Do you have 'personal' friends/acquitances on NairaLand?

I dont have and would like to have genuine, persons as friends irrespective of gender. What about you; who would you want as a friend?

Christianity EtcDid God Create Money? by dgreatrock(op): 10:57am On Mar 11, 2009
considering what people go through, do or experience just to have money i sort of wonder such thing was really created by God.
One is never satisfied with it, if you have a $1,000, today you find yourself seeking for $2,000 in the next instance. i dont know how it is with you and what your views might be, but i cant stop wondering if God created it.

Lagosboy by your explanation, you mean if the woman was young, it'll be okay to beat her? A widow? in a country where women are given less opportunity to work?  How about those getting stoned? Truth remains truth Islamic laws are barbaric.

Stop trying to be blind to issues that confronts you. You are quick to quote the Quran verses that favours your view. What about the Al Surat? That talks about beating your wife? Use a long stick, don't beat her too hard, she can cry but don't cause bruises. Isn't that in you  Surat chapter 4 verse 34? You developed Amnesia on that one? Stop talking as if your mohamed is a saint, murdafucka married a 9 years old kid and here you are praising him. You are just blinded by this religion  of a thing. Open your eyes African man, open your eyes!! You be African, and nothing can change that. Open your eyes!! Read the Quran or bible with a critical mind and you'll see that they are both false and fictions. Go and study Ifa.
Islam is not considerate nor mindful of individual's fundamental rights. it is a pity.

Christianity EtcRe: Where Does T.b. Joshua Get His Money From? by dgreatrock(op): 9:38am On Mar 11, 2009
Muslim leaders (imams) should always take charge of the poor's welfare. the rate of the beggars in their midst is alarming while the rich gives them peanuts. at the end of the day people like lagosbb will be condemning christians for taking care of the mess they created.

Lagosboy:
What would by my Return on investment grin grin
Four virgins in paradise. lol

Lagosboy:
Zakat is an obligation in islam. It is a shame there is no proper or singular Zakat body in Nigeria where the zakat could channeled to the actual needey. There are very few people who pay the zakah as many imams dont collect it and dont enforce it. These imams are safe guarding themselves from the wrath of God since they they have to account for every penney and how it was utilised.

It is only when there is an organised zakah body in form a a charity organisation could the real needy benefit on a massive scale. Having said this many muslims pay their zakat themselves by passing it to the needy directly which could be done in our society.

The imams dont demand nor charge zakah because it is not their duty to collect it but the duty of the overall leader of the muslim state.
@ Muslim Quarters
Somebody said Someone will do it but at the end no one did it. tongue
