✝️ Was Jesus the Only One…? According to Christian belief and scripture: Yes — Jesus (Yeshua) is utterly unique. Virgin birth → Isaiah 7:14 fulfilled Sinless life Crucified Died Resurrected on the third day Declared Son of God, Messiah, and Savior Ascended into heaven Will return again 🔍 CLAIMS OF SIMILAR FIGURES — DO THEY HOLD UP? Over the years, some have claimed parallels between Jesus and other mythological or religious figures — but when you examine the sources, most don’t line up factually. Here's a breakdown: 1. Horus (Egyptian) Claim: Virgin birth, died, resurrected. Truth: Born of Isis and Osiris — Isis conceived him magically, not virginally. Horus was not crucified, and did not die and rise again in the Christian sense. Osiris (his father), not Horus, was the one dismembered and "revived," but not bodily resurrected — he became ruler of the underworld. 🧠 Conclusion: Symbolic rebirth myths, not literal parallels. 2. Mithras (Persian/Roman mystery cult) Claim: Born of a virgin on Dec 25, had disciples, resurrected. Truth: Born from a rock, not a virgin woman. No early texts describe a crucifixion or resurrection. The Mithraic cult post-dates Christianity in its Roman form — 1st-4th century AD. Ritual meal parallels are superficial. 🧠 Conclusion: Some visual similarities, but no historical virgin birth, death, or resurrection. 3. Krishna (Hindu) Claim: Virgin birth, miracles, death and resurrection. Truth: Krishna’s mother Devaki was not a virgin — had multiple children before him. Killed by a hunter’s arrow, not crucified. Some traditions say he ascended, others say his spirit rose — but not a clear resurrection on the third day. 🧠 Conclusion: Mythical elements, but no direct resurrection narrative like Christ’s. 4. Dionysus (Greek) Claim: Virgin birth, died, came back. Truth: Multiple birth stories — some say born of Zeus and mortal Semele (not a virgin). Dismembered by Titans and reborn — but this is symbolic and not tied to historical death/resurrection. No crucifixion, no bodily resurrection on the third day. 🧠 Conclusion: Seasonal death-rebirth cycle myth — not the same as Christ’s narrative. 5. Tammuz/Dumuzi, Baal, Adonis, Osiris, etc. These ancient Near Eastern figures often represent vegetation gods — dying and rising with the seasons. Their "resurrections" were cyclical myths tied to agricultural cycles. No clear historical events, no virgin birth, no moral redemption theme, and no personal bodily resurrection like Jesus. 🧬 WHAT MAKES JESUS UNIQUE? My sincere advice to anyone doing this cbex is simple. Don't be too greedy to put more than you can afford to lose and don't keep your money on the platform, make sure you withdraw daily and remove your initial capital as quick as possible. This same scam ponzi trading scheme came in 2022/2023 using different names including cgtrading, suresh team etc, and lot of people lost thousands of dollars when they decided to pack off. I think they catered away more than 800k usdt from Nigerian users alone base on my research then because I had to trace their receive trc wallet address and I saw how much of the users money those scammers took away. Their trick remain the same, they will continue to bait you with free manipulated signals on the platform until the day they meet their targeted registered users. That is when they will shut down automatic withdrawal and give you a fake signal that will make all of you lost your money. They will come up with some stupid excuse then you will realize you won't be able to withdraw your little remaining funds in their system. Then goodbye to your money and all your referrals will hunt you for life. Don't say I didn't warn you, be wise... |

Will president buhari re-introduce WAI?
As Head of State in 1983 General (now
President) Muhammadu Buhari introduced the
popular war Against In discipline (WAI); it
remained one of the remarkable achievements
of that era and, to me, one of the best policies
of the government so far. I remember with
nostalgia, then as a young lad in primary five,
during the period under review that WAI
gained grounds into the nooks and crannies of
this country to the extent that you dare not do
anything contrary to the law. In the hay days of
WAI, you hardly see people throwing dirt
anyhow; common maize chaff you think twice
before disposing them to where they rightly
belong, irrespective of whether there is WAI
brigade or not.
I also remember vividly, monthly
environmental sanitation was made possible,
with restriction of movement of persons and
vehicles, to ensure compliance. The laws of the
land took its cause and people were confined to
the laws without being compelled to do so. It
is unfortunate that successive governments
jettisoned that lofty policy to the detriment of
the good image it would have given this great
nation; the most popular black nation in the
world. With President Muhammadu Buhari
(PMB) in the helm of affairs, will he re-
introduce WAI, to bring back the desired good
image of the country? Will PMB re-introduce
WAI, to help him fight corruption and
indiscipline that has eaten deep into the fabrics
of the country? When I travelled to Israel in
2011 and Ghana in 2013, I wept for my country
due to the singular fact that discipline is the
order of the day, with all the systems working
for the benefit of the citizens of these
countries. I noticed with envy the Israelites and
Ghanians, were going about their daily
activities with strict compliance to law and
order to keep their countries moving. Now
that Nigeria is very fortunate to have the
desired messiah as its president, there is the
need to call on PMB to re-introduce WAI to put
the country on the right track of development,
to favourably compete with other nations of
the world. PMB needs to re-introduce WAI for
our systems to work to reclaim our lost glory.
Nigerians must wake up with one voice to
rebuke those raising their voices against the
anti-corruption crusade of the present
government aimed at bringing sanity to our
system. All hands must be on deck to support
this lofty idea, to clear the mess, image and the
name of our dear country before the
international community.

let's reason this true life story together. please kindly drop your word of advice after reading.. story title: Betrayal my name is ajayi badmus, I have a best friend named wale and a girlfriend by the name adewumi. I and my friend wale have been best of friends since we were little kids because we grew up from the same neighborhood and attended the same school from primary level to secondary level even until Tertiary institution. I met my girlfriend adewumi when we were in part 1 and we have been in a relationship since that time which make our relationship four years by now cos I am now in 400lev. we are so much in love with each other and even my friend wale can testify to the level of love I have for adewumi; she is my treasure and everything. i never cheated on her for once cos i love her so much and she is a very pretty girl, but notwithstanding we seldomly have our up and down quarrel sometimes and it's wale that always help us to solve any of our quarrels amicably. most of the time I used to give her some upkeep when I have enough cash to spend even without her asking for it but sometimes when I don't have anything to give her she doesn't complain. it happened that about 3months ago she asked me for a particular money which she said she needed for an important thing but I wasn't able to give her at that period in time because I was short of cash myself, I don't really know why but I observed that she wasn't happy because I couldn't get that money for her at that time but she didn't quarrel with me because of it thou. after two weeks when I finally have some money to spear I gave her that same amount of money and she thanked me but she mistakenly mentioned something to me that day that during that time she needed the money she borrowed it from my friend wale and now that I have given her the money she was going to pay wale back. when I heard her said that I got a little confused because wale didn't mention anything at all about lending money to my girlfriend to me and I even discuss with him during the time I couldn't get money to give wumi and how her countenance became sad because of it but all he said was that i should just leave her alone because that is how girls do; he didn't even mentioned anything at all to me and even adewumi did not tell me she borrowed any money from wale until that day she mistakenly mentioned it. I got a little suspicious with the two of them but refused to ask them any further questions. so live goes on until about three wees ago when I got a call from an unknown caller that said my girlfriend adewumi is currently admitted to the hospital, I was so afraid when I got that call so I rushed there only to met her lifeless on the hospital bed. the doctor later confirms that she did abortion for two months old pregnancy. I was so surprised that I opened my mouth and couldn't close it back appropriately. how could my girlfriend be pregnant without my knowledge, even though we normally had intercourse but we used protection at all times except some cases but notwithstanding I believe she suppose to have tell me she was pregnant before going for abortion or taking any decision as my girlfriend if I am responsible for it; she knows i can never agreed to terminating a child life by abortion. I got really confused and i was desperate to find out the root of the matter from her but there is little I can do except to wait until she gets better and she could talk very clearly. her parents were already involved in the matter and they were all sending blame on me without even knowing the root of the matter yet, though they didn't knew me as their daughter's boyfriend before but this incident brought limelight to that. thank God I knew her siblings before, they were the one that resist their parent from taking the matter to the notice of the police but their father keep saying if anything should happened to his daughter I will surely pay for it. I became her nannying in the hospital for almost two weeks she spent there praying and hoping she gets better everyday. during this time it was wale that did my important assignment at school and he would submit them for me after then come to check on her at the hospital. I couldn't even let my parent heard of the matter because I was afraid my father could disown me because of it. To cut the story short, Finally Adewumi regain her health and was able to talk, I was so happy and thank my God for reviving her, I ask her who impregnated her since i was so sure it wasn't me and why she resolved to committing abortion without telling me. She then began to cry and she said that it was the hand work of the devil, that it was wale my bosom friend that forcefully slept with her and raped her about three months ago during the time she needed that money and I couldn't give her, Wale promised to give her the money and she went to his place without telling me so after giving her the money he put something in her drink and force himself on her when she was unconscious but she couldn't tell me about it because she was afraid how I was going to react and she loves me and doesn't want to loose me. A month later she discovered she was pregnant and was so afraid of her discovery that she couldn't tell me about it since it's been more than three months we had something together. she told wale instead and he got into a big argument with her and he denied he has anything to do with it, that i must be the one responsible since I was her boyfriends; she said that is not true since she is not a small child she definitely knows who got her pregnant but when she discover that wale was so adamant and does not want the pregnancy she resort to begging him to give her money for abortion which he did willingly when she threatened him that she will tell me about the whole incident. he even had to take her to a quack doctor who removed the pregnancy for her by himself to concede the truth from looping out to me. After she narrated everything I couldn't say a word but I was angry so i got out of the hospital in search of wale but when I got to his place he was nowhere to be found and I was told he left with some travelling bag and said he was going to abuja to celebrate Christmas and new year with his uncle that morning without telling me me before hand, I knew all he did is running away because he knew that when adewumi regain her health she will definite tell me the truth. I went back home with a shattered, painful and broken heart. I lock myself indoor for 3days without eating, bathing nor picking any calls. I was burried in my thought thinking about adewumi and the incident that happens. I really love her so much but now I need to learn to forget her; of all people why is it wale my closest friend. Three days later after getting over it, I tidy up myself and then put on my phone which has been switched off for three days, the call that came through a second after is a call from adewumi but I refused to pick it. she kept calling and calling me for about 30times but I refused to pick any of her calls. soon her messages which she has sent since three days ago also began to come in one after the other. I opened those messages and I was reading them one after the other. she was pleading to me in tears that I should please forgive her, and that she loves me more than anything and she can't do without me... that she will rather die than to live without me. other messages also came in from her siblings begging me to forgive their sister because they knew she hurt me so much, there was another message that said their father was very sorry and he would like to see me. I find myself at this crossroad and I don't know what to do next suddenly a strange number began to call me. At first I don't want to pick it because I thought it could be adewumi trying to fake me with strange number but I later picked it. after saying the first hello the next thing I heard was is this Mr tunde Ajayi badmus, I said yes and the voice said this is doctor adewale of oau teaching hospital ile-ife. we have one Young man by the name Mr wale olaolu in our emergency ward since three days ago. he was involve in a very fatal accident which Left him in a very critical state, please kindly pass the information to The members of his family. I wasn't sure what happened after that but what I know is that we were already at the prescribed hospital by the following morning. I saw my friend lying on the hospital bed just like that like a zombie, though the doctor told us that his condition has greatly improved yet he barely talks. when he finally opened his eyes to see me, he was just crying like a baby and also pleading that I forgive him because he has wrong me so much. he said that it's true that he forcefully slept with my gf after drugging her but the truth is that she has been collecting money from him at my back for quite some time without my notice but she was refusing to go to bed with him that is why he has to planned her like that. At this point I got even more confused and I don't know what I could do about my best friend and my loving girlfriend; please advise, what should I do? kindly drop your comments and share |

Exploit200:i wonder why most people keep repeating the same sentence that Mr president doesn't obey the rule of law. The man that strongly stated that all looters must be punished according to the law of t.he land and has abide by his statement ever since his reinstatement as the President of this country; please analyse in full, in what way he has not obey the rules of law? |
segebobo:yes you are absolutely right my brother but notwithstanding even if the whole masses should go against the buhari administration because of this just like during the administration of the formal governor of lagos state; governor fasola, who make the enforcement of law and discipline in the state during his regime mandatory for all by all means necessary, yet it's worth a try because at the end of the day the good benefits of it will be of great value and contribution to the development of our great nation Nigeria and if this method of indiscipline incubation is continued by the future administrations after buhari regime am sure in no time this country country will curb every act of corruption an indiscipline that has eaten deep into our root. |
A call for WAI Brigade return in full action to curb indiscipline and immorality in Nigeria...... Since inception of the present democracy, ineptitude, corruption and indiscipline gradually crept into our ways of life eroding the cultural values we held in high esteem such as morality and discipline. The tendency to accumulate wealth through any means has been foisted on the young ones and everybody is scrambling to get their share of the national cake. The penchant for easy money has beclouded our creativity and innovative capacity. In all facets, economic, political, social and religious, corruption had found ways to permeate our daily endeavours. The traffic gridlock that Lagos State is experiencing now is due to indiscipline of motorists and this has extended to Abuja. Aso Villa Drive which is within precinct of government area experiences early morning and evening rush due to indiscipline of civil servants, armed forces, police and other citizens. Such attitude by some Nigerians portray us as citizens lacking in orderliness and respect for simple rules. Recently, the police and road safety officers were drafted to maintain orderliness. This has led to free flow of traffic in the area. This scenario justified the clamour for imposition of sanctions on Nigerians that break the laws of the land. The desirability of imposing sanctions on those that broke the law can draw reference on what the government of former governor Fashola of Lagos State did to motorists to create orderliness on the road. Lagosians then started to imbibe the culture of queueing at bus terminals, thereby maintaining orderliness to the extent that those always be in hurry started abiding by the rules. This has been replicated in other areas in the state. However, when the new governor, Akinwunmi Ambode came on board, his pronouncement on LASTMA, which was misconstrued, created avenue for some Nigerians to go back to their former ways of indiscipline. An observation depicted that the following attitudes constitute act of indiscipline, like rushing into buses; driving against traffic; littering the streets, jumping the queue; taking undue advantage of scarcity to inflate prices; public nuisance; lack of commitment to duty; absenteeism; forgery; impersonation; and lack of care for children and elderly to mention a few. In retrospect, the military regime of Muhammadu Buhari and Tunde Idiagbo in 1983-84 supported the argument by public commentators that effective execution and imposition of sanctions on those that breach the rules would curb the desire of Nigerians to go against law. During that period, Nigerians imbibed the spirit of queueing and taking their turn while carrying out their daily activities. WAI was inaugurated on March 20, 1984 to address the lack of public morality and civil responsibility in the society. The Federal Ministry of Information ensured the message of orderliness was taken to all Nigerians. The beauty of the period was that the “WAI Brigade” ensured that rules and regulations were observed in collaboration with security agencies. It is common among Nigerians traveling outside the country to be miffed with attitude of our elites who abide with rules and regulations of other countries but refuse to comply with the rules in Nigeria. The inability of successive governments from 1999-2015 to sanction erring Nigerians and organisations involved in acts of indiscipline has encouraged impunity to continue in the country. Not only that, past governments continue to choose judgments of the court they would comply with without knowing that their action is eroding rule of law in the country. With the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, things have started looking up. It is no more business as usual. It is a reality that this government will not condone indiscipline and corruption. It is imperative for government agencies such Federal Ministry of Information and Culture and Education to charge their various departments to take the message of “Change” to all nooks and corners of Nigeria. Inculcation of civil responsibilities and public morality should be one of learning foundations for our children in educational institutions. Government should support institutions that will sustain the tempo of discipline and change through effective funding. The appointment, deployment and termination of appointment of institutions such as Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences (ICPC) and Code of Conduct Bureau should reside with the National Assembly so they would be able to perform their duties without fear or favour. There is need to change the attitude of Nigerians to work and core values such as orderliness; meritocracy; political neutrality; integrity; discipline; professionalism; patriotism; impartiality; anonymity; accountability and transparency. For Nigerians to enjoy dividends of democracy, the act of indiscipline has to be jettisoned. We should also embrace “Change”. Once everyone embraces discipline, we would have the courage to challenge unpopular governments at local, state and federal level. So it's imperative for the current ruling government of president Muhammadu buhari to re-inaugurate the War against indiscipline (WAI) force again in other to curb the effecting act of immorality and indisciplinary behaviours among the citizens of this country Nigeria. And the masses as well should support the decision of the government and join hand in hand together with the agency in other to push this country to the next level. Addiction chapter 154 We were in the middle of the service when my phone began to vibrate in my pocket. Bidemi was still siting beside me. I dont know who rhe caller maybe that was calling me in the middle of church service. I decide to brought out my phone to check who the caller was. I saw that it was the same ubknown number that called me the previous night; I already had it in mind that i will be calling that same number again later but now that the person is calling me again i wonder who it may be. I decided to off my phone because i hate any form of distraction when i am in the present of God. Bidemi was looking at me the whole time but she didn't say a word. finally it was time for the Adeboye's to give their thanks and praises to God. The pastor called them out and every friends of the Adeboye's including my family and almost every members of the church join them in dancing to the alter. the organist and the drummers were doing a great job and I was enjoying the beautiful song from the choir master's beautiful voice which sounds very clearly from the speakers. I began to dance freestylely with Bidemi to the alter like a newly married couple until I suddenly stopped to take a better glance at a curvy bottock girl who was dàncing like okoto very close to me. The way this girl flaunt her asset in the church no be small thing at all. Almost all the young guys of my calibre in the church have their eyes fixed on her. I Wonder where she came from sef because I have not seen her around in church before, this would be my first time of even seeing her at all. I was still looking at this mysterious girl with big ukwu when bidemi suddenly tap me on my back and she told me to look forward and concentrate on the matter at hand in her jealousy manner. I wasn’t sure if anybody was actually looking at us at that moment but I felt a little embarrassed because of the way she reacted to me among the crowd when she said femi face front. But instead of showing any form of anger towards her I just smile mischievously before she began to lecture me on some manner that I don’t have while the dancing and merriment in the church is still going on. Bidemi: (looking at me with one kind eye). Why are you looking at that girl like that when I am here Femi, is she more beautiful than I look? Or what do you see in her that I don't have. I can even dance better than she does Me: (omo, see this girl again o. trying not to get angry because I already knew her behavior and I don't want to prolong the issue so I quickly think of an excuse to discharge her. but for my mind I dey think say is she my mother and what stupid question is she asking me in the church). Am sorry please dear, It's not what you think. Am only looking at her because she looks like someone I knew from somewhere. Bidemi: (not convinced). You knew this girl from somewhere femi, I don’t believe you. Me: (calm and voice low) did I said I knew her from somewhere or that she looks like someone I knew from somewhere. Don't let us prolong this matter that doesn't matter please bidemi because we are in the church. Bidemi: (smiling) hmmmmm..grammarian okay, but just face front. Me: (smiling). Okay ma, I will. We both concentrate on the main events going on in the church and Mr. Adeboye was asked to share his testimony. He took the microphone from the pastor and he began to narrate everything that happened to him within the past few weeks but everybody else except the Adeboyes’ family alone were already sitting down at their different position as Daddyk gave the the full testimony of his miraculous recovery which was the main reason for the thanks giving service of the day. I was sitting on my sit and I could see Bidemi and Kikelomo starring at me from the alter where they were standing and their daddy was giving his testimony. But all my attention was concentrated on the mysterious girl who I haven’t even known her name yet by then. My thought was fixed on how to get intouch with this girl after the service to ask about her details and to get to know her more. I was deeply in thought that I didn’t know that mr adeboye has finished up his speech, it was the sound of the keyboard with music that brought me back to my feet again. Everybody began to dance from their sitting position towards the alter again in other to congratulate the Adeboyes' for God's grace in their life and family. I also went to the alter to greet the Adeboyes' but I was monitoring the mysterious girl with one eye. I saw that she was standing but she couldn't move towards the alter to congratulate the Adeboyes' like other members of the church; I thought maybe it'Swiss because she is a newcomer in the church and she doesn't know the Adeboyes' before. Everybody soon went back to their respective sitting position. Snack and can malt drink was shared by the Adeboye’s family to every members of the church before the service finally came to an end. I already got one package of the take away from those that were distributing it but bidemi got me two more packages extra to show how much she cared for me. Kikelomo was just busy going up and down in the church after receiving a lot of hugs from people. I gave the snacks i got to bidemi for her to keep them for me while i still maintain my sitting position but Bidemi was back to her sit by my side so i was a bit restricted to do anything funny. After the closing prayer everybody including my family members began to hug and shake Daddyk and his family to congratulate them for what God has done for them again. Bidemi has also left my side by then, I quickly think of using that opportunity and the distraction in the church to find a way to get in touch with the mysterious girl but I couldn’t find her anywhere in the church again, I search where she sat before but she was not there again. I began to go up and down in the Church but she was nowhere to be found. I rushed out to check if she left the church after the closing prayer but I couldn’t find her anywhere around the church premises again. my head begin to get hot because I was seriously thinking where she could have disappeared to in a twinkle of an eye. I got sad and depress a little but I headed to the parking garage where our car was parked. I got there and I saw the Adeboyes and my family with some other church members still exchanging greetings but they were all standing close to the adeboye’s car, immediately bidemi saw me she rushed to my direction to ask me where have been to and that my parents have been asking after me from her. I told her I was chating with the guy that beat the drum inside the church, she doesn't seems convinced so she asked me what I was discussing with him. I told her that I love the way he beat the drum set, that I wish to learn from him. She laughed before we both move to join both our families. I greeted everyone including my parents and my mummy ask me where I have been. I told her the same story and Bidemi backed me up. Everybody began to laugh when they heard that I said I want to learn how to beat drum-set which was a lie. Kikelomo crack some joke about me that if I learn how to beat drum that I will propably be a lousy drummer and everybody including me began to laugh again. The happiness that showed on the face of mummyk, bidemi and kikelomo were incomprehensible; everyone could noticed at once that they were very happy today because of the thanksgiving event; but come to think of it who wouldnt be very happy about something like that when God miraculously speared the live of their bread winner in the family after been poisioned at work. The Adeboyes' sure has a cause to thank God. finally, the Adeboye entered their car and get set to go home before my mum told me that we would also be going directly to the Adeboyes' house because the pastor will also be going there to pray for them again at home; As a friend of our family we have to stay with them till the end. We all entered into our car for the trip to the Adeboyes' house. Baddo was suposed to drive but he said he won't be following us to the Adeboyes' house because he has somewhere else to go so he allowed me to drive after taking permission from our daddy to enabled him to get down on our way to the Adeboyes house and head to where he was going. Addiction chapter 153 I was awake the following morning on Sunday at 5a.m exactly by a very disturbing stomach upset so I had to rush to the toilet. I didn't wait for so much time after I got out of the toilet before I dashed to the bathroom for my morning drill. I was already get set for church by 6a.m. just had to wait for my family members also to be ready. I checked my phone and I saw 7missed calls. 4missed calls from bidemi and the other 3missed calls from an unknown number. I know bidemi must have called me when she got back last night and her sister relayed my message to her but I couldn't pick because I was far asleep. But the other strange number I wonder who the caller might be. I don't want to make an early morning call so I decide that I will be seeing bidemi at church so it's not necessary to call her again. And as for the other strange caller I decide to call the person back when I get back from church service. By 7am all my families were ready and we were set to go. We all entered inside my father’s new Prado jeep and badoo was the one that drive the car while I sat by his side in the front and Funmilayo sat with our parents at the back sit. Baddo drove the car to the church parking garage where he parked the car before we all got out of it. Immediately i stepped out of the car the first person i saw was bidemi accompany by her sister kikelomo. The two of them were rushing to our direction from the right side of the parking garage where the Adeboye's parked their own car. They just arrived at the church as well that mean both our families just arrived at the same time. The look of the two sisters were so elegant. They both wore Ankara gown which is of the same type with their parents own. They look so beautiful in that dress with the little make ups they had on their face that i find it hard to take my eyes off them both at the same time. They both got to where we parked our car and greet my parents and my brother and sister before they resumed to greeting me. I greeted both of them warmly with a hug before I left with them both to the church after leaving my parents and baddo with funmilayo to exchange greetings with mummyk and their daddy. As we were going to the church I began to compliment their beauty. Me: (smiling). You girls are looking so beautiful and gorgeous in these your Ankara dress o. your extraordinary beauty is what make you both unique and special to me Kike&Bidemi: (both smiling and giggles) hmmmmm, thank you femi Me: (smiling) you don't have to thank me you know, because as am looking at you girls right now you are the most beautiful girls in this whole congregation Kikelomo: (laughing) hmmmmn, femi you and this your sweet mouth, you are flattering us Me: (smiling) you know I can't ever flatter you my dear, you girls are too beautiful for that. Kikelomo: (smiling) hmmmmn, femi you ain't looking bad yourself. BIDEMI was just laughing as me and kikelomo continue the conversation until she suddenly butt into the middle of our discussion Bidemi: (starring at me) Femi why didn't you pick all my missed calls yesterday? I called you many times in the afternoon but you refused to pick and again in the night when I came back from where me and my mummy went to and kikelomo told me you called but she picked the calls for me; I called you back immediately but you still didn't pick up. Me: (sorry face) I am very sorry Bidemi, I already explained why I couldn't pick your calls in the afternoon to your sister yesterday when I called you and I hope she has relayed my message to you; It was because I was very busy, my Dad asked me to ironed some clothes for him and i also have some other house chores to do. And I called you back immediately when I had the chance but you too couldn't pick because you were also not available. And when you called back at night I was already sleeping. Bidemi: (looking convinced). Okay, but I was just really missing you that yesterday and I want you to come over to our place because you promised to come when you came back from visiting chidinma with your mummy, by the way how is she doing, has she gotten better?. I never wanted to prolong our conversation to the extent where Chidinma's name will be mentioned at all in the first place because I don't want kikelomo to find out that Chidinma was sick and me and my mummy went to her place to greet her(which is even a lie) but immediately I heard Bidemi mentioned chidinma name in front of kikelomo I know things may actually go wrong, as a sharp guy that I am, I was already going to say something to curb the conversation from getting unnecessarily prolong before kikelomo cut me off. Kikelomo: (sounding worried) what happened to my friend chidinma, femi? Bidemi didn't allow me to answer before she gave a reply to her sister. Bidemi: (facing Kikelomo) femi said she was very sick at home yesterday and that him and his mummy were going to her place to greet her. Kikelomo: ( still sounding worried while starring at me). Femi is it true? What is wrong with my friend?. My heart beat has become so fast now, I wasn't expecting the issue to expose like this. Am sure Kikelomo will definitely call chidinma to find out about everything and that may lead to a lot of trouble from chidinma if she finds out that I lied about her. I may be able to solve chidinma problem because I know how to handle her very well but if Bidemi should find out that everything I told her yesterday was just a lie am sure (wahala go happen o). I was about to reply Kikelomo but not really sure of what to tell her; either I should confirmed that she was truly very sick as I lied to Bidemi or come clean and tell both girls the truth before they find out elsewhere when suddenly one of the ushers interrupted our conversation. He ask us why we are standing outside when the service was already begun, he then directed us immediately to our sitting position as usual. I went to sit at my usal place and Bidemi came to sit beside me as she usually does but Kikelomo was directed to another place. My fast-beating heart has already came back to rest but keep hoping those girls won’t raise up the matter again. The service began in full and there was merriment in the church. Addiction chapter 152 Kikelolomo picked her sister’s call after dialing her number about five times and I couldn’t recognize it was her that I was speaking with on the phone at first. Our conversation begins Kikelomo: Hello Femi Me: (couldn’t recognized the voice to be hers) Hello bidemi my sweetheart Kikelomo; (surprised) ha-ha, Femi don’t you know my voice Me: (now recognized the voice). Ahh, I am very sorry kikelomo, I just wake up from my sleep before I decide to call bidemi and I didn’t expect you could be around that is why I didn’t know you are the one that pick the call (lie) Kikelomo: (smiling) hmmmmn, Femi, Femi you are just waking up and you can’t recognize my voice abi? Me: (smiling) I said am sorry now, I never expected that you would be at home this weekend; I thought you should be in school. And you didn’t tell us you would be coming home this weekend when me and chidinma came for the party you invited us last week. Kikelomo: (smiling) hmmmm, that’s right. I didn’t even know that I will be coming home this weekend at all until mummy called me last night that our family is going to have a special thanks giving service this Sunday because of my daddy’s quick recovery and for how God saved him from that poison he took at work, And it's important that I be part of the service to make my parents happy; so I had to tidy things up before rushing home this evening, and I just got home about 30minutes ago after going through a lot of stress with the hold up on the highway Me: (sounding sorry) eyah, sorry dear. I thought so as well. In fact my mummy just told me about that thanks giving service of your family that you are talking not quite long this night. Kikelomo: (smiling) is that why you are calling bidemi to confirm? Me: (smiling), no, not really. I have had it in mind to call her since morning because I promised that I will be calling her back when she called me in the morning but I have been very busy since that morning and that is why am calling her now Kikelomo: (smiling) it’s like you and bidemi are now in a much closer relationship than before since you have now started to call her like five times late in the night just because you want to keep a promise, and you even called her your sweetheart when i picked the call, have you had….. I didn’t allow her to finish up her next statement before I cut her off. I think I know what she was about to say so I managed to stop her from saying it in other not to get myself caught up in the track. Me: (voice high). What are you trying to say kikelomo? Don’t you know me and bidemi were close friend before or is it today I started calling her repeatedly when she couldn’t pick her calls? Calling her my sweetheart is because she is my best friend. Kikelomo: (voice low) hmmmmn, are you now angry because of that little thing I said Femi or why do you raise your voice at me like that? And you didn’t even allow me to finished my statement. Me: (voice calm). I am not angry and I am sorry for raising my voice like that. I just couldn’t understand what you were trying to insinuate, you know me and bidemi were very close friends from childhood because of our families friendship, just like you and I too are friends so I couldn’t understand why you are talking as if we just know each other yesterday. You Adeboye’s girls has been my close friend from childhood and you know I like both of you. Kikelomo: (voice low and laughing jokingly) hmmmm, I know but you like bidemi more than me, is that not true oko bidemi?. (bidemi’s husband) Me: (smiling jokingly) hmmmmn. You know that is not 100% true kikelomo because I like both of you very much like I always tell you but it's just that I and bidemi are much closer from childhood because of the type of friendship we share and you know that yourself. Kikelomo: (smiling) are you now agreeing to what I said that you and BIDEMI are much closer? Me: (voice low) I can't denying that me and bidemi are very close and I like her a lot But you too know that she is very troublesome and very possessive of me, it's like she doesn't want me to like someone else and that is why I like you more because you are much different than your sister and even matured than her. She begins to laughs for some time before she replied me. Kikelomo stopped laughing). That is what you always say femi. You like me, you like me but have you even bother calling me deliberately for once whenever I am in school. We only talk to each other when I am at home except I call you by myself first for any reason or you have an important reason to talk to me on phone about, you won't ever call me to just say even hello but you always have time to call BIDEMI everyday and you claimed you like me too. (I was surprised when I heard that, I wonder if kikelomo was jealous of her own sister because of me. I never expected her to say something like that; but come to think of it what she said was true; I don't normally call her when she was not around except she called me first or I have some important issue to discuss with her like she said) so I quickly begin to apologized for everything and I told her that I will change from henceforth. She burst into laugh because the way I said it sounds funny after using ma to address her and I joined her in laughing. we kept laughing until I asked her where bidemi is and why she had to pick her callsMe: (controlling my laughter) where is even Bidemi? And why is it you that picked her call? Kikelomo: (stopped laughing) she and mummy went out not quite long after I got home, they went to get some stuffs we need for tomorrow and she didn’t take her phone along because she was charging it. I only picked her call because I saw that you are the caller. Me: (smiling) hmmmmmn, okay, how is daddy? Kikelomo: (smiling) he is inside his room relaxing Me: (smiling) okay, I have to go now. Tell bidemi to call me when she got back. Kikelomo: (smiling). Okay, Oko bidemi Me: (laughing jokingly) Na me be that o. We shall see in church tomorrow. Kikelomo began to laugh again before we ended the call. I felt so happy for talking to her like that, My thought even during the cause of our conversation was that maybe chioma or chidinma has told kikelomo about what happen between me and chioma on the day of the party she invited us, but the way she talked to me on phone just now I knew she hasn't heard anything from both girls or else she would have asked me about it. I went straight to bed after waiting for sometimes for bidemi's call. I hope kikelomo won't tell her everything we discussed because I know if she heard some it she might get angry but am sure kikelomo is not that dumb and she knows how troublesome her sister could be if she should tell her about our discussion. It doesn’t take much time before I slept off only to woke up the following morning by 5:30a.m To be continued Source: Diamomndstar Admin |
