TOPIC: GOD IS SAYING “DONT QUIT”

BASIC SCRIPTURE:
JOB 19: 23 - 29

Welcome to this last month of the year! Wow! What a year it has been! Thank God you made it thus far, despite the bloody battle against the unseen enemy COVID-19, Prophet Daniel was one of those privileged to talk about how the world would be in the end times. He was told, “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end, many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased” (Daniel 12:4). MANY SHALL RUN TO and FRO has two meanings: 1. A state of PANIC and FEAR worldwide such as this COVID-19 PANDEMIC. 2. Amazing increase in technology and speed!

In 2016 alone, commercial airlines carried over 3.8 billion passengers and generated global revenue to the value of 501 billion US dollars. In 2017, the projected figures show an increase in global air passengers of 7.4% with a total revenue of 743 billion US dollars. In 2019, over 5 billion flew by air! Men are truly running to and fro via air technology. What about increase in knowledge? 5G network is here to stay! There are machines at ao all kinds of things today ONLY ONE FACTORY IN CHINA FIRED ABOUT A MILLION WORKERS BECAUSE ROBOTS (machines) STARTED DOING WHAT HUMANS WERE SUPPOSED TO DO! Amazing! Nevertheless, in spite of all these, the world has become a more difficult place to live in, suicides, kidnappings, terrorism and violence of different kinds are on the increase. Divorce rates and job losses have increased, More people now live in fear! No matter how the world may be, no matter how difficult things may turn out or look around you, God is saying, “Don’t Quit He is keeping you alive for a reason! Job in today’s scripture said in the midst of his many troubles, “For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though alter my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God (Verses 25-26). Yes, your Redeemer is alive! YOU DONT SERVE A DEAD GOD! EVEN HIS SILENCE IS AN ACTION NO matter how 2020 has been, stop worrying about what can go wrong about your future or 2021. He will Show up and turn things around! Expect last-minute 2020 testimonies! Arthur Somers Roche penned: “Worry is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind. If encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts are drained.” God is still saying, Your best days are ahead! Don’t quit now! It is not over! I AM STILL ON THE THRONE as God (Give out the 2021 ODM as a Christmas gift).

TOPIC: REMEMBER WHOSE AND WHO YOU ARE!

BASIC SCRIPTURES:
2 Corinthians 5 :17 ; PHILIPPIANS 2: 12 -18

As 2020 ends, the Holy Ghost is reminding you of your identity in Christ. You and l have to, no matter how 2020 has been, remember that we are Chidden of God! 2 Corinthians 5: 17 says, “If anyone is in Carist Jesus, they are a new creation. The old has passed away. All things have been made new.” You are not who you were! Your past no longer defines you or controls you. You are now a new creation in Christ. This new identity begins to determine everything else in life.

It should determine your self-esteem, your attitudes, your tnoughts, your decisions, your relationships, your spending habits and all your actions. Don’t allow DELAYS or trials to DEFINE YOUR IDENTITY! A pastor friend once narrated his story about growing up and every time he ran outside to go and play in the neighbourhood, he would always hear his mother’s voice saying, “Remember whose you are. He said that he never forgot those words “Remember whose you are” and “remember who you are. You are a child of God and to the shame of the devil, begin to live like a child of God. There is no other choice!

These various battles of life will end one day in death when you will be ALONE six feet deep in a lonely, cold grave! DON’T ALLOW THE BATTLES OF LIFE TO DEFINE YOU OR HOW YOU LIVE! Work out your new identity (your salvation) with fear and trembling! Live holy lives by living with your new identity. And here’s the greatest news: you’re not left to your own strength. God is with you and in you! God’s got your back! He is the one who lives in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure (see Vs. 13 of today’s 2nd Scripture), Pray seriously now and tell the devil that NO BATTLE WILL MAKE YOU FORGET WHOSE YOU ARE AND WHO YOU ARE!

TOPIC: NEVER ALLOW THE ENEMY TO HAVE THE LAST SAY!

BASIC SCRIPTURE:
2 SAMUEL 1: 1 -16

Welcome to today’s devotional and don’t forget that words are more powertul than atomic bombs. Words have the power to build people up, confine people to where they are, and break people down. Choose your words carefully before yöu utter them to others but most importantly, the words you utter to yourself must be positive and hopefül. Build belief and hope within yourself 2 Samuel 1: 16 says: “And David said unto him, Thy blood be upön thy head for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, “I have slain the LORD’S anointed.” So, David was telling the man that whether he was lying or not, HIS WORDS HAD TESTIFIED AGAINST HIM. Words are creators of good or bad! Words whether said JOKINGLY or SERIOUSLY carry the effect of defeat or victory! Use your words to build others! Your words carry amazing power. So when you speak, make sure you uplift someonë and nevér put them down! Deepak Chopra noted: “Language creates reality. Words have power. Speak always to create joy.”

Yes! Words can make you or break you! Never allow any wrong, angry word/curse spoken against you to stand! REPLY, RETURN TO SENDER AND CANCEL IT IMMEDIATELY! Never allow the enemy to speak last! This is because life is war and there is no jesting, familiarity or friendship in the war front of life! Always remember too that: words are the BULLETS used by spiritual forces against humanity! Was this universe not created by WORDS (Gen 1)? Words can create SOMETHING out of NOTHING! Words can also turn a NOBODY into a SOMEBODY Or turn a SOMEBODY into a NOBODY!

TOPIC: SHE SPOKE TO HER MOUNTAIN!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: MARK 11: 12 - 24

Share this great good news with me because I know your testimony is very soon: “In October last year, 2019, we had a mass screening of cervical cancer and I was diagnosed of having cervical cancer even though I was not showing any symptoms when I went for the treatment. But after the treatment, I started showing serious symptoms like bleeding and severe pain during sex. So I decided to see a gynecologist and I was asked to run several tests and scanning. On 26th December 2019, the doctor suggested that I should run a pathology test and then come back for him to schedule me for a surgical operation. He also mentioned that the earlier the surgery is done, the better for me. Meanwhile, some of the tests proved that my lıver was not good enough and that I had Hepatitis “C”. l, therefore, told myself that all this was not my portion. I told the devil to wait until after our January 21-day prayer and fasting program; he will know that my body was not the temple of sickness and diseases but the temple of the Holy Ghost. Please, Dr. Chris, I thank God so much for your life and the vision of ODM. Shortly after the January 2020 21-day prayer and fasting program, I went back and carried out the tests again and everything was NEGATIVE. I even went back and was screened for the cervical cancer and I was NEGATIVE. No more bleeding and pain during sex. My husband too has come back home and he is taking care of us. I really thank God for what He is doing in my life through the ministry of ODM. (Please withhold my name for security reasons).”

TOPIC : SHE SURVIVED 2 PANDEMICS!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: PSALM 23: 1 - 6;
EXODUS 10: 21 - 24

102 year-old Mildred “Gerry” Schappals can be described using one word: Survivor. She beat the Spanish flu (BUBONIC VIRUS) in 1918, two cancer experiences and now COVID-19. She was only a baby when she caught the Spanish flu in 1918 the first pandemic that swept through the United States and indeed the world. She was only about 10 months old when she had it. The doctor had given up on her and said that she would likely die. She had high fever! They didn’t even bother to pin the diaper on her when they changed her because she was not moving. But she made it. She then went to college, got married, had two children and became a teacher. In her 60s and 70s, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and colon cancer. “She had radiation treatment for the breast cancer, and she had a surgery and a whole chemotherapy regimen for the colon cancer. And she survived them both her daughter Julia Schappals said. Fast forward to 2020 she came down with COVID-19. But even at 102, she beat that too. She just humorously said recently that she wants to live to 150 and nobody is doubting that! The 102 year-old said the secret to life is to live each day to the fullest and to not “sweat the small stuff” (STOP THE WORRIES OVER EVERYTHING). Wow! The Holy Ghost wants you to know that LIFE IS HARD but not IMPOSSIBLE! What is happening to others will PASS OVER YOU because your case is different (today’s 2nd scripture)! You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it! No matter how 2020 has been, refuse to be a victim! Remember that great things take time! Even if LIFE HAS BEEN ROUGH or you have travelled the road of bitter delays, always remember what David said in Psalm 23:4 – Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. “Make up your mind to WALK THROUGH every VALLEY Don’t park there and pity yourself! SELF-PITY is the fastest bullet of death in the valley (battles) of life, No matter the STORMS, remember that without RAIN, NOTHING GROWS! Determine to embrace the storms of your life! As you refuse to quit, as you refuse to allow DEPRESSION, as you refuse to compare yourself to others, oh, as you refuse to become cold in your fellowship with God, THE WORLD WIL DESCRIBE YOU AS A SURVIVOR! Hold on and hold out!

TOPIC: SEPARATION OF CONJOINED TWINS: LIFE IS INDIVDUALZED 2

BASIC SCRIPTURE COLOSSIANS 3: 1 - 10

Yesterday’s devotional closed with Catherine of Sienna: ” “Be who you were created to be and you will set the world on fire”. Yes! NO TWO DESTINIES ARE THE SAME! Be yourself! Live your life! Walk your lane and you will set your world on fire What the Holy Ghost wants you to know today is that each time you desire to be like others, you are INSULTING YOUR CREATOR! When you don’t think of yourself as FEARFULLY WONDERFULLY made, you are INSULTING your God! When you envy others, you are telling God that He is a man and that He is PARTIAL! Aso, always remember that covetousness (trying to be or have what others have) is IDOLATRY (Col. 3:5- todays scripture). No wonder Seneca quipped: “No one can have all he wants, but a man can refrain from wanting what he has not, and cheerfully make the best of a bird in the hand.” Value what you have now, until you have more! You are UNIQUE! The fact that someone in your famly, class, church, office or neighborhood failed in an adventure is not an excuse for you not to succeed. You have your destiny in your hands.

Medical doctors today stress what is called, “individualized approach” in the management of diseases because everyone has his own unique genetic engineering. Pharmacists all know that a drug that is compatible with someone may cause very Serious adverse reactons in another person. This is how individualized we are! Eleanor Roosevelt penned: “Remember always that you not only have the right to be an individual, you have an obligation to be one.” Let no one push or rush you to live like others, especially in marital matters! You have your own destiny! As 2020 ends, I prophesy: Just as those Pakistani girls were separated to live their individual lives, you will be separated from anything hindering your manifestation as a unique individual in Jesus name. Reject IDOLATRY- trying to be like others! Pray seriously now!

TOPIC: SEPARATION OF CONJOINED TWINS: LIFE IS INDIVIDUALIZED.

BASIC SCRIPTURES:
2 CORINTHIANS 5:10 EZEKIEL18:19 - 22

Conjoined twins are not a very comínon medical condition, It occurs once in every 2.5 million births. Two girls were born in January 2017 in the town of Charsadda, Pakistan to a 34-year-old Pakistani mother of 9. The two girls, Safa and Marwa Ullah, were not only conjoined twins, but they were also, craniopagus twins: meaning they were joined at the head. Their father died of a heart attack while their mother was pregnant, with them. After they were born, the children were left to be taken care of by their mother, grandfather and uncle. One thing was uppermost in the minds of members of these girl’s family and physicians in their home country – the children must be separated to live their individual lives. To achieve this, the family travetled with them to London to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for children, one of the few hospitals worldwide that has surgeons experienced in separating craniopagus twins. Though they said ‘the odds were against these 2 little girls when they were Born, they still determined that they must be separated to live their individual lives.

After over 50 hours of a series of surgeries over a 5-month period, Safa and Marwa were finally separated on February 11, 2019. The surgeries involved about 100 staff of the London hospital and both girls are doing well today. Awesome you will say, but what the Holy Spirit is saying to a user of today devotional is that life individualized. STOP TRYING TO BE LIKE OTHERS! Every one of us, irrespective of the circumstances of birth, has his or her own destiny! You cannot live another man’s life. You have a life to live for which you will give account to your God. We are told in 2 Corinthians 5:10

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ…”

On that judgment day, God will not judge TWINS as TWINS! He will judge them as INDIVIDUALS!! Moreover, Ezekiel 18 makes it clear that parents will not be held accountable on the last day for the shortcomings of their children and vice versa, Wow! Hear Catherine of Sienna: “Be who you were created to be and you will set the world on fire”. Yes! NO TWO DESTINIES ARE THE SAME! Be yourself! Live your life! Walk your lane and you will set your world on fire…(To be continued is tomorrow).

TOPIC: THE BILLBOARD: A KNOCK DOWN IS NOT A KNOCK OUT!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: MARK 14: 66 - 72

Many years ago, when I was passing through turbulent times because someone I loved left my life, I chose to commit suicide (which led to the discovery of this ODM vision)! I felt l was the biggest failure and God could never use me! At that time, some of my friends deserted me! Some mocked and laughed! Some even said: “IT IS FINISHED with him. But one morning, the Holy Spirit told me to ask a carpenter to do a giant billboard at the entrance of the ministry office. The wordings on that giant billboard were: A KNOCK DOWN IS NOT A KNOCK OUT!

A KNOCK DOWN IS NOT A KNOCK OUT!
STAND UP AND KEEP GOING AGAIN! And I obeyed! That was the beginning of my internal healing process. Indeed, “all things work together for good for those who love the LORD and who have been called according to His purpose? (Rom. 8: 28B). This should give us hope that no matter what we may have done, our adventure isn’t Over. God is at work reclaiming our story. The rest is history and those who mocked me then, are today in shock at what has become of this little man who wanted to commit suicide because he felt he was a failure, Thank you LORD Jesus!

No matter how 2020 has been, always remember that there are tomorrows on their way worth the struggles of today, Just as Peter bounced back after failing the LORD seriously (today’s scripture), your cock shall crow again and a new day 18 coming for you! Never give up, because the LORD told me clearly that 2021 is a year of OPEN REWARD for those that have waited for Him. Never give up because your best testimonies, prayers, fasting and walk with God are just ahead! Delay is not denial and a knock down is not a knock out because your story is still being written! Keep moving!

TOPIC: YOU ARE NOT A CONQUEROR! REJECT THAT TITLE!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 8: 31 - 39

Romans 8:37 says: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. You are not just a CONQUEROR! You are MORE THAN A CONQUEROR! You are not just a WINNER! You are MORE than a winner! You are not just an ACHIEVER! You are MORE THAN an achiever! Stop insulting yourself and your God by saying you are a conqueror! No! You are MORE THAN THAT! Quit playing defense and start playing offense!
Maybe we need to quit letting our circumstances get between us and God and let God get between us and our circumstances. Stop thinking like a person fighting for survival. No! It’s your enemies that should be thinking so. It’s time to claim the victory that has already been won at Calvary. We are not conquerors; except through Christ! So, it’s not because you are the greatest genius on earth! IT IS THROUGH CHRIST! Jesus put you in that position when He boldly said, “I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Note the words: GATES. “I stands for FORTRESS AND THE SECURITY of any kingdom or place. Gates are DEFENSIVE measures, which means the Church is the one on the offense! We are not the ones hiding in fear! No! Once you win at the GATES of life's battles then you have won that battle! Note again: The LORD did not say, “You will build My church”; He said, “I will build My church.”

The key words are “I” and “My.” Oh, glory to God! The church belongs to Jesus Christ. So does the battles you face. Your VICTORY IS BECAUSE OF HIS VICTORY! That is why you are MORE THAN A CONQUEROR because HE IS UNDEFEATABLE! You are also UNDEFEATABLE! As 2020 ends and 2021 begins, look up to Him, hold on and hold out!

TOPIC: THE ELEVEN PASTORS: DONT BE AN EMBARRASSMENT!

BASIC SCRIPTURES:
2 CORINTHIANS 3: 2;
5: 17 - 21.

I attended a gathering recently in which a senior pastor in one of the fastest growing churches in the world today told those of us in that gathering a story he heard from a journey he had just undertaken: A certain church had sent eleven pastors as missionaries there in turns at diferent times. One of the stories that was in the front burner was that all these eleven pastors had been a disappointment to their home church.

They had one way or the other compromised their callings as ambassadors both for their ehurch, country and the body of Clhrist. To make matters worse, one lady in that foreign country had accused one of the pastors of getting her pregnant resulting in the birth of a child. In order to confirm the allegation, the home church had to send some representatives to see the family of the woman to conduct a DNA test to determine the paternity of the born child. The result was positive! Oh God! The truth of the matter is that you are an ambassador of Chist. An ambassador is one who lives in foreign country and is aceredited to represent his home countiy in that foreign land.

You are aceredited by heaven to represent Christ here on earth, One who takes on an ambassadorial brand is supposed to represent that brand in a positive light and provide consumers with a memorable tace-to-tace expenence of that brand. You are the brand of Christ that men and women, especially those without Christ have a tace-to-tace experience with. Today’s scripture states emphatically in 2 Corinthians 5:20, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ” 2 Corinthians 3:2 says, “Ye are our episte written in our hearts, known and read of all men,” As 2020 ends, your conduct must reflect the gospel of Christ by His grace. Philip Yancey wrote: The proof of spiritual maturity is not how pure you are but awareness of your impurity. That very awareness opens the door to grace.”

Yes! By His grace alone, but LIVE RIGHT! You are the Bible” that some people may ever read till they die! Don’t live like those eleven pastors who have brought disappointment both to their families, home church and by extension, the body of Christ. I Remember that the testifier said each time a good job or a good thing was about to locate her, she would have a dream. Those dreams are what I call ARROWS OF SATANIC ABORTION. Dreams can be used by God or the devil. Dreams are a PICTURE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING OR ABOUT TO HAPPEN IN THE SPIRITUAL UNSEEN WORLD. Sometimes, the Holy Spirit will give you an “EUPU or LEAK TO you what your haters are planning! Sometimes, the Holy Spirit will also show you the great things you home government (HEAVEN) is planning concerning you or concerming a loved one. “I have been stagnated for 13 years after graduation without a job; each day I applied for a job, that night I would dream and see myself in either my Secondary or primary school. I have been trusting in people that I knew instead of God. Until God opened my eyes to see the missing link which is to believe in Him and Him alone: so I started looking forward to the July 2019 worldwide 14-day prayer and fasting programme. On the 30th of June/1st July, l dreamt that I gave birth twice that night; and you know that marine spirits are meant to cause delay. But to the glory of God, some months after that, I got a job which I have been searching for, for 13 years! I resumed the job the same day, without an interview. Topic: The Stranded Parrot and the Firefighter.

Basic Scripture:
Romans 2: 1 - 11

Parrots are among the most intelligent birds with a unique ability for some species to imitate human voices. Very recently parrot in London named Jessie escaped from the home of the owner and perched on a nearby roof for 3 days. The London Fire Brigade was called to rescue the fine bird. The parrot owner told the fire brigade crew member that in order to bond with the bird, he should say to her, “I love you” The firefighter did exactly that. However, when he told Jessie, “I love you” she reportedly told the London Fire Brigade crew member to “Bleep off” What a response to a loving call for a rescue, you would say. Brigade Watch Manager, Chris Swallow, said the rescue was attempted because there were concerns that she may be injured” since she had stayed up on the roof for so long. Many people are like Parrot Jessie. When they hear a loving call for the salvation of their souls, they rebuff it, asking the preacher, like Jessie, to “Bleep off.” You may be reading this piece today and you have rebuffed the salvation message for so long. You can pray the prayers on page 28 of this book and dedicate your life to Jesus Christ again! A professor entered his classroom with a glass of water. He raised the glass of water, Everyone in the room expected the “half entry or half full” question. Instead, to everyone’s surprise, the professor smiled and inquired: How heavy is this glass of water? The answers called out for the range from 8 Oz to 15 Oz. “I need to weigh it to know how much exactly it weighs. But the question, I really want you to answer is- what if I held the glass up for a minute? asked the professor. “Nothing” the students answered unanimously. “But what if I hold it for an hour?” asked the professor. ” Your arms will start aching”, answered one of the students. You are right! But what if I held it up for a whole day,? the professor asked further. Your arms will feel numb, your muscles get stressed and it may even, get paralyzed ventured another student, “You are right!”, exclaimed the professor. “So what should I do to avoid the pain? asked the professor. “Keep the glass down”, answered a student. Exactly!” said the professor. He continued “In all the cases the weight of the glass remains the same. But, the longer I held it up, the heavier it becomes. The stress and worries in life are like the glass of water, If you think about them for a while, nothing happens. Think about them for longer, they will start hurting.

Think about them for even longer, you will feel stress and be paralysed.” Oh, what a lesson in our devotional today! The problems of life do not cease till you die! But, you should not carry the stress long enough that it begins to ache and paralyze your life. It is important to let go of your stress! Let go of that worry! Let go of that anger against those who hurt you! Let go of bitterness/unforgiveness! Matthew 11:28 says: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Rest is when you PUT DOWN every GLASS of PAIN! Let go of thinking about YOUR FUTURE! PUT THE GLASS OF STRESS AND WORRY DOWN! See how Tammy L. Kubasko puts it: “Let go of what you think you know. Something amazing happens when you let God and trust Him.” Yes! He has something greater than your worries and your fears! “It hurts to let go, but sometimes it hurts more to hold on.” To heal your wound, you need to stop touching it! Undressing is an everyday task, but a quarter of Britons won’t let their pets see how God made them NAKED. Funny but true! Even when pets don’t see your unclothedness, never forget that in the eyes of your Creator, NOTHING IS HIDDEN FROM HIM. Still, since the beginning of the outbreak, Mr. Trump and high-ranking administrative officials have sought to pinpoint blame for the spread of the virus on China, and Beijing has responded in kind. The finger-pointing over which country has done less to contain the disease has caused tension between the two nations almost on a daily basıs. But what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that ONCE THERE IS A PROBLEM IN YOUR LIFE, FAMILY AND MINISTRY, stop calling it names! 2 KINGS 20: 4 - 20

I know of a sister in LAGOS, Nigeria whose husband suddenly left the home and for about 2 years, they were separated. As she cried to me weekly, I told the LORD I NEEDED A MIRACLE, we wanted the man to return as a changed man for good and for God. The LORD told me then, that his coming back will not be good for her! I was shocked and I reminded Him that. HE IS THE LORD WHO CAN DO, UNDO, RE-DO AND OVER DO!

My prayer was: “LORD, let the joy of your daughter be full; bring back her husband. We prayed and waited and insisted that HE MUST RETURN. And the LORD answered. One early morning, the sister called me and said her husband wanted her to come to Abuja, Nigeria, where he was staying. We were OVER JOYED and excited. She left for Abuja the next day after visiting the salon for a classical hairdo. A week later, I got another call and the voice on the other side was weeping. She was the sister of the lady who had gone to join the husband. She told me that her sister was on a medical ambulance and was gasping for breath.

She was flown from Abuja straight into the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). Before I could reach there, she had passed on to glory! She died! We lost her and we wept! So what would have happened if she had not gone to see her husband? The LORD warned us but we were excited and insistent! The Holy Ghost wants you to know that sometimes, NOT EVERY GOOD THING IS A GOD THING! Marriage is good but God sees what we do not see! Reunion or mariage at the wrong time OUTSIDE God’s time is WRONG! The right thing done at the wrong time makes it wrong! NEVER RUSH GOD over any matter!

In today’s Scripture, when Hezekiah insisted on more years, God gave him 15 more years! But do you know that that those 15 years produced the genesis of the BABYLONIAN CAPTIVITY OF THE JEWS? This was because in that same chapter- (Vs 12- Vs 13), you Hezekiah showcased ALL HIS GLAMOUR and wealth to some visitors from Babylon. For Hezekiah’s PRIDE, God decreed that the BABYLONIANS would overthrow his kingdom. And what a disgrace he brought the then descendants of the servant of Jehovah – DAVID!

So his EXTRA 15 years led to EXTRA SHAME AND CAPTIVITY of God’s people. Would it not have been better for him to have died? Pray seriously today now! Today is my Birthday! Pray for me!

Vs 7 of today’s scripture says: “And the LORD said unto Samuel, ‘Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.” So the mystery of answered prayers is that THERE ARE TIMES GOD CAN DECIDE TO ANSWER A PRAYER THAT WILL PUNISH YOU if you are so desperate to have that thing. God knew that the desire of the Jews to have a king would bring pain and regrets to them, but after some delay, He asked Samuel to grant them their answered prayers!

Listen: SOME PRAYER ANSWERS ARE NOT FOR YOUR GOOD! God might grant your answers IF YOU INSIST, but you may end up in TEARS! For example, death is a less bitter punishment than death’s delay, If God knows that your living a long life will lead you to HELIL, is it not better to call you home early’ That is why as 2020 ends, always pray, “LORD GOD, let Your WILL BE DONE!” After your 21-day or 14-day fasting programme, always pray: “LORD GOD, let Your WILL BE DONE! When you fight to cling to people who are no longer meant to be in your life, you delay your destiny. LET THEM GO! Yes, when events you cannot explain happen AFTER YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOU KNOW TO DO, just lift up your hands and praise God by telling HIM: LET YOUR WILL BE DONE! Some pain is GAIN in disguise! Yes! Some disappontments are divine appointments in disguise! Ah! Some closed doors are actually NEW OPEN DOORS in disguise! Nature does not hury, yet everything is accomplished! So, don’t seek to compete with others because you shall RECOVER and OVERTAKE!

GENESIS 37: 31-36.

Verses 31-35 says: “And they took Joseph’s coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood; And they sent the coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son’s coat or no. And he knew it, and said, It is my son’s coat, an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces. And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.

And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, ‘For I will go down into the grave unto my Son mourning.’ Thus his father wept for him.” Amazing! Note the words: “And all his sons… rose up to comfort him.” Did you get that? His comforters were his pain and tears manufacturers! Ah! What a wicked world! Yes! They were pretending to be comforting him, but truth is; they were mocking him! Joseph was a source of JOY and HOPE to his father Jacob and his wicked sons knew it.

But they supposedly killed his joy and hope and left him in pain, sorrow, agony and hopelessness. And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that in this last quarter of 2020, every pain producer around your life and destiny shall run mad. TOPIC: THE EVIL BIRD AND EVIL SPIES.

BASIC SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 8: 1 - 13

A minister of God told the story of a woman in a labour room who was about to give birth. As the woman was in labour, a red feathered bird flew into the labour ward. The bird spent a little time, looked at everyone there and flew out. As soon as the bird flew away, the woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl who grew up to become a mature woman. But on the wedding day of this girl (now a matured woman), the bird showed up again at the wedding reception hall. The bird landed on the reception table, looked at everyone and flew out again. The girl that had just got married did not know anything about the red feathered bird but the mother remembered that she had seen the bird somewhere many years ago while she was in the maternity labour room. Nobody saw that bird again until the “girl” (now a matured woman) who got married was about to give birth in a hospital.

This same bird flew in as usual and was looking at this woman who had just been delivered of a baby. The nurses saw the bird and wondered what it was doing in the labour ward, So they closed all the windows and used sticks to beat it to death. n their attempt to do this, they completely forgot the woman who had just been delivered of a baby. By the time they turned again to her, she had died. That means the aim of that bird was to make sure that this lady remained distracted all her life! THE BIRD HAD BEEN MONITORING THE DEAD LADY FROM WHEN SHE WAS BORN! Yes! That bird (evil powers) had been pursuing her destiny star right from the day she was born till she died. The Lord wants you to use today’s devotional to deal with MONITORING SPIRITS! Isaiah 8:19 says: “And when they shall say unto you, ‘Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God for the living to the dead? When the server asked her to pay for her meal, she was said to have told the server that she took the order for God to pay. Funny! They all had EXCUSES for what they did! Saul had an EXCUSE for why he could not obey the LORD (today’s scripture). That one EXCUSE OF BLAMING OTHERS BURIED HIS THRONE and CHANGED HIS NAME TO ICHABOD FOREVER – the glory departed from him and evil spirits took over! An amazing world deed! Excuses are the doors openers for demonic spirits! TOPIC: THE STOLEN AMBULANCE: EXCUSES ARE UNDERTAKERS! – 1

BASIC SCRIPTURE: GENESIS 3: 1 - 19.

Sometime in July 2019, a Texan man stole an ambulance fronm a psychiatric hospital (Cypress Greek Hospital in Houston, Texas) where he was once a patient. The ambulance was said to have been taken so easıly by the man because its engine was left running and the man was familiar with the hospital. The man who was described by police to be in his sixties took the ambulance to buy chicken and cigarettes. When staff noticed that the ambulance was nowhere to be found, they called the police around 2.30am.
Officers electronically tracked the ambulance to a nearby gas station where they found the man sitting in the vehicle with fried chicken and cigarettes. When the police asked him why he stole the ambulance, he told them that he needed it as a ride to run some errands which included a food stop at KFC eatery. But despite the reasons he gave, he was taken into custody and was charged for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The Holy Ghost wants you to know that THE SPIRITUAL WORLD HAS NO TIME FOR EXCUSES! THERE IS NO SIMPATY IN THE WAR FRONT OF LIFE!

You must determine to do what is right always! Determine to live holy/pure! Determine to succeed! Detemine to avoid any evil/sinful association! Determine to make heaven at all cost! Watch and pray before you start helping others! TOPIC: THE ZIMBABWE DNA RESULTS: LORD, EXPOSE EVERY LIE!

Something very bizarre and mind-blowing was unearthed in Zimbabwe in 2018. It was found that majority of women in that country may be lying about the paternity (real fathers) of their children. As many as 70% of men in the country are probably not the biological fathers of children they thought were theirs, if the DNA results done there in 2018 were anything to go by. According to a paternity outfit that goes by the name Global DNA Zimbabwe, test results carried out, spanning over a period of 16 months, showed that most of the men were not the fathers of their children. For instance, of the people that went for DNA tests in January 2018, 84% of the men proved not to be the fathers of the children involved! He said, “The majority of people are living in the dark. But truth be told, the mother has already told the real father about the child, and not wanting to take responsibility, the real father leaves the other man to take care of the child and pay school fees even university. Imagine the disappointment/pain later in life when after university, the real father comes and says: “This is my child.” What a world we live in! Just imagine the level of deceit and unfaithfulness that has been meted out to such men! How would you feel when you discover that your spouse has not been faithful and that you have been raising another man’s child or children? As 2020 ends, decree and pray that God will reveal every DECEITFUL person or event around your life, family and ministry! I just heard my 3 Friends” (The Trinity) telling me to tell you that in 28 days, you will know a secret that has been hidden from you for years! Every LYING SPIRIT will be exposed

TOPIC : THE SURRENDERED SALARY: PLAY YOUR PART

BASIC SCRIPTURES: DEUTERONOMY 28:1 -14, EXODUS 15: 26

There was a young man who had some Challenges in his marriage. His wife kept complaining that he was not providing enough finances for her to run the family. As the woman kept giving this complaint, it got to a time that it became unbearable for him. After a while, he started thinking deeply about how to overcome that challenge. One thing was unknown to the wife: she did not know how much the man earned every month. The man then came up with a solution. He took his pay slip, showed it to his wife and then handed over his whole salary for that month to her. He thereafter told his wife, “This is all that I earn, take it, but give me from it what you think will be enough for my monthly upkeep.” The perplexed wife said, “I didn’t know your salary was this small. Now, I know that you been trying so much”. From that day, peace came to that home.

In every relationship, the different parties involved have different roles to play. In today’s scripture, God told the children of Israel that if they would obey Him, He would bless them above all nations. “And it shall come to pass, if thou wilt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments, which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth” (Deut. 28:1). He equally told them in Exodus 15:26 that if they obeyed His voice, He would not put upon them the diseases He had put on the Egyptians. When Elijah repaired the altar of God, put the wood in order, cut the bullock in pieces and poured the gallons of water on it, God did the rest and the fire fell (1 Kings 18). Elijah played his part and God in return played His own part. Apostle Paul played his part when he planted, Apollos did his when he watered; the rest (the giving of the increase), was done by God (1 Corinthians 3:6). Many men of God want their ministries to blossom, but the critical question is, “Are they ready to play their part?” You do not pick the power of God from the street; you must be ready to pay the price for the anointing. If you want peace in your home/marriage, church, neighbourhood or community, you must play your part of forgiveness/tolerance. When you pay your tithe and drop your offering in church, you are playing your part for God’s divine attention. As 2020 comes to an end, examine all your relationships! Determine to play your part again and again! God will do the rest, again and again! Amen and amen!

Show me about your God with your actions.” I once read this from Kevin Max: “The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians: who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, walk out the door, and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.” Oh, from yesterday’s devotional, catch this You are called to BLESS and not to STRESS the world around you! You must never be a PAIN CREATOR for others! Hear Joel Osteen: “Keep in mind, hurting people often hurt other people as a result of their own pain. If somebody is rude and inconsiderate, you can almost be certain that they have some unresolved issues inside. They have some major problems, anger, resentment, or some heartache they are trying to cope with or overcome. The last thing they need is for you to make matters worse by responding angrily.” Matthew 5:13-14 (KJV) says: “Ye are the salt of the earth…Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.” Salt everywhere you go! That means ADD VALUE and FLAVOR wherever you go Don’t allow people confess that you are TROUBLESOME or a STRESS FACTOR wherever you go! Let your presence bring a SMILE and PEACE where there was depression or war! Shining as light Simply means BEING AN EXAMPLE! Close with St. Augustine of Hippo “A Christian should be an “Alleluia” from head to foot. “Alleluia” means “PRAISE THE LORD.” Live in such a way that wherever you go people will praise God and desire to serve Him (See Vs. 16 of today’s scripture Let your life populate heaven and depopulate hell! Pray seriously now!

One day, a man found a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, He sat there and watched the butterfly struggle to come out through the tiny opening. After a while, he decided to help the butterfly when he saw it was not moving. Using a pair of scissors, the man snipped off the cocoon and opened it fully. The butterfly emerged easily but had a swollen body and undeveloped wings. The man waited patiently to see the wings grow and tried to nurse the butterfly but in vain. The butterfly spent the rest of her short life struggling to fly and crawling around. The man tried to do a good deed without realizing that some struggles are important in life. Nature (God) has designed the butterfly’s body to struggle before it can fly. Did you get that? That’s a simple lesson from Biology but an award-winning lesson from life! The struggles and hardships in life shape one personality. They make us courageous and independent. Today’s scripture in Vs. 10(KJV) says: “For it became Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the capt of their salvation perfect through sufferings.” Then Vs. 11 says: “For both He that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren.” So Jesus the LORD was made PERFECT IN THE FLESH through suffering! He was not made PERFECT through divine command.

He had to PASS THROUGH THE STRUGGLE of pain and temptations! And because He is called OUR ELDER BROTHER (Vs. 11), the road He passed through is the same road you will pass through unto PERFECTION Ah! There is a prophetic word for 237 parents today: You cannot act as God to your children! You do not wish to see them go through pain! But I the LORD, own them as my HERITAGE and have a bigger plan for them than your plan! Allow them to pass through their own growth and their sufferings! Therein shall they grow; for in your compassion you may compress them and snuff goodness out of them Allow them to grow their growth according to my destiny plan; you cannot grow for them!” Oh THANK YOU LORD! As 2020 ends, determine that you will NEVER quit trusting God; for it is in your struggles that your scaffolds to destiny elevation are born! Learn from your “ELDER BROTHER”- the King of Kings!

TOPIC: WHEN HE TAKES HIS TIME

Remember that in
2 Kings 4:35, the dead child sneezed seven times, before opening his eyes! As a Pharmacist, I know that these are the first acts of restored respiration, and they are the successive steps of signs of restoration back to life. God is almighty and miracles were, for the most part performed instantaneously; He can do ALL THINGS but sometimes also, His miracles and manifestations are done in phases! Just like in the case of 1Kings 18:44-45 where ELIJAH had to pray and wait for the 7th time before the MIRACLE RAIN CAME! Sometimes, God’s miracles are done progressively towards completion. That was also the story of the blind man in today’s first scripture. The man in today’s first scripture said: “I see men as trees, walking.” Can you imagine that? THE HEALING WAS NOT INSTANT even though it was the ALMIGHTY JESUS WHO PRAYED FOR HIM! Then Vs. 25 says: “After that, He put His hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.” So I repeat as I am led for emphasis: The healing was not instant and fast even though Jesus Christ had the FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD DWELLING IN HIM BODILY! He is the unchanging Changer and the FINGER that never FAILS! Yet, He did not heal the man AT ONCE! The man first saw men as trees, before seeing men clearly! No matter how 2020 has been always remember that God is not a man that He should lie! God’s delays are for a higher purpose that your eyes may not see! Note that before the miracle was completed, He made the man to LOOK UP (see the underlined above)! Wow! His PROCESSES ARE FOR YOUR FINAL PROMISED LAND STORY! The Lord could have healed him with a word, but He wished to save the soul as well as the body! He made Him to LOOK UP instead of looking at men! So, when He takes His time, it’s because He has His GREATER PLAN! Hold on and hold out!

TOPIC: GREED IS NOT A NEED!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: PHILIPPIANS 4: 10 -19

Welcome to this new month! It is your month of “OVERTAKING.” It is a November you shall remember for life, once you deal with GREED! Today’s scripture Vs. 19 (NIV) says: “My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” Note; “… MEET ALL YOUR NEEDS…” One of our biggest worries tends to be about our ability to provide for our needs. Today’s scripture is a confirmation that even in this COVID-19 SEASON AND WORLD CHAOS, you and all yours will never suffer! God has promised to meet all your NEEDS! But note this: God doesn’t promise an automatic private jet, the best mansion in town, a Rolls Royce, the latest safari suit, etc. GOD CAN GIVE YOU ALL THESE THINGS IF YOUR MOTIVES ARE RIGHT!

Some people want these things JUST TO SHOW OFF IN PRIDE or in unhealthy competition, rivalry. A Need is What God In His All-knowing Wisdom, Know is Right For You At The Right Time! A “GREED” is what He knows you can do without and what may become a disadvantage to your tomorrow! Most of us don’t really get this, so we become angry when delay shows up. Psalm 84: 11 says: “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly” (KJV)

Note these three words: NO GOOD THING! When kids are growing up, parents want to give them good things. But no good parent will release something that will be a disadvantage to them in their spiritual, physical, or emotional growth. If we as HUMANS can do that, how much more does a Heavenly Father who is PERFECT want to do likewise? Oh, I love Romans 8:32: “He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” If God could give you JESUS CHRIST by sending Him to the Earth to die for you in order to deal with the NEEDS of your SOUL, don’t you think He cares about that/those issue(s) you’re dealing with! Absolutely yes! In some cases, even before you pray, He has answered (Isaiah 65:24) Yes! He cares! He cares! He cares! And He will never SPARE ANYTHING GOOD FROM YOU! Delay is not denial and your end will never be DISGRACE! Shout 21 halleluiahs of victory and pray seriously now.
