We bless God because succour has arrived. An internationally recognized NGO, HELPING HANDS INTERNATIONAL has visited the boy at the general hospital Ikeja today. The boy was sleeping but we spoke with the parents and gave them cash with some food items. Helping hands want to assist the boy but we are waiting the state government's decision on his case as the doctors said surgery is the only way. Helping hands appeal to the state government to pls respond on time. Pictures of our visit is attached. I hope this does not break any rule here on my dear forum.

Joint Task Force (JTF) last night, Wednesday November 19, averted a major bloodbath in along Kano road, Maiduguri, Borno state. The JTF comprising both civilian and military personnel intercepted two vehicles, Gulf 3 model loaded with Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

Six occupants of the two Gulf cars were reported to be all ladies aged between 20 to 25 years old pretending to be travelers, while the drivers were male. The drivers along with the six ladies were detained by the JTF. The ladies are suspected to be members of Boko Haram.

A member of JTF explained that Boko Haram had adopted a new mode of transporting its weapons and operators. “They are using young women now disguised as travelers”. He went on to add that the “JTF have intensified ‘stop and search’ at every checkpoint in the city.”
