I spent like 20 days. I paid almost a million in flights so wanted to make sure i enjoyed my stay instead of rushing back.

I paid 2600 ram from Joburg to Capetown in flights

I have attached the tourism requirements if that is what you are going for, I applied for medical tourism since that is what I am going for. They lady just asked me a few questions and that was it. Nothing serious. All the documents u submitted will be sent to Abuja and they will be the one to eventually give the visa.

Update - I have received my Turkey visa - I applied for medical tourism.

It took Approx 2 weeks. DHL just returned my passport today.

I was given single entry to stay a max of 25 days and it will expire end of September. I live in Lagos and use the submission office in VI, I did not go through any agent . I applied myself.

Single entry above 500k

Multiple entry above 800k

There is no online website to apply for Turkey visa, if you are based in Abuja you need to physically go to the embassy and submit your application an application form will be given to you. You can find the requirements depending on the type of visa you want.

If you are based in Lagos they have a collection center in VI where you also be given a form to fill and they will check your documents you bring . In Lagos it cost about 537,500 naira ( This is all inclusive including courier fees)

Yes, you are to get a referral letter from a doctor in Nigeria and then a letter from a doctor in Turkey ( The letter will be written in English & Turkiye )

For Schengen medical visas it's stated that, "Medical certificate of the approved doctor, stating that it is impossible to treat the patient in the country."
Does this same rule also apply to medical visa applications for Turkey?

I just thought to update everyone on my Visa waka since this is where I came crying. They denied me multiple times for no reason, the last one they waited for my return date to reach and told me that my since my return date has elapsed hence they denied me(Anyways they mad) mind you this was an online application that cost me 87 dollars each time I applied ( Mad pple)

Anyways I decided to apply for the sticker visa not the e-visa , they granted me visa and gave me a visa for Four months, This is my first time applying to SA and they also gave me for multiple entry.

Anyways, I have already travelled and even returned , it was a multicity trip, so I went to Joburg and then flew from Joburg to Capetown.

There is no point trying to buy rand here. You can always exchange at the airport. When i came back I had some rand, I sold it at the airport and to naira and returned home

Also if you have dollars, I will advise you to just use ur dollar card, because it is more like a cashless economy hence no point even carrying rand about.

I applied for visa through vfsonline and got rejected in December for my bank statement being less than 3 months, I checked the email and realized it was actually 3 months , I sent an email and they told me there was nothing they can do and I should reapply, this was 1st week of December 2023, I paid 87 dollars which is 121,400 even though this trip is fully sponsored and I even went ahead and attached my bank statement and all documents as if It was fully sponsored , meanwhile there is an invitation letter and other document from my employer, I went ahead and applied for another visa on the 21st December , I didn't get a feedback as my travel date was approaching and my flight was 31st Dec , as I had work engagements etc. When I didn't get a response, I followed up back-to-back to get feedback, VFSonline kept telling me, they had escalated and they are still waiting, My travel date was to travel 31st and return 25th Jan, I followed up and my colleagues even checked called DHA and they never picked up.

I have work engagements and targets. On the 25th of Jan I got an email that my visa was denied because the travel date had elapsed , I have never experienced such unfair treatment and day light injustice. I have spent almost 450k applying for this visa in just a single month in December . Total spent almost 200 dollars

Please I want to seek Justice, please how do I go about this??

I sent to the same emails on 28/12/2024 no response. I have sent 34 emails as at today to Hacc since 4/12/2023. My application was submitted 3 months and 6 days ago The grind continues. we will get it lol

Thank you to everyone contributing to this thread. I finally got my E-visa after send an email to all the email addresses I could scavenge from the beginning to the end of this thread
So, if anyone has an urgent need to travel and the visa is not forthcoming, I recommend sending an email with details of purpose of trip as well as all documents attached. I got mine few hours after sending the email. Goodluck to all others.

Use travelbeta to book dummy flight, dont go and book real flight when you are not certain you would get the visa

Yes it was me, remember my sticker visa was for 30 days would expire on or before the 31/12/23.

But you advised me to apply again since I needed to be in SA in Jan using the vfsonline, i did and they denied me can you imagine claiming that my bankstatement is not up to 3 months, i sent them an email showing them my bankststement was up to 3 months, they replied saying there cannot adjust the decision and I should apply again..each application is 87 dollars. I did and till today there is no feed back on my application.

I can not believe you are still facing visa. Were you not the one that said you got a sticker visa? What is the current status? you did not travel again?

My flight was on the 31st and till now I have not heard from them, to think I work for an SA firm, is very embarrassing. First of all they denied my visa claiming that my bank statement was not up to three months this was in Dec, I sent them an email sending them the BS I attached to the application and that it was 3 months and they asked me to apply again and that they cannot reverse their decision, this is after paying 87 dollars for the VFS online, one would think they will treat it as a priority when I reapply but NO.

These people are fraud, yet they claim Nigerians are the cause of their problems.
