@poster
dont mind the guy,all he is trying to do is play into the collective pshyche of majority of the south africans, so that he will be shown some mercy, lets forget about the nigeria issue for a second
is he saying he hoestly doesnt recognise one of their biggest stars?its like a nigerian saying they dont know 2 face or dbanj or osuofia in london guy.

and even if he doesnt for some reason, lucky dube clearly doesnt look nigerian in any way shape or form, least of all the rasta hairdo, for their sake i just hope the judges dont fall for that excuse
He is appealing to the 'hatred factor' in the mind of the average south african which naturally hates nigerians.

FamilyIs It Right To Impregnant A Lady Before Marrying Her? by dgreatrock(op): 10:54am On Feb 03, 2009
i met a lady yesterday whom i have known for a long while, and asked about her marital status. She told me she is still single and searching. when i asked why, she said the guys always wanted to have sex and confirmed that she is ok by, first getting pregnant.

i was shocked because i have never heard about such thing before, that a lady must be pregnant before marriage. Is this right; is it morally justified; can it be said that there is real love in such relationship?

It seems the latest trend is for Governors to marry Yaraduas, its almost a government policy

So i am asking who is next, Fashola, Shekarau or Saraki

http://naijareports..com/2009/02/shekarau-fashola-to-marry-yaradua.html
How many governors are there in the north? add them up and subtract the ones whose names are already on the list. the balance gives you the answer.

Sweetheart it is the same belief. They have the seven sacraments just as we do and they are: Baptism, Holy Communion, Confirmation, Holy Matrimony, Holy Orders, Confession and absolution, Anointing of the sick. Those are the sacraments in the Catholic church. They also believe in the real presence in the eucharist. They also believe in saints.
They celebrate Mass as Catholics do.
They have the same creed as we do, and yes in the creed they believe in the Catholic church. The creeds are the apostles' creed, the nicene creed, and the athanasian creed. They haven't changed since the Church adopted the creed.

They view Mary as the Mother of God, even though majority of the lower anglicans try to avoid that issue. And yes they pray to her as well as the other saints.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglican_Marian_theology

So like I said, they have the same beliefs, they just answer to the King of England through the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Anglicans are Catholics, they're just afraid of standing up for their beliefs.
i strongly disagree with you! these were the same lies the roman catholics told anglican converts when the gospel was just brought to nigeria. they lied that the catholic church which is said in the creeds means the roman catholic church!
this is not true. check your dictionary, 'catholic' means 'universal' as well as 'a church denomination'. in the context of the creed, it is referring to 'a universal church'.

the sacraments you mentioned are not properties or trademarks of the roman catholic church, but practices which are rooted in the scriptures and of spiritual and material benefits to the church.

we dont believe in the real presence of christ in the Lord's supper, hence we dont refer to it as a 'mass'.

we believe in in saints but dont revere and rely on them for prayers and spiritual support. they were as we are and as they are we will be someday. only CHRIST can save us.

and concerning Mary, emmmm!!!
we thank God she was the vessel God used to give birth to Jesus, but that does not give her any place in the Godhead! praying to her and or the saints is idolatery, it is unscriptural and error. Anglicans dont and will never pray to her!

thank God for the roman catholic church - God used her to herald the gospel, but she is in error today. such errors should be corrected and not applauded.

Nigeria Airways

Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen. This is your captain (Boniface) welcoming you on board of Nigeria Airways. We apologize for the four-day delay in taking off, it was due to bad weather and some overtime I had to put in at the bakery. This is flight 126 to Lagos. Landing in Lagos is not guaranteed, but we will end up somewhere in the south. If luck is in our favor, we may even be landing on your village!

Nigeria Airways has an excellent safety-record. In fact our safety standards are so high that even terrorists are afraid to fly with us!

It is with great pleasure; I announce that since starting this year over 50% of our passengers have reached their destination. If our engines are too noisy for you, on passenger request, we can arrange to turn them off!

To make your free fall to earth pleasant and memorable, we serve complimentary Bongo tea and Okin biscuits! For our not-so-religious passengers, we are the only airline who can help you find out if there really is a God!

We regret to inform you, that today’s in-flight movie will not be shown as we forgot to record it from the television. But for our movie buffs, we will be flying right next to Al Barka, where their movie will be visible from the right side of the cabin window.

There is no smoking allowed in this plane. Any smoke you see in the cabin is only the early warning system on the engines telling us to slow down! In order to catch important landmarks, we try to fly as close as possible for the best view. If, however, we go a little too close, do let us know. Our enthusiastic co-pilot sometimes flies right through the landmark!

Kindly be seated, keep your seat in an upright position for take-off and fasten your seatbelt. For those of you who can’t find a seatbelt, kindly fasten your own belt to the arm of your seat …and for those of you who can’t find a seat, do not hesitate to get in touch with a stewardess who will explain how to fasten yourself to your suitcase."

Enjoy Nigeria Airways
[/b]
you no good o!

RomanceValentine Day: Why The Much Ado by dgreatrock(op): 8:12pm On Jan 30, 2009
every year, once it is getting to february, there is this over blown sensation in the air - the excitement of valentine day. i see it as a deliberate strategy which was engineered to hoodwink the female folk into falling into the ploy of the men. they are made to believe that they are loved and cared for but at the end of the day, when sexual intercourse has been achieved the ladies are left broken hearted, disappionted, and ruined!

please watch your steps, dont be deceived by any - be a man or woman, valentine day is not all to life

When the prodigal son rebelled against his father and left the household to his detriment, he later came back to his Father when he realized that he was dinning with pigs! Pls , I am not calling the homosexuals pigs but read between the lines! The Anglican Bishops like that prodigal son must go back to the Pope and ask for forgiveness and fatherly blessings! They must openly admit the sin of Henry V111 and ask heaven and earth to forgive him! That the 1st step of uprooting the seed of "protests" in the Anglican Church!
That there are hmosexuals in the anglican fold does not mean we are all homosexuals.
we pray for those who are involved that God will give them repentant hearts. that as it may be, caused the fracas between the church of nigeria and other provinces in the communion. we of the church of nigeria cannot and will not accept anything that contradicts God's command to His children.

we are aware of roman catholic fathers who have sexual relationships with children. stop thinking that your church is free from the problems satan is firing against God's church.

finally, know that the pope is not the answer to problems in the anglican church or any other church irrespective of the deregatory nomenclatures you will ascribe to them.

FamilyRe: Please Tell Me How To Make My Marriage A Happy One by dgreatrock(m): 3:23pm On Jan 26, 2009
i believe you need a counsellor. if possible ask your pastor for guidance.
many things could have been responsible for your husband's changed nature. one includes the post marital stress spill over which are overwhelming him; maybe you need to make more happier by making the house a home for him; ensure your home is clean, give him his meals when it is time to eat; try not to over sleep; please do not nag, though he is pushing to do so and never deny him sex when he asks for it - though you are worn out. be romantic (whatever it means to you).

pray always. let it be the first thing, the second thing, and everything to you. prayer can turn things around for you.
you may post your prayer requests in the religion thread.

it is well
