Yeah, I understand you. I have the same issue: my school is listed as H+ but my degree isn't listed. From what I read having one's degree listed as H+ on Anabim is important, so it's a bit confusing. Of course the 208 Euros is much, but my main concern is the 3 months wait period to do the ZAB process. victorygiven: i think if your university degree is H+ and your degree is recognized you can go ahead, one thing is confusing me, if you see your university degree type e.g BA.Ed., BSc.Ed etc. but they didn't mention your course like geology, sociology .etc., can i use it? hope they will accept And in 2022 i gained Masters admission to a public university in Germany if my degree wasn't recognized they won't give me the admission then, so i might risk it. 208 euros in naira exchange rate is much o lol |

Bro, abeg is there a particular platform where these kinds of jobs are listed? Fairest4568: I will give a quick advice for you to secure a secondary employment in Germany. I do not guarantee that it will work out for you but you can try it. Germany is in need of nursing assistants(care givers) and the adverts are increasing. If you can, apply as a care giver for part time or full time, for this opportunity card financing . BUT applying directly as a care giver for work visa will NOT really work because having the qualification is a requirement for the visa. But as a part-time job(for opportunity card) might work. So give it a try if you are finding it difficult getting jobs. |

Please In processing your statement of comparability with Anabim, what documents were you asked to upload? Thanks. Sid57: Hello everyone, pls is there a WhatsApp group? I've started the process but there is very sparse information. I have received my statement of comparability from ZAB, and I got an email asking me to upload my documents. However, I'm in Abuja where online application is not possible. So my questions: 1. Do I fill out the form and submit physically to the German mission in Abuja?
2. In filling out the form there is a section for Reference, and it says for work visa it has to be an educational establishment/coy/organization. Since I do not have a job there yet, what do I fill for that section?
3. What's the best provider to use for the blocked account? Pls anyone who has done theirs or has details, do share ! |

Hello boss, Thanks for all you do here. So in a situation where the institution is listed as H+ on Anabin but the specific degree isn't available on the platform, that can't fly for Opportunity Card application, right? Hannania: There are two categories:
1. Skilled worker: If your degree is H+ on Anabin, and your degree is also on Anabin, all you need is your block account of 13092 euros of SL, and you'll get your Visa. No need for a language test. If it's not, you need to do ZAB. It cost 208 euros and takes 3 months
2. Unskilled workers: These are people whose Universities are not H+, their degree course is not certified, or have HND or vocational training. If you fall here, you need the language certificate of IELTS B1 or A1 German. You also need to get six points from the point system.

Just hop on to YouTube academy and learn blender first and thank me later. I can shoot you some channels of some YouTubebers to watch their videos to learn because when I first started I just watch everything without a curriculum but after hundreds of videos, I was able to get the right channels to learn directly from easy and well scripted Bro if you are able to use blender to atleaste 78% efficiency you will be making big bucks in millions monthly no cap. |

Go with the Old and new DS-160 confirmation page. The officials handling initial screening of applicants will help you update it to the new DS-160 and it's that new one that they'll use to generate the bar code sticker that they will out at the back of your passport. And that's what you'll use for your interview. Ollienwa: Hi everyone: I have a visa appt for later this month and I recently corrected some information on my DS 160 form and it generated a new DS 160 for me. How do I change it or replace the old DS 160 barcode with the new and corrected DS 160 form and barcode on my appointment letter?
Also, is it at the embassy, the VO asks for your DS 160 that he has access to it or immediately it was submitted online, it went straight to him. I’m asking because of conflicting informations in the two ds 160s. Is it possible to totally disregard the old form and present the new form? |

Hello boss, Please I need your advice on this situation: My profile was moved from the old platform to the new one for a November interview date. But I recently renewed my passport and have a new passport number. I also filled another DS160 form, but I can't update the new passport number and DS-160 number on this new platform. Please how would you advice I solve this with all the new system that's going on. You said the "DS-160 he gives them." Please what do you mean by that? Thanks. Gretmang: It’s the DS-160 that you give them at the embassy during interview that they’re gonna treat. There’s no way they’re going to treat a DS-160 that you don’t give to them that day. If u don’t tell them they’re not going to know. all the other DS-160 just stay somewhere in the system and u can access them anytime tol |

VincentTobe: Good evening house, please I have my interview coming up but I initially rescheduled my appointment because my passport wasn’t 6 months beyond the program end date, I applied for a new passport and have completed a new ds160 with the new passport number. Please which one should I give the Vo during interview, the old passport and ds160 or the new passport and new ds160. Also do I need to explain it to the officer once I’m there for the interview. Hello boss @OyoTunjiUSA
Please I need your advice on my situation:
1. In June, I deferred my admission and booked a November, 2024 (for Springs 2025) appointment date on the old platform. My info has been moved to this new platform. But because my passport is expiring next January, I had to do a renewal last month. Now I am unable to update the AVIT portal with my new passport number.
2. I also want to change the DS-160 code I used to book the appointment since there's been some changes in my profile. I am also considering going with another school that has given me admission and better funding. I remember we used to put school details in the old CGI portal, which I'm unable to do in this AVIT system.
Considering the new system, please how best would you say is best to go about these two issues?
Thank you. 🙏 |

Hello bosses, Please I need your advice on what to do. I got some funding for an MSc program but still have 8K deficit. I have been working for some years, so I plan to use my personal account to cover 4k and my uncle will be covering the remaining 4K. Please what do you think about this please? Is this a good path to follow, or could doing that affect my chances for an approval? Would having all the money in personal account be an advantage? Thanks so much in advance for your helping me out with your advice. Thanks.

Amen. Many thanks, boss. Alakoriomo: Please don’t take MPower loan to the US consulate in Nigeria. That can work in other countries
The best would be your own money, follow by sponsors money like your parents
While it’s important that you take proof of funds to the embassy, the VO won’t necessarily look at it. So it depends on how well you’re able to articulate your case when asked about how you’re going to pay your deficit.
Likewise, $8k deficit isn’t that much. Stop panicking, your visa will be approved by Gods grace |

Please what if you get some funding, but still have about 8k deficit. How best can one show proof of ability to cover the remaining cost, to increase the chances of one's visa getting approved? Personal account? Relative (mum, dad ,uncle, etc.) or Mpower loan? Thanks in advance for your response. Alakoriomo: Congratulations. This is huge. All glory to God first.
Now, please don’t look for any alternative funding source yet. Ask your department whether they have GA/TA position in place. Usually, department have this fund for you so that your tuition can be waived and you can get paid stipend every month while u study. Also, the chance of visa approval is high when u secure some funding.
Email the graduate coordinator. I think for u to secure admit at this time when it’s already late mean that you’re on to better things ahead.
Congratulations once again. UF is no mean feat |

Thanks so much for the pointers. Hannania: Valuable things take sweat and hardwork to gain.
Let me give you an example of how you can dig this information personally. Let's say Germany for example:
1. Go to the immigration website for the country, look at different immigration routes for third world nationals, and see if there's an exception for Nigeria (We don cast). If there's none, read the requirements and jot down the ones you think you're eligible for.
2. Go to the consulate website here in Nigeria, then look for the visa checklist for that immigration route you found. If there's anyone you miss, then find a way to fill in the gap.
3. Ask and research what the timeline for that visa is, cost implications and alternative routes to reduce waiting time.
With the 3 steps above for all 27 countries in Europe(as a sample) I assure you you'll be confused on the options because of the overwhelming possibilities.
Other Africans have been utilizing the Ausbildung system in Germany for example. Straight out of highschool to study nursing while getting paid. They graduate, work for a year or two, then move to Canada or Australia.
Ps: they start studying the language in the finals. You can see what information can do |
Travel › Re: Can't Afford Study Route, Please Advise by dgee1(m): 11:06am On Mar 05, 2024 |
Bro, it's difficult to get that kind of info because most of them are gated and aren't really readily available online. Once some folks get some of those routes, they become "travel agents" and you'll have to pay through your nose for them to help you. God knows I need that kind of info right now. It's just been tough and frustrating knowing what to do with the rising cost of japa. Hannania: There are countless opportunities to Japa without using student route. Dig deeper, and you'd be amazed at the information out there. Language can be a barrier early on, but you can always do "Japa version 2.0" |
