My first car was a Toyota Camry 2005 model. I bought it from someone on Nairaland. Oh this car dealt with me. Barely three weeks later, I had to replace the engine, and that was the beginning of my woes. Every week, something has to be fixed! From power steering
pump to steering rack to the Fan, to the engine seat, I changed almost Everything in that car before I sold it off.
Never again will I buy a Naija used car.

Hahaha..those agents are a bunch of clowns. After stating Clearly my specifications for the kind of house I wanted, they started taking me to very very terrible houses! The annoying it is that the Landlord would just put an unbelievable price tag on the house.
If you want to charge me 600k per annum, at least let the house be habitable. Not the one that the past tenants have destroyed the W.C, messed up the kitchen, broken tiles everywhere!

I got frustrated and started checking OLX thinking at least I would see pictures of the house before wasting my time....WRONG! The jokers there advertised a beautiful house and took me to a shanty!

Hello all, my uncle is building a hotel in Abuja and has been stuck for over 2 years now. The said hotel has been built, roofed, plastered. Some of the materials for finishing like tiles, elevator and some sanitary wares are on ground. The hotel has a Certificate of Occupancy and was valued to be worth over 500 million and a forced sale value of 383 million naira.
The amount needed is about 84 million with variation of 16 million to get the hotel up and running.
Please does anyone know of any investment bank or individual that can be of help?

OP, something very similar happened to me like 3years ago. It was in the evening and I was actually heading to the bureau the change at MM2...Then I had doubts in my mind if they would have closed or not so I drove to Airport Hotel to change the money.
The Yoruba guys gave me a higher rate so I gladly changed from them 400 dollars.
He gave me 60,000 which I counted over and over before handing him the dollars.
I got home and voila the money was short by 28,000.
I was the only one at home, I drove alone and didn't stop to pick anyone or buy something. How the money disappeared is what I don't know till today. I have however heard several stories after that the yoruba guys on Allen mix their money with juju and no matter how careful you are, the money will still disappear.

I checked up hotels in Seychelles. Most of them are beach condos and I saw a staggering sum infact it's too heavy to pass through my mouth. lol. Maldives is an island too and equally as beautiful. I saw an amazing beach resort there for 35k per night.
Still doing my research though. Would check up more hotels soon.
