it is an invitation and no email has come

What is the purpose of your trip? You might want to check that the individual/organisation that invited you has replied VFS on the authenticity of the invitiation. I got my visa the day my host replied the VFS evisa team

I have not received a response from my E visa from VFS and it is over a week now. Any reason what the challenge would be ?

How many weeks did it take ? I mean for the VFSOnline and how many does weeks does DHA take?

Yes it is 87 dollars, more pricey than the DHA website. In my experience and that of a few others it is faster because it is more expensive.

So there is VFS online - charges 84 dollars for visa and now DHA also has their visa online as well.

How much is that?

I find vfs evisa fee too pricy.

Is DHA cheaper?

For the evisa is it complusory to have a return ticket? And if you don't have a return ticket which airline can you book a dummy trip to be able to get booking no?

Because in the evisa there is space to put the return ticket detials

Should I click multiple entries or what?

Then are they asking if I would frequently be traveling or what?

Also in the e visa there in the employment part there is nature of work - Am i suppose to fill it is remote? or the role?

Should I book a dummy hotel ?

Recall I was initially denied application in Oct 2023. Should I state it? and also the reason that I did?

I also have the sticker visa should I state it ??

Okay, what about the second option you suggested? I am trying to understand the second option, but sometimes I don't understand how this nairaland works. it can be diffcult to follow a trail

I advise that you carefully read all previous comments. It is exhausting repeating what has been said in the past. Please read through and you are applying for a tourist visa(Visitor visa) Usign all the links, the website is self explanatory , if you patiently follow it through.

Also note that like I mentioned I have a sticker visa on my passport which is single entry and 30 days expiring 31/12/23, also this is my first time visiting SA.

My employer requires me to be in SA till the end of Jan at most. They are sponsoring the entire trip.

Would I need to attach flight and accommodation proof in addition to the letter?

Now in this case, you draft a letter and attach the supporting document to the consulate in Nigeria for an extension.
I suppose the visa you have currently is an electronic one.

Upon receipt, the consulate will correspond depending on the urgency. This can only be done from Nigeria.
Mind you, if you decide to process from SA, you may be requested to attach your permit.
I am not sure you have that.

I am suppose to be in SA till Jan 2024. However the visa they gave me is a single entry and expired Dec 2023.

My employer gave me a letter to the consular.

My question is what do I do? Can an extention ve given? What should I do?

The message is not clear. Let take it one by one.
1. How long were you supposed to be in SA?
2. If there is need for extension, your South African employers know what to do.
3. Sponsorship letter and letter to consular, I don't think I understood what you meant there. I thought you said you have a visa already.

Yes that's expected of them to email you with that appeal process. It's useless and time consuming if you choose that route, SA evisa is yet to assign staff agents to address appeals. If you do appeal you will be met with another email that instructs you to just apply again. Personally I'd suggest you apply again perhaps with this time see if you can use your Ghana yellow card to gain a proper Nigerian yellow card since you already have the vaccines. it should be an easy switch. Although I'm baffled as to why evisa will refuse your Ghana yellow card. I say this because you applied online so it shouldn't have been refused unless they've been told to only accept yellow cards from the applicants home country which means if you are Nigerian, you should have a Nigerian yellow card and not a Ghanaian one. This will seem silly to me honestly but I wouldn't be surprised.

I applied physically not even online, I just feel that VFS keeps wanting people not to appeal so they can make more money

You can appeal physical applications, but not e visas. so please save yourself the stress and go to the portal to get the email address for vfs SA and request for informations and docuements to appeal. Goodluck.

My application was a physical application not an e visa.

I submitted my application like ending of 27th sept and received the letter yesterday.

Please the consulars number?

I want to visit vfs office in lekki to clarify this issue.

It is really upsetting, cus I even have travel history whiich means i have been travelling with the yellow fever cards.

VO are really unintelligent people and lazy!

The 10 days is just for appealing or disputing what they've issued you as a refusal. Personally don't bother trying to appeal it with a written report instead try and see if you can call the South African embassy directly and ask to speak to a consular. explain to them the the yellow fever issued is from Ghana and not Nigeria.

Now with that being said that is why you've been refused. The South African embassy in Nigeria is used to the Nigerian Yellow fever card and not the Ghanaian one hence why you presented it to them they thought it was a fabrication. Personally I would advice that you take the Ghanaian one to the clinic and have them issue you a new Nigerian yellow card based on the verification of the Ghanaian one. in other words there will be no need for you to get another series of vaccines because you already have your Ghanaian yellow card to show you've done so. It should be a simple process.

I feel bad cus I even work with a south african company. Plus this visa application was very expensive as i even submitted police report to back up my application which cost me 30k

My visa was denied for this reason.

However my yellow fever card does not even originate from nigeria but was issued in ghana. I am completely exhausted about this.
