Here's a couple of questions to get you started on your quest to discover where the cherry picking comes from. Simple yes or no questions for you.

Are there 613 commandments in the Law of Moses?

Did God, throughout Deuteronomy and in Deuteronomy 30 where He ratifies the Law of Moses, not declare, severally mind you, that the Covenant He made was with those who are of the blood of Jacob(and the foreigners who live in the land of Canaan with them)?

If God makes a Covenant with a particular person, eg. Like His Covenant with Aaron and His family, can anyone simply badge in on the Covenant and be taken seriously by God?

Did Jesus Christ declare to you that He came to offer a light yoke and an easy burden, a covenant agreement which was ratified with the shedding of His blood and the giving up of His life?

Did Jesus Christ declare that those who love Him are only those who obey His teachings/commandments?

If you answered Yes to at least one of the questions above, then you are the one guilty of cherry picking as far as scripture is concerned.

Please, for the sake of your soul and eternity, take your own advice and read through that book, paying close attention to the teachings of Jesus Christ, the New Covenant Law of the Kingdom of God. The fate of your very soul depends on it !

The laws of moses are divided into two (1) the moral law (2) the ceremonial law

The ceremonial law were all laws pointing to the what Christ would do to redeem his people by dying on the cross and resurrecting on the third day. Hence it has been accomplished.
The moral law which consists of Loving God with all our Mind, soul, body and strength and loving our Neighbor still very much applies.

1Cor 6:9-11.Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Understand that it is God who established the institution of marriage in the Garden of Eden by making a woman(Eve) for (Man) Adam. Hence that is the standard of any sexual relations. In the days of ignorance God overlooked but now Commands all the repent. The Christian life involves self sacrifices, the basic understanding that we can actually do without all the world has to offer, it's pleasures, glories, wealth etc. except Our Lord Jesus Christ. Do you not understand what it means that the same power that raised our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in a Christian and gives him the power to overcome sinful desires? Do you not know this? It is not a point of not doing but a total dislike towards sin and anything that dishours God. Unfortunately you can force this or pretend to have it. If it's not there you'll continue to love the sin and only fight with your power to keep away from it which in itself is self righteousness and is sin in God's eyes. If you had ever bothered to in fact pick up that book to read for yourself, you would have discovered, even in Deuteronomy 30, that the old Covenant Law which God gave through Moses was to ONLY those who are born of the blood of Jacob - Almighty God never included you and your roots in that Covenant from the get go. So your following of any of the handful of laws out of the 613 defined within the Law of Moses has been nothing but meaninglessness on your part and God's.

God gave you Jesus Christ, a New Covenant, which He included you and your kind(gentiles) in and He commanded that you trust and obey the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ only.

Jesus Christ, the Law of the Kingdom of God, is the Covenant that defines for us what sin is and what how those who follow Him ought to live, and it is sin to preach otherwise.

It would do you a lot of good if you read the Bible yourself instead, rather than reading some book written by a deceiver who cherry picks what his master the devil has put in his mind. For goodness sakes the Bible is there just read it yourself. Your argument is just too basic sincerely...

The majority of Nigerian churches are in this same boat. Those who use worldly means to draw people to church e.g comedy, worldly songs, sports etc. They feel Jesus Christ is not enough so the use other means and hence will continue to use those means in order to keep them coming. Remember the church is meant to be a gathering of God's people, 'the called out ones' so it's not a place to entertain the goats but to feed the sheep. Becoming more like the world in order to win a soul for Christ has never worked and will never work,instead it creates false concerts who act, live, dress like the world but call themselves Christians. The Church is meant to be totally different from the world, it is that difference that can attract a soul who is in need of salvation. Though it might push him away at first but eventually it will draw him to Christ. The day Nigerias will wake up, more than 90% of this mega churches will go empty.
