FamilyRe: Why Women Hide Money From Their Husbands! by dhardline(m): 10:07am On Mar 04, 2017
Same. Reason why world principles only brings about temporary solutions. If we applied the true meaning of love as described in the Bible we will not have need to go into a lot of this discussions on money issues in a home. Don't get me wrong though a man has to provide for his family it's very necessary.

You broke the trust he had now you'll have to bear your cross. If you had exercised a little self control this would not have happened. You have to rebuild that trust all over again with serious commitment and sincerity.

Isn't anything more than one far enough?.
Anyway i like your zeal for abstinence. 4yrs is long enough to believe you will be faithful.
keep it up and God will surprise you one day with what he has for you.
Yes anything more than the only 1 is too much, most time I wish I had remained a Virgin in fact till marriage it would have been much more pleasing to God.
And about what God has for me, am sure He has already done that. wink

That's nice of you. I pray you don't marry a cheat too.
May God grant your wishes provided you won't ever cheat.
I dare not cheat, I fear the wrath of God and His hatred for sin too much for me to even think of giving it a try. Same reason I've been celibate for 4years plus. Give it a try dear and see how God rewards those who diligently seek Him. smiley

Hmmmm, that's nice, even if she cheats on you with your best friend?.
I know I won't marry a cheat,i just have that assurance but if a wife cheats on her husband then they should just follow the Bible principle. Divorce and stay celebrate or forgive her if she repents and still keep her.

So this is just a 'go and chop money office' undecided. What will an 82years old man add to this country especially in this digital age? Sorry to say but there is something seriously wrong with the head of who so ever nominated that man. Chai... What a country.

Christianity EtcRe: The Devils Believe There Is God, Why Wont You? by dhardline(m):
James 2:19
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

When I hear people say they do not believe in God I can't help but wonder why men have decided to be so blind and proud to accept the truth.

The world we live in today is steadily veering off into the Era of artificial intelligence. Elon musk has said that in the future artificial intelligence will be so powerful that they will solve calculations previously impossible to man and they will be able to build replicas and even more advanced copies of themselves. Sounds impossible right? But to me it's so very possible. Now if as a man I design an application/AI for a bank and programmes into it what I want it to do and during use it misbehaves, what do I do? It's either I check for bugs and advice the bank to delete or update to make it do what it was meant to do perfectly.
Now man was created in God's image and was given the privilege to think independently just like AI's will be able to do and giving instructions to obey but he decided to follow the instruction of another and became unable to fulfill his Devine purpose on earth which is to serve God in spirit and in truth and letting Him lead him always.
Now God sent His only begotten son out of the love He had for what He created to take the form of His creation and to die for them so as to save man and reconcile him to God to be able to fulfill his purpose on earth and reign with Him in heaven(which is just like updating a malfunctioning app/AI) but man having free thought says he needs no saving that he's doing good the way he is.

Now let's imaging as a developer you sent updates out for your app cause it has errors/bugs and put a date that if anyone refuses to update by the stipulated time that the app will automatically stop working and hence be deleted from the device and then someone refuses or maybe an Ai refuses to update itself. Will you as the designer be wrong to shut down the app/Ai because you know it has issues?
Well that is the same thing God will do to those who refuse to accept the salvation he has freely given us(not of works lest any man should boast). Destroy them

You think it absurd right at my trying to merge the concept of AI and the concept of man, we'll they are not the same but similar. if man is created in the image of God then it is most likely man will grow and learn and ultimately try to create something similar to himself. Read on the fears arising from the singularity of AI and you'll understand that if things go on without any interruptions(which is not possible) that a time will come when AI will say man never made them and assume we were just here to destroy the world they(AI) have made beautiful.

Man has a lot of issues, unfortunately most of the so called pastors(90 percent or more) are not leading men to the truth/light so as to have true salvation, all they do is motivate people on how to make money and make them think they are saved. If they were teaching the truth Nigeria will not occupy the second most religious and almost the most corrupt country at the same time.

Seun the truth has to be sought and not just sit and listen alone... The way to salvation looks too easy to believe but you can never believe until you have exhausted all your self righteousness and self wisdom. Seek the truth, ask for light with all sincerity and humility and you will receive it. Shalom.
FamilyRe: My Husband Not Talking To Me, Because I Gave A Man Wrong Number by dhardline(m): 4:16pm On Mar 01, 2017
blaise26abj:
You did wrong. Because if u return to the hospital the doctor will still use the opportunity to talk to you. You should have cut it off right there and then because u know why he asked for your number. You really insulted your husband. And stop giving men wrong numbers just tell them no . it shows you don't know how to say no to advances despite being married. He will come around sha

I know some people will come here and say, " why did you tell him? , what he doesn't know won't kill him" , well if u don't get to know what he doesn't like now, you will end up continuing this behavior until he finds out himself and his reaction might be worse than this.
Than you so much for this jare. So saying 'no' is now too difficult cause she does not want to hurt the feelings of the doc. Rubbish.

Nah.. But as at his time of death.. I was in hospital admitted... Seriously....

And all of a sudden he died in the early money before 6am after morning devotion... He was a doctor.. And a pastor.. And my parents first fruit.. He was healthy and still till today we couldn't figure out what killed him.. After he read his Bible and manual.. He sat on the chair holding his phone on his hand.. And off he went!!

So the pain was much that's why I asked God why dint he take me instead... After all... Am a sickle patient and I can die at anytime... So why did he have to take the best and leave the list(me)... Why?
It's up to God to choose who the best and who the least is bro. Just know this: Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. Hold every word close to your heart everyday.

Wetin wan make me cry. I no get family. Papa and mama no know whether I dey exist or not. The last time I go see my mama she send me away say I be wizard I wan take her life. Only child, no bro no sis no cousin no aunty. The place i lived as househelp na so so suffer psychologically, physically, healthwise and original poverty come join. Called on God, God seem far. Wetin eye never see

The only thing weh fit make me cry is to see a very humble lover suffer and apart from tears sef, I'm moved, to act. Unfortunately humble lovers do not exist anymore. What we have are proud lovers..ppl who claim self esteem. Such people their sufferness never complete. If God made them a goat rather than human, I wonder how dem go take show esteem. Pride is pride. Tell a stroke patient who have been bedridden for 12yrs about self esteem, he'll tell you you're speaking a strange language
Wow... This is interesting. You have really seen life and felt the pain.
Your pain thought a lot of lessons some persons might never learn until they find themselves on the hospital bed as a stroke patient just as you mentioned then they will become humble enough to listen and learn. Count yourself lucky bro for in the midst of pain borne patiently wisdom is born. And never think God is far He's always there, no one know why somethings happen but He knows all things. Be strong the more bro.

You know the rest....... That was the day I realised even the strongest of hearts can be broken, tears flowed uncontrollably.

Growing up I always heard this line ‘men don’t cry’ that crying was mostly reserved for women and it really caught on, I guess that’s why even as a child i tried not to cry even when the school teacher gives me some strokes of the cane in front of the entire class just to form ‘strong boy’ that can endure 10 strokes of cane without crying.

Well I actually went on like this until I lost my dad at the age of 17. In fact when I first heard the news of his demise I didn’t shed a single tear cause it all seemed like a ‘home video’ to me (what did a small boy like me know about death) not until a month plus later when he was going to be buried, that was when I realized that this is no movie o that this man I loved so much is going under the earth and I won’t get to see him again. You need to see the tears from my eyes that day; all through I was shedding tears like waterfalls with no breaks. I’ll say that was the first time I cried as man.
After then I had to still caution myself not to cry like that in public again which I really stood by, well not until in my quest to live a most righteous life the Lord revealed the extent and weight of my sin to me…my people, I was in the midst of my brethren and I cried like a new born baby that day, it was as if someone forgot to close the taps in my eyes for almost an hour the tears just kept rolling down. That day passed and I thought that was the last of me crying then came the day I received a promise from the Lord with His Spirit upon me, all alone in my room I experienced what it meant to have tears of joy. This one went on for virtually the whole day though at intervals but with so great joy in my heart like never before.

These days I shed tears easily when singing some hymns that really touches me or when I sin and the burden of that sin comes upon me, it brings tears to my eyes as I ask for forgiveness from God Almighty.
So have you ever cried as man, or do you still think tears are reserved for the women folk?
Kindly share your experiences no matter the circumstance surrounding it.
Remember John 11:35 “Jesus wept’. So it actually takes a strong man to cry.
