Romance / Re: Life Is Getting Boring Everyday by dgee1(m): 11:40pm On Aug 10, 2019
At least you have a job, bro. Life is more than boring and frustrating without a job. I'm deep in that shit right now and it's very ugly. Getting very difficult to remain positive.

jrobbins:
You said nothing but the truth. Boring here, work, close, take a sip of wine, see news, sleep and wake up early again for work. Trash

Hmmmm.....May God help us.

ImaIma1:

True talk. I was on a forum and I realized that a large number of people earn between 35k to 50k as graduates. How is someone supposed to comfortably build a family on that.

The employers make them believe "there's no job out there". A big lie. It is well.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by dgee1(m): 2:04pm On Aug 02, 2019
Bro, how much will it cost me to get that type of your headphone?

hausadreturn:
Thought as much. That keyboard, I wonder how guys excel in it. No wonder I haven't used a phone in 4 like months.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by dgee1(m): 1:59pm On Aug 02, 2019
Kudos, bro. How many of those FC UK calls do you normally do, on average, in a day?

Biggieboy:

If u are new on qa and u are still struggling with 2's and 3's, I won't advise u to pick any fc uk call. With time, when u get better and start getting back to back 4's and 5's then u can just decide that this week the only calls i'll pick will be fc uk calls. Before u know it, after like 1 to 2 weeks u'll start getting used to it.

I don't work on CLH calls till now because it's just not worth it. At least fc uk, their pay is higher than normal...
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by dgee1(m): 8:23am On Aug 02, 2019
AS Hausadreturn said, please say something to us, bro grin. Thanks.

Biggieboy:
My qa payment for this week.

It could have easily been over $90 if all my calls were rated before cut off...

Making $100 a week on qa is not really a big ish like some people here feel. Once u take ur time to study and find ways to improve then you'll definitely be able to cash out big on a weekly basis.

For those asking if qa transcription can be a full time; Yes, it definitely can if u put ur heart to it.

For those that believe the platform is rigged against Africans; I am an African(Nigerian) and I made $81 last week (minus bonus) with back to back 5 and 4 ratings. If you believe they edit ur transcript after u submit, trust me, you will get frustrated and won't be able to take full advantage of qa transcription.

The tin dat has really kept me going is the fact dat I believe whatever a filipino can do, I can do much better because I am a Nigerian

It's a very horrible situation to be in, especially when there is that societal pressure hanging on one's shoulder. Horrible is an understatement infact lol. I am the shy type and hate to bother people for anything but I have amazed myself by some of the people I've spoken to,called, emailed, begged stylishly( so humiliating! lol), some of them are complete strangers. Again lesson learnt/being learned.

When you have no 'connection' in Nigeria, you are an orphan of a kind.

byrron:

I also shared my thoughts based on personal experience too.

I now tell people to stay in their job while searching for another job and you only quit a job only when you have an immediate replacement.

If you quit a job without an immediate replacement then you will come to find out that searching for a job is also a job in itself grin grin

I learnt this lesson in a very very hard way. Still paying for it.

byrron:

If you can survive without the job pending when you get another one then you can quit but if survival will be too difficult if you quit now then my advice will be to stay in the job while still searching.

You only quit a job when you have an immediate replacement though there are exceptions to this rule though.

I don't know why I usually get angry when I hear people talk about the word "job," or "tribe."

I only give one type of advice and that is: acquire a lucrative digital skill that'll fetch you money while you sleep.

Anything that doesn't fetch you money while you sleep is slavery.

Please what do you mean by billing address and where is the billing address at on one's Paypal account page? I was to be sure it is in order before going for my Card. Thanks

nwafresh:

With my experience so far, i guess it will help a lot folks that are yet to get their prepaid card..

1. Make sure that your billing address on paypal will be the same with the one you'll fill during the card application. If your PayPal address is not correct, you can edit it (i edited mine)
2. Request for the card from the customer service before he starts filling the details online. Once the card is with you, check the back of the envelope and see if what is written is INTERNATIONAL HIGH. if not, don't allow the personnel to continue with the process online.(i had same issue. I didn't check the back of the envelope and the guy ended up giving me LOCAL HIGH. So please ensure you collect the card envelope and check before he proceeds )
3. If the account (INTERNATIONAL HIGH) is successful, ensure you deposit at least #2000.

4. Once step 1-3 is correctly followed, you can now proceed with both the linking and confirmation.

Shout out to thorrvik55, OBI. I'm loyal sir.

Oh really? I am giving it another shot again. Thanks for your words.

hausadreturn:
You shouldn't be now. They are no longer as stone-cold as they used to be.
They're now lenient.

Imagine, when you have a poor rating, you have the grace to redo it.
It wasn't like that before, remember?
This is arguably one of the best times to take advantage.

Oh, thanks so much. I use a laptop though.

If you are using a smartphone download hackers keyboard from the app store.
When you want to reduce the speed, put it on landscape and press Fn.

Use Fi to reduce volume and F2 to increase it.

How do you reduce audio speed from 1x to 0.7x?

D1uncle:

It's hard work but it's do able. At this stage go through the FAQ over again. And play audio 0.7X instead of 1X

I really feel ashamed to see this angry. I've been on this thread for more than two months but I've always been discouraged by terrible ratings, the little cents I get paid after hours of work and epileptic power supply around here. You are right, patience and hard work it is. Well done, bro.

D1uncle:
Thanks to Housadreturn.
Seem like only yesterday I was asking him how to go about passing my first work after passing the test. I had for 1 and several 2. But he thought me. And now I knew I got it. It's just patience and hard work but is do able

Yes, you are absolutely right. I'm looking for a person from whom I could learn how to make money online, since I am presently not working. I'm not 'after' anyone ( this sounds to me as if I am out to manipulate whoever....). I quoted and asked that you mentor me when I read what you wrote about 'slapping people with your mind and having little competition in what you do'. I though it was an online work.

Thanks for the clarification and for even wanting to mentor in another way but making some money online is the priority right now till something better comes up.

budaatum:

Is mentoring connected to reading? Of course it is! How else would you learn?

I checked some if your posts and think you are after someone to mentor you in money making. If I'm correct, then I'm afraid I'm not the mentor you need. Follow and read some of my posts and we'll see where you're going.

budaatum:

When was that? 1824? No one minds that I'm Nigerian. I just slap people with my mind and watch jaws drop. I think the fact that many are so dumb is what does it. When more Nigerians upgrade and stop their scamming I'm sure I'd have competition. Till then oysters is the world.
