abuc: I doubt this report by The Nation. Amaechi and Nyako are currently members of APC. Of what need will the President reach out to them again? PDP National Leadership and the President strategically shifted the meeting from last sunday due to the intelligence report they receive about the merger move. They wanted to know who will defect and those that will remain.

Let me make it clear here: Aliyu, Lamido, Oyinlola, Segun Oni and others will never join APC. Imagine Oyinlola allowing Ogbeni to control the party in his state and Segun Oni allowing Fayemi to become his Party Leader at Ekiti. One thing you guys don't understand is the imminent fight for power within APC that will emerge within the next 10 months. Most of the power players are too egocentric and will likely want to ferment trouble. Just be watching what will happen between Kwankwaso and Shekarau in Kano next year.

I just hope the National leadership of APC will be able to prevail on some of their key power players...

Domaro: NPL525(nigerian politics 525)semester exam after ASUU strik. Answer the following with respect to engineering and political terms

CPC + ANPP+ ACN = APC and EFCC + ICPC + NPF + GEJ + JEGA + AGPGA = PDP, Find,
(a) (i) Using Pythagoras theorem prove that: PDP < APC.
(ii) Using Almighty Formula where JEGA is constant what is the value of PDP?
(b) If Tinubu and Buhari remains constant and Okorocha varies, what
is the coefficient value of Okorocha in APC?
(c) If PDP is constant, what is the cube root of rigging coefficient? Where pi= 21 > 16
(d) Use the Do or Die theory & explain all the answers above to show that it give you max 2015.

Business / Zimbabwe Gives Nigeria Traders Quit Notice by dhaewood(m): 3:03pm On Nov 25, 2013
Zimbabwean authorities say they have given foreign shop-owners, mostly Chinese and Nigerian nationals, an ultimatum to shut down their businesses by 1 January 2014, hand them over to Zimbabweans or face arrest.

A top official of the black empowerment ministry said only Zimbabweans had the right to run shops that have sprung up across the country and are termed foreign businesses targeted under the nation’s black empowerment laws, the state-controlled Herald newspaper reported Friday.

Permanent secretary for the empowerment ministry, George Magosvongwe, told a Parliamentary committee that the government would enforce regulations which reserve certain sectors of the economy to Zimbabweans on January 1, 2014.

rudedough: [b]Oo-oo Nka dikwa egwu.

Igbos are the wrong set of people to extend a helping hand to. It's either they betray you or they try to overthrow you in the long run. IGBOs don't give/do anything for free. The word "Thank you" doesn't exist in our dictionary.

Let's look at history and compare with other tribes using the same scenario.

The crisis between OPC and AREWA in 2003: I can recall vividly how Hausa Elders and leaders sent trailers, lots of them to pick up their people from Lagos especially women and children.

Meanwhile during the massacre of the IGBOs in the North in 1966, our fellow IGBO transporters suddenly inflated transport fare. Some transporters even went as far as to collect properties in exchange for transport fares. Many IGBOs who neither have money nor properties lost their life in that crisis.

However, prior to the Biafran war, when IGBOs were moving from the SW back to the SE. Transportation doubled, some had to stop at Benin and walk all the way to their villages only because they couldn't afford the full trip.

My grandfather unfortunately was a victim to this, despite that he had paid with his refrigerator. Can you imagine that the price of a refrigerator in 1967 couldn't transport a man and his family including children from Lagos - Owerri? What a shame.

Ojukwu on the other hand, I know IGBOs will be ready to capitalise on this one but I'll say it anyway.

My grandfather was working with the red cross prior to the war. During the war, he served as a medic. He was on the radio 24/7, they were very disappointed when the message came that Ojukwu had absconded and the mantle of power passed on to Effiong.

How can a military general abscond from a war he agitated millions of brave igbo soldiers to undertake?

It didn't end there, he didn't just run away. He took with him his family, all of his properties and even his Mercedes benz 230. He couldn't afford to leave a toothbrush behind while men sacrificed their lives and the lives of their starving children for a just cause.

Brave soldiers lost their properties, lives and sacrificed everything they had for a just cause. What did Ojukwu loose?

He came back from exile and didn't even bother fighting for the lost properties of the IGBOs but for "his own" monies and properties. Fortunately he got all of them back while his igbo brothers lost theirs. So much for an Igbo hero right?

Fast forward to 2013. Lagos State sent 3 letters to the Anambra State Liaison office, an intermediary of the Anambra State Government. Not a single Igbo leader bothered to visit the mental facilities to see their own people but when they were "deported" all hell broke loose.

Who's surprised about this news? Mtscheeew next! Very desperate set of people!!

Ndi igbo anyi weh nsogwu. Tu fia!!!

U NEED TO STUDY AVIONICS, GET ME ON 08026272323 FOR MORE INFO

Avionics are the electronic systems used on aircraft, artificial satellites, and spacecraft.
Avionic systems include communications, navigation, the display and management of multiple systems, and the hundreds of systems that are fitted to aircraft to perform individual functions. These can be as simple as a searchlight for a police helicopter or as complicated as the tactical system for an airborne early warning platform.
The term avionics is a portmanteau of the words aviation and electronics.

Modern avionics
Avionics plays a heavy role in modernization initiatives like the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Next Generation Air Transportation System project in the United States and the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) initiative in Europe. The Joint Planning and Development Office put forth a roadmap for avionics in six areas

Published Routes and Procedures – Improved navigation and routing
Negotiated Trajectories – Adding data communications to create preferred routes dynamically
Delegated Separation – Enhanced situational awareness in the air and on the ground
LowVisibility/CeilingApproach/Departure – Allowing operations with weather constraints with less ground infrastructure
Surface Operations – To increase safety in approach and departure
ATM Efficiencies – Improving the ATM process
Founded in 1957, the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) represents more than 1,300 member companies, including government-certified international repair stations specializing in maintenance, repair and installation of avionics and electronic systems in general aviation aircraft. The AEA membership also includes manufacturers of avionics equipment, instrument repair facilities, instrument manufacturers, airframe manufacturers, test equipment manufacturers, major distributors, engineers and educational institutions.

Aircraft avionics

The cockpit of an aircraft is a typical location for avionic equipment, including control, monitoring, communication, navigation, weather, and anti-collision systems. The majority of aircraft power their avionics using 14- or 28‑volt DC electrical systems; however, larger, more sophisticated aircraft (such as airliners or military combat aircraft) have AC systems operating at 400 Hz, 115 volts AC.[6] There are several major vendors of flight avionics, including Panasonic Avionics Corporation, Honeywell (which now owns Bendix/King), Rockwell Collins, Thales Group, GE Aviation Systems, Garmin and Avidyne Corporation.
International standards for avionics equipment are prepared by the Airlines Electronic Engineering Committee (AEEC) and published by ARINC.

Communications
Communications connect the flight deck to the ground and the flight deck to the passengers. On‑board communications are provided by public address systems and aircraft intercoms.
The VHF aviation communication system works on the airband of 118.000 MHz to 136.975 MHz. Each channel is spaced from the adjacent ones by 8.33 kHz in Europe, 25 kHz elsewhere. VHF is also used for line of sight communication such as aircraft-to-aircraft and aircraft-to-ATC. Amplitude modulation (AM) is used, and the conversation is performed in simplex mode. Aircraft communication can also take place using HF (especially for trans-oceanic flights) or satellite communication.

Navigation
Main article: Radio navigation
Navigation is the determination of position and direction on or above the surface of the Earth. Avionics can use satellite-based systems (such as GPS and WAAS), ground-based systems (such as VOR or LORAN), or any combination thereof. Navigation systems calculate the position automatically and display it to the flight crew on moving map displays. Older avionics required a pilot or navigator to plot the intersection of signals on a paper map to determine an aircraft's location; modern systems calculate the position automatically and display it to the flight crew on moving map displays.
