Lagos or Abuja? Transcript please.....

[quote author=MiracleMum post=66984405]My interview was scheduled for 9am today. I was given a white paper after much question and answer. And the VO said I'd receive a mail in the next 3 days informing me to come pick up my documents and passport which she's withholding for administrative purpose.
Does this mean I've gotten the visa?[/quote

confirmed. got a mail from them this morning

And the time as come for Oakbend to join others.

I can authoritatively confirm that Oakbend has increased its fees by about 100% if you register and pay before the 36th week and even higher if you pay after 36th week. Epidural fees are nt optional again but however refundable for vaginal birth if not used. Hearing test is COMPULSORY now and included in their fee.

Thank God for the opportunity to have had 2 Oakbend born babies before this 'heart-paining" increase.

For more info, check Oakbend's website or ask your doctor.

undecided angry

Ma'am..... you'll need to decide on a state first and then contact hospitals and doctors there to see which one suits you and begin corresponding with them by email. Once you are settled on one and they have undertaken to care for you, the mail trail is what you'll take to the embassy. Or you can search here for hospitals and doctors in your location of choice.

I suggest you read up more.......everything you need is here....including several budget sheet samples. Pls use the search bar at the top and narrow down to travel section.

Yes I have done change of name and paper publications, Ihave not effect name change with NMC. But is it really necessary to effect with NMC?
IYIMAN:

Since you're married, I will suggest you use your current name, there's always space for maiden name in any official form.... Hope you've done official change of name with paper publication too. Try to effect name change with NMC too.

I only snapshot my result and sent to them, the lady called me and asked me some questions, then sent me a mail , telling me to inform them whenever am ready to take the 50 questions pre nursing assessment. I have not sent a reply because I need to concentrate to face that, I have ielts general exam next week which I want to use for Canada immigration. I don't want to put my head in one basket. Although I will also start the CGFNS CES report processes immediately and then start reading for NCLEX.
spicyritie:
please how long did you wait before you got a reply after sending your ielts report form? They requested for my ielts report form which I sent about a month ago but I'm yet to get a reply from them. Thank you
Travel / Re: Nigerian Nurses And Midwives With The Dream Of Working Abroad Let's Meet Here. by DFmum: 3:30pm On Jul 21, 2017
My international passport carries my husband's name, my nursing license carries my maiden name, if am filling the CGFNS CES Form which name will be used so that I don't make mistakes.

Where did you write your nclex when you were in naija?
P406:

I am told the requirements to sign up with passport USA is either a pass in Nclex or cgfns with an experience in at least a 100beds + hospital.
in my case, I had already passed nclex before I approached them, had an interview with them and then given a contract to sign.

Sorry if am asking too much, am very excited to hear this and am very very ready to start as soon as possible. Please I need to understand the whole processes involved. Or direct me to where it has been discussed before in this forum. Thanks alot
desy24444:
yes you can. Apply for cgfns credentials evaluation service report
Travel / Re: Nigerian Nurses And Midwives With The Dream Of Working Abroad Let's Meet Here. by DFmum: 1:14pm On Jul 21, 2017
Can I apply for nclex without writing cgfns exam? If yes how is it done please.......
barbiee:
it's true that the agencies take a long time but that is because they have a lot of applicants to attend to and they won't let you sit for nckex unless you are 101% sure of acing it plus they are shouldering all the expenses so you need to have a lot of patience when dealing with them. However it's faster if you decide to do it on your own ,you can pay for expedited service and get your report within 10 days after receipt of relevant documents but bear in mind that this route is expensive and you have the responsibility of preparing for nclex and passing it on your own which is entirely possible @iyiman is a testimony to that.
You can try out OGP if you are comfortable with waiting a bit longer if not, then do it yourself.
