone with urgent need can go through tehn. When they verify his/her case, then they announce it and people can donate as moved.

Not everyone in here knows TEHN. Some don't even know how to go about contacting TEHN for assistance. Some needs are extremely urgent that need urgent attention. Having to go through verification before broadcasting some time. I suggest you insert the link to TEHN thread in your post.

The main regulatory agencies including the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration (NAFDAC), the Manufacturers’ Association of Nigeria (MAN) and Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) have enforced strict control on all products manufactured or imported into the country. They have continuously increased their monitoring on the areas of quality, health & safety, tariff rates and have had a concentrated effort to rid fake products from the market. This has given great confidence both to the consumers as well as the manufacturers.

Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or consumer packaged goods (CPG) are products that are sold quickly and at relatively low cost. Examples include non-durable goods such as soft drinks, toiletries, over-the-counter drugs, toys, processed foods and many other consumables. In contrast, durable goods or major appliances such as kitchen appliances are generally replaced over a period of several years.

FMCG have a short shelf life, either as a result of high consumer demand or because the product deteriorates rapidly. Some FMCGs—such as meat, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, and baked goods—are highly perishable. Other goods such as alcohol, toiletries, pre-packaged foods, soft drinks, and cleaning products have high turnover rates.

Though the profit margin made on FMCG products is relatively small (more so for retailers than the producers/suppliers), they are generally sold in large quantities; thus, the cumulative profit on such products can be substantial. FMCG is probably the most classic case of low margin and high volume business.

I will appreciate if I could be provided with names and contact information (phone and email address) of reputable companies or professional individual in Nigeria that provide transport management services to investors willing to invest in transportation business in Nigeria.

With a new government now in place in Nigeria, I am confident that this is a good time to start investing in Nigeria and support the economy. In view of this I am looking at starting a medium size commercial transportation business in Nigeria. I am currently in the process of procuring some buses (up to 5 buses for a start) to be used for commercial transportation in Lagos Nigeria. This is just for a start as more buses will be acquired if everything goes well.

I will not be able to manage these buses by myself due to the fact that I am based outside of Nigeria. As a result, I am looking for corporate company (preferably) or professional individual that is in the business of managing commercial transportation buses for individual investors like me. The approach I want to use is similar to what is applicable in the real estate business where Real Estate Management Company or individual manages your real estate properties for you.
