lucabrasi:He is appealing to the 'hatred factor' in the mind of the average south african which naturally hates nigerians. |

Thanks for looking this far. i have a very important task for you. there are some topics / threads which in my opinion should not have existed in the first instace, but they are there. some moderators are not aware of them. hence i want us to do this, let's point out these threads/ topics to them so they can do a better job. If you had the power, which thread / topic would you lock down? |
Well, well, well! Valentine day is just around the corner. the fever is catching up on people every where. in your opinion, tell us how best to go about preparing for it and how one ought to celebrate it without having to regret thereafter |
Dont forget to say, ' I Love You', to him every time/day |
We hear! It is politics a man is playing with the life of his kids. ![]() If the ladies are happy with it, fine! We cannot take paracetamol for another man's head ache! |
i met a lady yesterday whom i have known for a long while, and asked about her marital status. She told me she is still single and searching. when i asked why, she said the guys always wanted to have sex and confirmed that she is ok by, first getting pregnant. i was shocked because i have never heard about such thing before, that a lady must be pregnant before marriage. Is this right; is it morally justified; can it be said that there is real love in such relationship? |
ayoola22:How many governors are there in the north? add them up and subtract the ones whose names are already on the list. the balance gives you the answer. |
morpheus24:Hmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
~Lady~:i strongly disagree with you! these were the same lies the roman catholics told anglican converts when the gospel was just brought to nigeria. they lied that the catholic church which is said in the creeds means the roman catholic church! this is not true. check your dictionary, 'catholic' means 'universal' as well as 'a church denomination'. in the context of the creed, it is referring to 'a universal church'. the sacraments you mentioned are not properties or trademarks of the roman catholic church, but practices which are rooted in the scriptures and of spiritual and material benefits to the church. we dont believe in the real presence of christ in the Lord's supper, hence we dont refer to it as a 'mass'. we believe in in saints but dont revere and rely on them for prayers and spiritual support. they were as we are and as they are we will be someday. only CHRIST can save us. and concerning Mary, emmmm!!! we thank God she was the vessel God used to give birth to Jesus, but that does not give her any place in the Godhead! praying to her and or the saints is idolatery, it is unscriptural and error. Anglicans dont and will never pray to her! thank God for the roman catholic church - God used her to herald the gospel, but she is in error today. such errors should be corrected and not applauded. |
please join me in praying a sister. she is complainning that she does not know what she is doing anymore, i.e. she's sort of becoming insane. do pray that God ll deliver her |
abasifo:you no good o! lol the day nigeria airways oga catch u, dem go throw you out wen dem reach 3,000 feet above sea level - that is if them fit fly dat high, sha. |
every year, once it is getting to february, there is this over blown sensation in the air - the excitement of valentine day. i see it as a deliberate strategy which was engineered to hoodwink the female folk into falling into the ploy of the men. they are made to believe that they are loved and cared for but at the end of the day, when sexual intercourse has been achieved the ladies are left broken hearted, disappionted, and ruined! please watch your steps, dont be deceived by any - be a man or woman, valentine day is not all to life |
i am happily married with kids. have you seen the poll result? the singles on this forum are so much! little wonder the high level of junk stuff on some of them ![]() |
i remember now, i have also read the Hornet's Flight - it is a fine a one |

we hear people say we must not judge and some say we can judge others, what is/are your view(s)? do back your point(s) with scriptural backings. |
wait, wait you mean the two of you have turned my thread to a battle ground? ![]() should i go to the united nations to get peace keepers to douse the tension here? ![]() o my God, what shall i do to these folks? ![]() lol |

rotimy:That there are hmosexuals in the anglican fold does not mean we are all homosexuals. we pray for those who are involved that God will give them repentant hearts. that as it may be, caused the fracas between the church of nigeria and other provinces in the communion. we of the church of nigeria cannot and will not accept anything that contradicts God's command to His children. we are aware of roman catholic fathers who have sexual relationships with children. stop thinking that your church is free from the problems satan is firing against God's church. finally, know that the pope is not the answer to problems in the anglican church or any other church irrespective of the deregatory nomenclatures you will ascribe to them. |
i was at the hospital yesterday and i saw a boy afflicted with malaria. do join me in praying for his healing |
@ Said off Hand, those days we were told that saying 'quoting off head' was wrong, and we were corrected to say 'off heart'. now i am seeing 'off hand' first time in my life. please tell me, is this the right way to say this now? |
Let us pray for the Release of God's power on our conscience, that we will have total repulsion for corruption in our various offices and capacities as nigerians |
nanaboi:thanks, what i need includes the following meaning and concepts of dream and dreaming history / origins of dreaming factors that influence dreams/ dreaming philosophical and theological implications of dreams meaning of dreams |
i believe you need a counsellor. if possible ask your pastor for guidance. many things could have been responsible for your husband's changed nature. one includes the post marital stress spill over which are overwhelming him; maybe you need to make more happier by making the house a home for him; ensure your home is clean, give him his meals when it is time to eat; try not to over sleep; please do not nag, though he is pushing to do so and never deny him sex when he asks for it - though you are worn out. be romantic (whatever it means to you). pray always. let it be the first thing, the second thing, and everything to you. prayer can turn things around for you. you may post your prayer requests in the religion thread. it is well |
during service, i noticed a quite huge lady, i mean quite huge in size walking labourously to give her offering. the struggle in the movement caught my attention. she was wearing a shoe whose heels must be about five inches high! i was alarmed! then this question came to me, why all these bother, why wear that which will cause you disomfort and embarrassment? |
