TOPIC: EXECUTED TWICE! DIED ONCE! – 2

BASIC SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 27: 26 - 50

Refer to the Mississippi man who could not be executed on the first attempt – yesterday’s devotional. Remember Isaiah 53:4 again: “Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows! Note the two words “SURELY” and “HATH.” Not, “MAYBE” or “SHALL “That means IT IS ADONE DEAL! ITIS FINISHED! IT IS CONCLUDED in the International spiritual court of justice! He has taken your tears, pain, and WHATEVER will bring you SORROW! Always declare to the devil: *”You are a liar! Jesus Christ, my MASTER took my sorrows! I CANNOT CARRY THE YOKE HE HAS CARRIED!

He took my barrenness yoke! I shall be fruitful in my womb, in my body and in the work of my hands! He took my sickness; He took my marital wars, so that I can have marital direction! He took my delays because He suffered delay on that cross! He took my financial embarrassment! He was poor so that poverty will not be my name! He was despised so that I can enjoy uncommon divine FAVOUR! He was rejected so l can be selected! He was made the TAIL (slapped and pushed around by common servants in Pilate’s courtyard), so I CAN BECOME THE HEAD! He was MOCKED so that I can be MADE into HONOUR! He was like a plant from a dry ground, so that my new names can be BLOSSOM and FLOURISH!

Whatever I lay my hands to do is not permitted to be dry anymore! He carried my grief and demotion! He carried my premature death (He never saw old age. He died before He was 34)! Yes! He carried my stagnation! He suffered betrayal/disappointment at the edge of His breakthrough- death on the cross (Judas betrayed Him! Peter disappointed Him). Isa1ah 52: 14b says: “… His visage (appearance) was so marred (disfigured and ugly) more than any man… “He could win the award for the “UGLIEST MAN ON EARTH.” That happened so that I can be glorified and beautified! SHAME cannot be my last bus-stop again because the Lord has been punished even before l was born! Oh! Thank you LORD! You shall end well, because of Isaiah 53: 11. It says the LORD shall see me for whom He suffered and BE SATISFIED! That means no matter how 2020 has been, I AM WORK-IN-PROGRESS and THE LORD has not finished with me! The LORD shall see me and be proud of me I can never be an abandoned project! Thank you LORD! Thank you LORD! Thank you LORD!

TOPIC: KOBE BRYANT:
I SHALL NOT WEEP SUDDENLY!

BASIC SCRIPTURE:
LUKE 7: 11 - 16

For the world of sports and especially the basketball family, Tuesday January 26th, 2020 was not best day for family of Kobe Bryant, that day would be a day they would live to remember for a very long time for the wife of Kobe Bryant , Vanessa, and her first daughter, Natalia, that day will be very difficult to erase from their memories, Kobe Bryant, an American basketballer, at the young age of 41 was snatched away from this world by the cold hands of death when the Sikorsky S-76B helicopter he chartered to fly from Orange County, California to Thousand Oaks also in California, crashed in foggy weather into a Southern Californian hillside, near Calabasas. Bryant had been scheduled that day to coach a tournament game at Mamba Sports Academy. The man did not go down alone; eight other persons lost their lives in that crash. His beautiful daughter, Gianna, who was only 13 years of age, two other girls Alyssa Altobelli and Payton Chester, the pilot of the helicopter, Ara Zobayan, a baseball coach, and three other persons died when the helicopter went down suddenly in its attempt to avoid a cloud.

When the news of the crash filtered to town, it was difficult to believe; for those who were waiting eagerly to be coached by Bryant for that day’s game, it was a dashed hope. When the news got to his wife, it was to say the least, the most devastating bad news she had ever heard; a husband and a loving/promising daughter were gone, just like that. In her statement a few days afterwards, she said, “…There aren’t enough words to describe our pain right now. I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi (Gianna) both knew that they were so deeply loved…. They were our beautiful blessings taken from us.” Life is full of many unexpected events. The widow of Nain in today’s Word never expected that she would lose her only son so soon after the demise of her husband. The unexpected event swept her off her feet. She had no option left but to weep over her loss. As she shed sudden and unexpected tears, Jesus met her in that state and said to her, “Weep not.” As 2020 ends, the LORD is saying to a user of today’s devotional: “WEEP NOT!” I see restoration! Most circumstances of life come unannounced!

Many souls and governments who began 2020 did not plan a date with the CORONAVIRUS! Arise today and pray against SUDDEN and UNEXPECTED TEARS for the next 3 days! Declare 21 times today “SUDDEN and UNEXPECTED TEARS, STOP AND SCATTER; SCATTER! SCATTER! CATCH FIRE NOW in Jesus name!” May your joy know no bounds! Pray seriously now.

TOPIC: SUICIDE AFTER FAILURE: REMEMBER THE 3 “DS”

BASIC SCRIPTURES:
JOB 2: 1 - 10; 14: 1

Sometime ago, tragedy struck at the Police College in Lagos Nigeria. Some police officers took promotion exams to move on the next rank. Among those who took the exams was a young man who was to be promoted from the rank of sergeant to inspector. The young officer was said to have committed suicide when he learnt that he had failed the promotion exams. Preliminary investigations revealed that the officer had taken some drugs and died. His body was found in his car with the drugs he took littered around him. Homicide detectives, who were invited, did some investigations and ordered that this body should be taken to the morgue of the State Teaching Hospital. That was how the young officer ended his life. Ever before this happened and thereafter, the world has witnessed many bizarre actions taken by people in the face of some seeming disappointment or perceived difficulty/challenge of life. Just very recently, a young man who had taken the Nigerian university entry exams several times without success took a decision to end his life. Another young man, a university undergraduate committed suicide by EVENING PRAYERS BEFORE GOING TO BED drowning and left a note behind. The reason he did so is still unknown.

Another one took his life because he performed poorly in his academics. And yet another person set a whole house and family ablaze leading to the death of 7 people because of a relationship that went sour. The list is just inexhaustible. There are facts of life which no one can run away from. One of such facts is that life is full of ups and downs. This world is a place of challenges. This fact was stated by Papa Job in Job 14:1 – “Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.” Frank A. Clark said, “If you find a path that is without obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” When life’s “ups and downs” come, you have to take them as normal experiences that people go through to succeed. An anonymous person wrote this, “Failure defeats losers but inspires winners.” Someone else said, “In all areas from mental to financial to academics to spiritual and to any aspect of life you could think of, nothing great can ever be achieved without facing some challenge or risk.” As 2020 ends, always remember the “3 Ds” Dream, Desire and Determination! Yes it takes a dream to get started, desire to keep going and determination to finish! Hold on and hold out!

TOPIC : “LISTEN TO YOUR OWN MUSIC: REMEMBER THE 3 ’DS‘ ”

It was Denis Waitley who penned: ’Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end.‘ In the face of challenges, the Holy Ghost wants you to remind yourself daily that there is always light at the end of the darkest tunnel. Never contemplate suicide, surrendering, quitting, crying/weeping, self-pity, etc.

Today“s scriptural reading points a lesson to us. In all of David“s losses and pain, he maintained his integrity IN THE LORD – HE ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD! No wonder he recovered all! No matter how 2020 or the past years of your life has been, YOU WILL RECOVER ALL because God always shows up when we get to the edge of the precipice. He will show up for you and your family/ministry.

Never give up on your EXPECTATIONS! The waiting may seem painful, but the regret of not going for it will be even more painful! Resist what is happening around you. Resist what others are saying or not saying about you! Resist the inner cry to allow depression or self- pity! And hear this: LIFE HAS MANY SOUNDS OF MUSIC! Some are sounds of MOCKERY! Some are sounds of COURAGE! Some are scattered sounds of DOUBTERS! Others are sounds of feeble SCORNERS buried in DISDAIN/CONTEMPT for you! But refuse to listen to them because nobody was there on the day that your great God created you! That was the day God gave you your drum!

Determine to create your own God-led music and please LISTEN TO YOUR DRUM BEAT and your DRUM BEAT ALONE – IT CREATES THE GREATEST MUSIC. Don“t allow the voice of MOCKERS AND JESTERS to kill your dance or steal your song because everyone cannot believe in you! As 2020 ends, always remember the ’3 Ds‘ – Dream, Desire and Determination! TOPIC: VICTORY IS NEAR! DON’T QUIT NOW!

BASIC SCRIPTURE:
1 KINGS 18: 41- 46.

In 2011, there was an uprising against the President of Syria Bashar Al Assad. The uprising was spearheaded by rebels and Jihadists. By early 2017, government forces held just 17% of the territory of the whole nation, the rest was occupied by forces that were against the government and the government has been fighting this bitter battle for years.

But in a series of successive attacks, the government has now succeeded in forcing the rebels out of many of their strongholds, putting Assad’s government in control of nearly two thirds of the country. The Syrian army had increased its attacks with the help of Russian air strikes, advisers from the Iranian ministry as well as help from the militiamen of Lebanon, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan.

In late July 2018, President Bashar Al Assad told his troops that they were close to winning the country’s seven year-old civil war then, after the army inflicted a series of defeat rounds on the rebels. In his open letter to the military rank and file, Assad wrote; “Our date with victory is near. They (the rebels were ultimately to leave humiliated, roled back, their tails between their legs after you gave them a taste of bitter defeat.” Borrowing a leaf from the Syrian president and as 2020 ends, I bring these words to someone today, “Victory is near.

No matter how 2020 has been (oh, what a year indeed), don’t quit now because I hear the sound of the abundance of victory and celebration.

In today’s scripture, Israel had faced a bitter famine for three and a half years but when Elijah prayed, the heavens opened. Elijah told King Ahab not to worry anymore – And Elijah said unto Ahab, get thee up, eat and drink for there is sound of abundance of rain.” Oh, get up from that place of sorrow and being downcast, for I hear the sound of celebration again and again. For someone believing God for a husband or wife, the wedding bells are already ringing in the realm of the spirit; the letter of employment for someone’s job is already prepared.

I see fruits of the womb, new helper connections, career and business progress! I see an enemy apologizing to you very soon. Ah! Your date with victory is near and quitting is not an option. Share this with me: “Daddy good evening Sir, please I want to share my incredible elevation testimony where God has begun to manifest in my life within the last July 14-day WORLDWIDE fasting and prayer programme. By the special Grace of God, I am a single minister of the gospel, pastor-in-charge of a Christ Anglican Church around Calabar, Nigeria. I am also an Electrical and Electronics Engineer working with a manufacturing company here.

TOPIC: HEADING: THE MARBLE AND THE STATUE!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: GENESIS 32: 22 - 32.

In the middle of a beautiful city, there was a museum laid with beautiful marble tiles and with a huge, marble statue as a part of the display. Many people from all over the world visited the museum every day and admired the beautifully crafted statue. One night, the marble tiles started talking to the marble statue. Marble Tiles: “Hey statue, don’t you think that it is not fair that everybody from all over the world come all the way here to admire you while ignoring and stepping on me?

Marble Statue “My dear brother marble tile, don’t you remember we are actually from the same cave?” Marble Tile: “Yes! I do, that is why I feel it is even more unfair. Both of us were born from the same cave and yet the world treats us so differently now. This is so unfair! Marble Statue: “Yes, you are right my brother. But, do you still remember the day when the sculptor tried to work on you but you resisted his tools?” Marble Tiles: “Yes, I despise that guy. How could he use those nasty tools on me?” Marble Statue: “Well, since you resisted his tools, he couldn’t work on you. When he decided to give up on you, he started working on me instead.

I knew at once that I would be something different and unique after his efforts. I bore all the painful tools he used on me and allowed him to craft me as here wanted!” Marble Tiles: “But those tools were so painful Marble!” Statue: “My brother, there is a price for everything in life. Since you decided to resist and gave up half way, you can’t blame anybody who steps on you now. The marble tiles silently listened to his brother’s words and started to reflect on it. Wow, what an allegory! An allegory is a story, poem, or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden, moral lesson.

The divine lesson the Holy Ghost wants you to learn from this allegory above is that the harder the knocks you go through in life, the more you lean and grow! Even when you don’t understand all your battles, just trust Him! DON’T COMPLAIN! RESIST DISCOURAGEMENT! The MASTER ARTIST, the DIVINE MASTER SCULPTOR IS ON DUTY! ALLOW HIM TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS! Tell those laughing at you that your GOD, “JEHOAH the SCOLPTOR” has not finished with you yet! And never write off yourself because your best is yet to come – because your God sculpts your character and prepares you for a greater future here and in heaven via each trial He allows!

He can take a sinful human being and mould and chisel and hammer away until that person reflects something of heaven’s glory.

Example is Jacob today’s scripture (The LORD had to dislocate his hip after a PAINFUL divine chiseling and hammering wrestling encounter, in order to mould him into a man of character via a new name)! Sculpting involves chiseling, filing, maybe even the breaking off of parts. Wow! Pain! Screams! But the end is: YOU BECOME A TOURIST ATTRACTION AND A TESTIMONY that here is God! What areas in your life need to be sculpted a bit more? Pray now!

Welcome to today’s devotional encounter with the God of times and seasons! Ruth I: 11 says: “And Naomi said,Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? Are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?” Note the words: “TURN AGAIN.” She was putting the interest of the two women first! The Lord is speaking to you today about the secret of community thinking pulting others first! lt is by putting ofhers first that you can discover your name – NAOMI – SWEETNESS! When you put others lirsl, the Naomi in you will manifest! Note also the words:”YOUR WAY in Vs. 12: Turm again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have a husband. If I should say, I have hope, it should have a husband also tonight, and should also bear sons… Oh, I love the words; YOUR WAY! YOUR WAY! YOUR WAY! Not “MY WAY!” “MY WAY! “MY WAY She also used the words “TOO OLD! You would have expected that because she was very old, she would have been selfish to allow the two young ladies to follow her! She could have turned these two young women into “NURSES” by allowing them to follow her! The normal selfish person would have done this to these women by telling them to follow her with the hope ol linding a husband. So as you put the interest of others first, the NAOMI in you will manifest! Job’s captivity was tumed when he prayed for his friends.

THINK COMMUNITY! Not just YOUR WAY! THINK FAMILY! Not just YOUR WAY! THINK COMMUNITY! Not just YOUR WAY! Sometimes, let others have THEIR WAY and not YOUR WAY! Let your plans have the interest of others at heart! Start businesses thatcan bless COMMUNITIES and not just yourself! TOPIC: THE LORD IS ALSO A “MONITORING SPIRIT”

BASIC SCRIPTURES:
2 CHRONICLES 16: 9; Psalm 121:1 - 8

Today’s first scripture Vs. 9 Says: For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.” The Holy Ghost wants you to know that your FATHER GOD iS also a “MONITORING SPIRIT.” Wow! Satan walks TO and FRO the earth, in an attempt to COPY your God! Your God JEHOVAH does not sleep nor slumber! His eyes are always open to PROTECT AND PRESERVE YOU! His EYES run To and FROM the earth to MANIFEST HIMSELF to enemies who MESS around with you and go Scot free! He will teach them that: “IT IS NOT VAIN TO SERVE THE LORD.” He will use your life to show that HE IS A REWARDER of them who DILIGENTLY SEEK/SERVE HIM.

That is why Psalm 121:3 says: “He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee wilt not slumber.” HE DOES NOT SLEEP because HE IS MONITORING your life and ministry for good! He does not sleep nor slumber because HE IS JEALOUS OVER YOU! Have you forgotten that you are so important to God that He sent HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON to suffer and die for you? Jesus Christ would have still died on that scary cross even if you were the only soul on planet earth! Oh, thank you my GREAT “MONITORING SPIRIT.” No wonder not even a strand of your hair would fall without His knowledge! See Psalm 121:6 “The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.” HE DOES NOT SLEEP because HE IS MONITORING your life, family and ministry from forces that use the sun and the moon to curse generations! HE DOES NOT SLEEP BECAUSE HE MONITORS EVERY MONITORING DEMONIC SPIRIT so that Psalm 121:7 can come to pass in your life: “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.” Amen and amen. Pray seriously now!

Vs 20-21 says: “And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.” Note: VERY BITTERLY! Not just bitter but VERY BITTER! That was enough to push her into a SELFISH and INCONSIDERATE PERSON! She was an unhappy and bitter woman. NO matter how 2020 has been, please refuse to give up on your virtues of KINDNESS and COMMUNITY thinking! Even if you were betrayed by a loved one, please still LOVE AGAIN! Even if you were hurt by others, please still think of others! Don’t let the events you have been through to stop the goodness in you! People have lied against me and I decided to leave my country for good Because I thought it was all done out of envy! There was a season I TRUSTED NOBODY because those you trusted, either stole or ganged up with extortioners/blackmailers to hurt my name, My son was once kidnapped! I was once sued to court by a lady I never knew from Adam. She said she broke her teeth at one of the annual WORLD ANOINTING NIGHTS which attracts hundreds of thousands. She demanded for 25 million naira about 63,000 dollars) to enable her fix her broken teeth. How was I Supposed to know what happened to about 500, 000 people who came for that programme? How am I even sure she was there? Oh God! Later, I heard from the grapevine that she was sent by some envious pastors and gangsters. I was shocked! So I was very bitter and decided to relocate from my country! But despite everything, the LORD told me never to be bitter because it would block my harvest season! Ah! See Vs. 22-“So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.”

THEY RETURNED IN THE HARVEST SEASON! When you refuse to be SELFISH, REVENGEFUL or BITTER, God announces your HARVEST! Just before your HARVEST, there will be HASSLES! But the secret of moving into your harvest (reward) season is by putting others first. Let God fight your battles! They returned to Bethlehem (the house of bread) in the beginning of the barley harvest because Ruth was thinking of NAOMI and NAOMI was thinking of Ruth! Ruth later located her life partner because SHE PUT NAOMI FIRST- COMMUNITY THINKING! She later became the great grandmother of the Messiah through the OBED-DAVID-JESUS LINEAGE! community thinking provokes your celebration/harvest season! Resist bitterness or depression! This world will celebrate you soon! Hold on and hold out!

TOPIC : GOD HAS OVER 7 BILLION REPLACEMENTS OF YOU! STAY HUMBLE!

Ahithophel was nearly compared to God when he gave counsel. Ahithophel was from the land of GILEAD where there was balm for healing. But the balm of Gilead COULD NOT HEAL HIM. Yes! He felt that because he was so wise, the country could not do without him. Absalom thought that because he was the most handsome, biological son of David and the logical heir to the throne, HE was indispensable! Don’t forget that they both committed suicide” and LIFE CONTINUED WITHOUT THEM! One day, Elijah said to God that he was the only person singing or working in the kingdom for God or church (you know where you fall into) and God said to him (Paraphrased): “SHUT UP! Don’t let pride rob you of your upcoming chariots of fire. I have reserved 7000 people who can do the job better than you after your departure. That fact that I chose you does not mean that you are indispensable!” Wow! Indeed, airs of importance are the credentials of impotence!
Pray now: 1. “O Lord, don’t let me ever think that without me, the church where I and my family worship now will come to a standstill.

2. I surrender all to You and die of self.

3. Take me back to the cross and remold me by fire.

4. Shake away and take away every smell of PRIDE from me in Jesus’ name.

I remember Soren Kierkegaard: “The proud person always wants to do the right thing, the great thing. But because he wants to do it in his own strength, he is fighting not with man, but with God.” Yea! Very true! Listen: If you leave that department in your church or even the church, you will be the one to suffer it (except the LORD led you to). Don’t forget that when Satan, the highest Archangel left heaven, he wasn’t missed till today. God’s work is bigger than you billion times. Yes, He can replace you with any of the over 7 billion souls on earth today! Stop feeling proud. Let your motives be right in all you do! You are not too important. God by His grace decided to use you or keep you alive. So don’t let pride cause you to move from the palace to the forest like His Excellency, King Nebuchadnezzar. He became His Excellency to animals and wild beasts! Don’t be the next Nebuchadnezzar, Absalom or Ahithophel.

TOPIC : THE DRAMA OF THE SILVERSMITH!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: MALACHI 3: 1 - 6;
PSALM 121: 4



A group of women were in a Bible Study on the book of Malachi. As they were studying chapter three, they came across verse three, which says: “He will sit as a refiner and Came of silver.” This verse puzzled the women and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God. One of the women offered to find out about the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study. That week, this woman called up a Silversmitn and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn’t mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver. As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece o silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest so as to burn away all the impurities. The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse, that “He Sits as a purifiner and purifier of silver.” She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered saying, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed. The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, “How do you know when the silver is fully refined?” He smiled at her and answered, “oh, that’s easy- when I see my image in it.” If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has His eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

Note this: God is BUILDING YOU even when it seems He is BREAKING YOU! The STRUGGLES make you stronger! The LORD is bigger than the giants you face! Remember that God did not remove the RED SEA; He OPENED IT. God will always MAKE A WAY out of every battle you face. He is the “SILVERSMITH” that sits to watch you WALKTHROUGH and not RUN THROUGH in fear! You will never end up in shame! Hold on and hold out to HIM!

TOPIC: GREED IS NOT A NEED!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: PHILIPPIANS 4: 10 -19

Welcome to this new month! It is your month of “OVERTAKING.” It is a November you shall remember for life, once you deal with GREED! Today’s scripture Vs. 19 (NIV) says: “My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” Note; “… MEET ALL YOUR NEEDS…” One of our biggest worries tends to be about our ability to provide for our needs. Today’s scripture is a confirmation that even in this COVID-19 SEASON AND WORLD CHAOS, you and all yours will never suffer! God has promised to meet all your NEEDS! But note this: God doesn’t promise an automatic private jet, the best mansion in town, a Rolls Royce, the latest safari suit, etc. GOD CAN GIVE YOU ALL THESE THINGS IF YOUR MOTIVES ARE RIGHT!

Some people want these things JUST TO SHOW OFF IN PRIDE or in unhealthy competition, rivalry. A Need is What God In His All-knowing Wisdom, Know is Right For You At The Right Time! A “GREED” is what He knows you can do without and what may become a disadvantage to your tomorrow! Most of us don’t really get this, so we become angry when delay shows up. Psalm 84: 11 says: “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly” (KJV)

Note these three words: NO GOOD THING! When kids are growing up, parents want to give them good things. But no good parent will release something that will be a disadvantage to them in their spiritual, physical, or emotional growth. If we as HUMANS can do that, how much more does a Heavenly Father who is PERFECT want to do likewise? Oh, I love Romans 8:32: “He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” If God could give you JESUS CHRIST by sending Him to the Earth to die for you in order to deal with the NEEDS of your SOUL, don’t you think He cares about that/those issue(s) you’re dealing with! Absolutely yes! In some cases, even before you pray, He has answered (Isaiah 65:24) Yes! He cares! He cares! He cares! And He will never SPARE ANYTHING GOOD FROM YOU! Delay is not denial and your end will never be DISGRACE! Shout 21 halleluiahs of victory and pray seriously now.

TOPIC: WHEN HE TAKES HIS TIME

BASIC SCRIPTURES: MARK 8 : 22 - 26;
ISAIAH 28 : 16

Remember that in
2 Kings 4:35, the dead child sneezed seven times, before opening his eyes! As a Pharmacist, I know that these are the first acts of restored respiration, and they are the successive steps of signs of restoration back to life. God is almighty and miracles were, for the most part performed instantaneously; He can do ALL THINGS but sometimes also, His miracles and manifestations are done in phases! Just like in the case of 1Kings 18:44-45 where ELIJAH had to pray and wait for the 7th time before the MIRACLE RAIN CAME! Sometimes, God’s miracles are done progressively towards completion. That was also the story of the blind man in today’s first scripture. The man in today’s first scripture said: “I see men as trees, walking.” Can you imagine that? THE HEALING WAS NOT INSTANT even though it was the ALMIGHTY JESUS WHO PRAYED FOR HIM! Then Vs. 25 says: “After that, He put His hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.” So I repeat as I am led for emphasis: The healing was not instant and fast even though Jesus Christ had the FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD DWELLING IN HIM BODILY! He is the unchanging Changer and the FINGER that never FAILS! Yet, He did not heal the man AT ONCE! The man first saw men as trees, before seeing men clearly! No matter how 2020 has been always remember that God is not a man that He should lie! God’s delays are for a higher purpose that your eyes may not see! Note that before the miracle was completed, He made the man to LOOK UP (see the underlined above)! Wow! His PROCESSES ARE FOR YOUR FINAL PROMISED LAND STORY! The Lord could have healed him with a word, but He wished to save the soul as well as the body! He made Him to LOOK UP instead of looking at men! So, when He takes His time, it’s because He has His GREATER PLAN! Hold on and hold out!

TOPIC: A BUTTERFLY’S STRUGGLE: DON’T STOP THE STRUGGLE!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: HEBREWS 2: 10 - 18

One day, a man found a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, He sat there and watched the butterfly struggle to come out through the tiny opening. After a while, he decided to help the butterfly when he saw it was not moving. Using a pair of scissors, the man snipped off the cocoon and opened it fully. The butterfly emerged easily but had a swollen body and undeveloped wings. The man waited patiently to see the wings grow and tried to nurse the butterfly but in vain. The butterfly spent the rest of her short life struggling to fly and crawling around. The man tried to do a good deed without realizing that some struggles are important in life. Nature (God) has designed the butterfly’s body to struggle before it can fly. Did you get that? That’s a simple lesson from Biology but an award-winning lesson from life! The struggles and hardships in life shape one personality. They make us courageous and independent. Today’s scripture in Vs. 10(KJV) says: “For it became Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the capt of their salvation perfect through sufferings.” Then Vs. 11 says: “For both He that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren.” So Jesus the LORD was made PERFECT IN THE FLESH through suffering! He was not made PERFECT through divine command.

He had to PASS THROUGH THE STRUGGLE of pain and temptations! And because He is called OUR ELDER BROTHER (Vs. 11), the road He passed through is the same road you will pass through unto PERFECTION Ah! There is a prophetic word for 237 parents today: You cannot act as God to your children! You do not wish to see them go through pain! But I the LORD, own them as my HERITAGE and have a bigger plan for them than your plan! Allow them to pass through their own growth and their sufferings! Therein shall they grow; for in your compassion you may compress them and snuff goodness out of them Allow them to grow their growth according to my destiny plan; you cannot grow for them!” Oh THANK YOU LORD! As 2020 ends, determine that you will NEVER quit trusting God; for it is in your struggles that your scaffolds to destiny elevation are born! Learn from your “ELDER BROTHER”- the King of Kings!

Be the first to apologise even if you are not wrong! Today’s scripture Vs. 6 says: “He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.” DESIRE TO BE LIKE THE LORD daily! He brought answers to questions He healed broken hearts and mended shattered lives That should be your goal! Live pure! Avoid things that will hurt others! Even if they seem like they don’t care, unbelievers are always watching us. Not only should you be a role model to outsiders and other believers, but you should be a good example for your kids. A wise man once said: “Don’t tell me about God with your words. Show me about your God with your actions.” I once read this from Kevin Max: “The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians: who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, walk out the door, and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.” Oh, from yesterday’s devotional, catch this You are called to BLESS and not to STRESS the world around you! You must never be a PAIN CREATOR for others! Hear Joel Osteen: “Keep in mind, hurting people often hurt other people as a result of their own pain. If somebody is rude and inconsiderate, you can almost be certain that they have some unresolved issues inside. They have some major problems, anger, resentment, or some heartache they are trying to cope with or overcome. The last thing they need is for you to make matters worse by responding angrily.” Matthew 5:13-14 (KJV) says: “Ye are the salt of the earth…Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.” Salt everywhere you go! That means ADD VALUE and FLAVOR wherever you go Don’t allow people confess that you are TROUBLESOME or a STRESS FACTOR wherever you go! Let your presence bring a SMILE and PEACE where there was depression or war! Shining as light Simply means BEING AN EXAMPLE! Close with St. Augustine of Hippo “A Christian should be an “Alleluia” from head to foot. “Alleluia” means “PRAISE THE LORD.” Live in such a way that wherever you go people will praise God and desire to serve Him (See Vs. 16 of today’s scripture Let your life populate heaven and depopulate hell! Pray seriously now!

TOPIC : THE SURRENDERED SALARY: PLAY YOUR PART

BASIC SCRIPTURES: DEUTERONOMY 28:1 -14, EXODUS 15: 26

There was a young man who had some Challenges in his marriage. His wife kept complaining that he was not providing enough finances for her to run the family. As the woman kept giving this complaint, it got to a time that it became unbearable for him. After a while, he started thinking deeply about how to overcome that challenge. One thing was unknown to the wife: she did not know how much the man earned every month. The man then came up with a solution. He took his pay slip, showed it to his wife and then handed over his whole salary for that month to her. He thereafter told his wife, “This is all that I earn, take it, but give me from it what you think will be enough for my monthly upkeep.” The perplexed wife said, “I didn’t know your salary was this small. Now, I know that you been trying so much”. From that day, peace came to that home.

In every relationship, the different parties involved have different roles to play. In today’s scripture, God told the children of Israel that if they would obey Him, He would bless them above all nations. “And it shall come to pass, if thou wilt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments, which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth” (Deut. 28:1). He equally told them in Exodus 15:26 that if they obeyed His voice, He would not put upon them the diseases He had put on the Egyptians. When Elijah repaired the altar of God, put the wood in order, cut the bullock in pieces and poured the gallons of water on it, God did the rest and the fire fell (1 Kings 18). Elijah played his part and God in return played His own part. Apostle Paul played his part when he planted, Apollos did his when he watered; the rest (the giving of the increase), was done by God (1 Corinthians 3:6). Many men of God want their ministries to blossom, but the critical question is, “Are they ready to play their part?” You do not pick the power of God from the street; you must be ready to pay the price for the anointing. If you want peace in your home/marriage, church, neighbourhood or community, you must play your part of forgiveness/tolerance. When you pay your tithe and drop your offering in church, you are playing your part for God’s divine attention. As 2020 comes to an end, examine all your relationships! Determine to play your part again and again! God will do the rest, again and again! Amen and amen!

TOPIC: THE ZIMBABWE DNA RESULTS: LORD, EXPOSE EVERY LIE!

BASIC SCRIPTURES:
HEBREWS 3: 1 - 6;
1 KINGS 22: 22

Something very bizarre and mind-blowing was unearthed in Zimbabwe in 2018. It was found that majority of women in that country may be lying about the paternity (real fathers) of their children. As many as 70% of men in the country are probably not the biological fathers of children they thought were theirs, if the DNA results done there in 2018 were anything to go by. According to a paternity outfit that goes by the name Global DNA Zimbabwe, test results carried out, spanning over a period of 16 months, showed that most of the men were not the fathers of their children. For instance, of the people that went for DNA tests in January 2018, 84% of the men proved not to be the fathers of the children involved! He said, “The majority of people are living in the dark. But truth be told, the mother has already told the real father about the child, and not wanting to take responsibility, the real father leaves the other man to take care of the child and pay school fees even university. Imagine the disappointment/pain later in life when after university, the real father comes and says: “This is my child.” What a world we live in! Just imagine the level of deceit and unfaithfulness that has been meted out to such men! How would you feel when you discover that your spouse has not been faithful and that you have been raising another man’s child or children? As 2020 ends, decree and pray that God will reveal every DECEITFUL person or event around your life, family and ministry! I just heard my 3 Friends” (The Trinity) telling me to tell you that in 28 days, you will know a secret that has been hidden from you for years! Every LYING SPIRIT will be exposed

Decree also, that you will not labour for others to eat! This kind of unfaithfulness and deceit can even lead to the children ………………1st scripture says that Moses was a faithful servant in God’s house (See Heb 3: 5). TOPIC: THE STOLEN AMBULANCE: EXCUSES ARE UNDERTAKERS! – 1

BASIC SCRIPTURE: GENESIS 3: 1 - 19.

Sometime in July 2019, a Texan man stole an ambulance fronm a psychiatric hospital (Cypress Greek Hospital in Houston, Texas) where he was once a patient. The ambulance was said to have been taken so easıly by the man because its engine was left running and the man was familiar with the hospital. The man who was described by police to be in his sixties took the ambulance to buy chicken and cigarettes. When staff noticed that the ambulance was nowhere to be found, they called the police around 2.30am.
Officers electronically tracked the ambulance to a nearby gas station where they found the man sitting in the vehicle with fried chicken and cigarettes. When the police asked him why he stole the ambulance, he told them that he needed it as a ride to run some errands which included a food stop at KFC eatery. But despite the reasons he gave, he was taken into custody and was charged for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The Holy Ghost wants you to know that THE SPIRITUAL WORLD HAS NO TIME FOR EXCUSES! THERE IS NO SIMPATY IN THE WAR FRONT OF LIFE!

You must determine to do what is right always! Determine to live holy/pure! Determine to succeed! Detemine to avoid any evil/sinful association! Determine to make heaven at all cost! Apart from this case, that same month, a woman was arrested in New Mexico because she refused to pay for her FOOD ORDER in a drive-in. When the server asked her to pay for her meal, she was said to have told the server that she took the order for God to pay. Funny! They all had EXCUSES for what they did! Saul had an EXCUSE for why he could not obey the LORD (today’s scripture). He put the blame on the THE PEOPLE – Vs. 15 “And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the peopłe spared the best of the sheep and of the o Len, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God Wow!

That one EXCUSE OF BLAMING OTHERS BURIED HIS THRONE and CHANGED HIS NAME TO ICHABOD FOREVER – the glory departed from him and evil spirits took over! An amazing world deed! Excuses are the doors openers for demonic spirits! No wonder Agatha Christie said: “To rush into explanations is always a sign of weakness.” Dave Del Dotto quipped, “No one ever excused his way to success.” Yes! YOU CANNOT EXCUSE YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS YOU CAN ONLY EXCUSE YOUR WAY TO SHAME, DEMOTION AND FAILURE! Always remember this: EXCUSES WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU, BUT OPPORTUNITIES WILL NOT! Ah! TOPIC: THE EVIL BIRD AND EVIL SPIES.

BASIC SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 8: 1 - 13

A minister of God told the story of a woman in a labour room who was about to give birth. As the woman was in labour, a red feathered bird flew into the labour ward. The bird spent a little time, looked at everyone there and flew out. As soon as the bird flew away, the woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl who grew up to become a mature woman. But on the wedding day of this girl (now a matured woman), the bird showed up again at the wedding reception hall. The bird landed on the reception table, looked at everyone and flew out again. The girl that had just got married did not know anything about the red feathered bird but the mother remembered that she had seen the bird somewhere many years ago while she was in the maternity labour room. Nobody saw that bird again until the “girl” (now a matured woman) who got married was about to give birth in a hospital.

This same bird flew in as usual and was looking at this woman who had just been delivered of a baby. The nurses saw the bird and wondered what it was doing in the labour ward, So they closed all the windows and used sticks to beat it to death. n their attempt to do this, they completely forgot the woman who had just been delivered of a baby. By the time they turned again to her, she had died. That means the aim of that bird was to make sure that this lady remained distracted all her life! THE BIRD HAD BEEN MONITORING THE DEAD LADY FROM WHEN SHE WAS BORN! Yes! That bird (evil powers) had been pursuing her destiny star right from the day she was born till she died. The Lord wants you to use today’s devotional to deal with MONITORING SPIRITS! Isaiah 8:19 says: “And when they shall say unto you, ‘Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God for the living to the dead? Yes! There are familiar spirits in the witchcraft world that PEEP (spy on you like that bird) AND MUTTER (they give reports to their senior demonic bosses). They are familiar because THEY KNOW YOU and are close to you! They are not strangers! They could be members of your household or very close but dangerous friends! WORLD PROPHETIC NIGHT: PAIN PRODUCERS MUST DIE

GENESIS 37: 31-36.

Verses 31-35 says: “And they took Joseph’s coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood; And they sent the coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son’s coat or no. And he knew it, and said, It is my son’s coat, an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces. And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.

And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, ‘For I will go down into the grave unto my Son mourning.’ Thus his father wept for him.” Amazing! Note the words: “And all his sons… rose up to comfort him.” Did you get that? His comforters were his pain and tears manufacturers! Ah! What a wicked world! Yes! They were pretending to be comforting him, but truth is; they were mocking him! Joseph was a source of JOY and HOPE to his father Jacob and his wicked sons knew it.

But they supposedly killed his joy and hope and left him in pain, sorrow, agony and hopelessness. And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that in this last quarter of 2020, every pain producer around your life and destiny shall run mad. Do you know that there are satanic machineries planted to produce pain, regret, tears and sorrow in families, businesses, careers, jobs, marriages and in the nations of the earth? Do you know that there are demonic cangers manufactured to exchange your gain for pain, your beauty for ashes, your peace for despair, your joy to sorrow and your elevation for demotion as the year comes to an end? Ah!

But I Prophesy: today/tonight, they must die! Yes! Yes! Yes! Those planning to silence you will be silenced! Those behind your pain and tears shall dry up tonight! I command every satanic machine producing pain and shame in your life and ministry to catch fire now/tonight! I decree today and indeed this last quarter of 2020 that every unrepentant unfriendly friend that is the reason for your pain, demotion, tears and sorrow, must end their mission tonight.

1 SAMUEL 8: 4 - 21

Vs 7 of today’s scripture says: “And the LORD said unto Samuel, ‘Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.” So the mystery of answered prayers is that THERE ARE TIMES GOD CAN DECIDE TO ANSWER A PRAYER THAT WILL PUNISH YOU if you are so desperate to have that thing. God knew that the desire of the Jews to have a king would bring pain and regrets to them, but after some delay, He asked Samuel to grant them their answered prayers!

Listen: SOME PRAYER ANSWERS ARE NOT FOR YOUR GOOD! God might grant your answers IF YOU INSIST, but you may end up in TEARS! For example, death is a less bitter punishment than death’s delay, If God knows that your living a long life will lead you to HELIL, is it not better to call you home early’ That is why as 2020 ends, always pray, “LORD GOD, let Your WILL BE DONE!” After your 21-day or 14-day fasting programme, always pray: “LORD GOD, let Your WILL BE DONE! You know ALL THINGS! You are a GOOD GOD and You DESIRE THE BEST FOR ME!

I shall trust You Forever and ever.” You must catch Psalm 84:11 again: “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Did you get that? No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly! Oh, thank you LORD GOD! Trust that God has an UNSEEN REASON FOR EVERY DELAY! If you don’t want to be average, don’t rush to do what the crowd is doing. You may cry for helpers, but sometimes, God cannot give you helpers, without shaking someone out of your life!

When you fight to cling to people who are no longer meant to be in your life, you delay your destiny. LET THEM GO! Yes, when events you cannot explain happen AFTER YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOU KNOW TO DO, just lift up your hands and praise God by telling HIM: LET YOUR WILL BE DONE! Some pain is GAIN in disguise! Yes! Some disappontments are divine appointments in disguise! Ah! Some closed doors are actually NEW OPEN DOORS in disguise! Nature does not hury, yet everything is accomplished! So, don’t seek to compete with others because you shall RECOVER and OVERTAKE!

TOPIC: ALWAYS SEEK HIS WILL! THE 15 EXTRA YEARS OF PAIN!

2 KINGS 20: 4 - 20

I know of a sister in LAGOS, Nigeria whose husband suddenly left the home and for about 2 years, they were separated. As she cried to me weekly, I told the LORD I NEEDED A MIRACLE, we wanted the man to return as a changed man for good and for God. The LORD told me then, that his coming back will not be good for her! I was shocked and I reminded Him that. HE IS THE LORD WHO CAN DO, UNDO, RE-DO AND OVER DO!

My prayer was: “LORD, let the joy of your daughter be full; bring back her husband. We prayed and waited and insisted that HE MUST RETURN. And the LORD answered. One early morning, the sister called me and said her husband wanted her to come to Abuja, Nigeria, where he was staying. We were OVER JOYED and excited. She left for Abuja the next day after visiting the salon for a classical hairdo. A week later, I got another call and the voice on the other side was weeping. She was the sister of the lady who had gone to join the husband. She told me that her sister was on a medical ambulance and was gasping for breath.

She was flown from Abuja straight into the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). Before I could reach there, she had passed on to glory! She died! We lost her and we wept! So what would have happened if she had not gone to see her husband? The LORD warned us but we were excited and insistent! The Holy Ghost wants you to know that sometimes, NOT EVERY GOOD THING IS A GOD THING! Marriage is good but God sees what we do not see! Reunion or mariage at the wrong time OUTSIDE God’s time is WRONG! The right thing done at the wrong time makes it wrong! NEVER RUSH GOD over any matter!

In today’s Scripture, when Hezekiah insisted on more years, God gave him 15 more years! But do you know that that those 15 years produced the genesis of the BABYLONIAN CAPTIVITY OF THE JEWS? This was because in that same chapter- (Vs 12- Vs 13), you Hezekiah showcased ALL HIS GLAMOUR and wealth to some visitors from Babylon. For Hezekiah’s PRIDE, God decreed that the BABYLONIANS would overthrow his kingdom. And what a disgrace he brought the then descendants of the servant of Jehovah – DAVID!

So his EXTRA 15 years led to EXTRA SHAME AND CAPTIVITY of God’s people. Would it not have been better for him to have died? Pray seriously today now! Today is my Birthday! Pray for me!

WASHINGTON President Trump on Wednesday defended his increasingly frequent practice of calling the COVID-19 attack on the world as the CHINESE VIRUS. In fact, there was a day he called it the “KUNG-FU VIRUS.” He delended it by saying that “it’s not racist at all. It comes from China, that’s why. But the term angered Chinese officials because Asian-Americans have reported incidents of racial slurs and physical abuse because of the erroneous perception that China is the cause of the virus. Mr. Trump told reporters that he was attaching “China to the name of the virus to combat a disinformation campaign promoted by Bejing officials that the American military was the source of the outbreak. Still, since the beginning of the outbreak, Mr. Trump and high-ranking administrative officials have sought to pinpoint blame for the spread of the virus on China, and Beijing has responded in kind. The finger-pointing over which country has done less to contain the disease has caused tension between the two nations almost on a daily basıs. But what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that ONCE THERE IS A PROBLEM IN YOUR LIFE, FAMILY AND MINISTRY, stop calling it names! A study just showed that some 4.75 million animal lovers in Britain, won’t let their pets see them naked. They said they will never UnCloth in the presence of their pets. Animal Welfare Charity Brooke finds the least embarrassed in Eastern England. Those in South West insist that they will never allow their pets to see their unclothedness. Wow! Undressing is an everyday task, but a quarter of Britons won’t let their pets see how God made them NAKED. Funny but true! But when men are ashamed to be naked before animals, does it cross their minds that WE ARE ALL NAKED DAILY BEFORE GOD? Yes! Even when pets don’t see your unclothedness, never forget that in the eyes of your Creator, NOTHING IS HIDDEN FROM HIM. Hebrews 4:13 says Neither is there any creature that is not manilfest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. TOPIC: PUT THE GLASS DOWN!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 11: 25 - 30

A professor entered his classroom with a glass of water. He raised the glass of water, Everyone in the room expected the “half entry or half full” question. Instead, to everyone’s surprise, the professor smiled and inquired: How heavy is this glass of water? The answers called out for the range from 8 Oz to 15 Oz. “I need to weigh it to know how much exactly it weighs. But the question, I really want you to answer is- what if I held the glass up for a minute? asked the professor. “Nothing” the students answered unanimously. “But what if I hold it for an hour?” asked the professor. ” Your arms will start aching”, answered one of the students. You are right! But what if I held it up for a whole day,? the professor asked further. Your arms will feel numb, your muscles get stressed and it may even, get paralyzed ventured another student, “You are right!”, exclaimed the professor. “So what should I do to avoid the pain? asked the professor. “Keep the glass down”, answered a student. Exactly!” said the professor. He continued “In all the cases the weight of the glass remains the same. But, the longer I held it up, the heavier it becomes. The stress and worries in life are like the glass of water, If you think about them for a while, nothing happens. Think about them for longer, they will start hurting.

Think about them for even longer, you will feel stress and be paralysed.” Oh, what a lesson in our devotional today! The problems of life do not cease till you die! But, you should not carry the stress long enough that it begins to ache and paralyze your life. It is important to let go of your stress! Let go of that worry! Let go of that anger against those who hurt you! Let go of bitterness/unforgiveness! Matthew 11:28 says: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Rest is when you PUT DOWN every GLASS of PAIN! Let go of thinking about YOUR FUTURE! PUT THE GLASS OF STRESS AND WORRY DOWN! See how Tammy L. Kubasko puts it: “Let go of what you think you know. Something amazing happens when you let God and trust Him.” Yes! He has something greater than your worries and your fears! “It hurts to let go, but sometimes it hurts more to hold on.” To heal your wound, you need to stop touching it! PUT THE GLASS OF PAST MISTAKES AND ANXIETY DOWN! What God has in store for you is never in the past! He has awesome things, relationships and testimonies ahead!

Topic: The Stranded Parrot and the Firefighter.

Basic Scripture:
Romans 2: 1 - 11

Parrots are among the most intelligent birds with a unique ability for some species to imitate human voices. Very recently parrot in London named Jessie escaped from the home of the owner and perched on a nearby roof for 3 days. The London Fire Brigade was called to rescue the fine bird. The parrot owner told the fire brigade crew member that in order to bond with the bird, he should say to her, “I love you” The firefighter did exactly that. However, when he told Jessie, “I love you” she reportedly told the London Fire Brigade crew member to “Bleep off” What a response to a loving call for a rescue, you would say. Brigade Watch Manager, Chris Swallow, said the rescue was attempted because there were concerns that she may be injured” since she had stayed up on the roof for so long. Many people are like Parrot Jessie. When they hear a loving call for the salvation of their souls, they rebuff it, asking the preacher, like Jessie, to “Bleep off.” You may be reading this piece today and you have rebuffed the salvation message for so long. You can pray the prayers on page 28 of this book and dedicate your life to Jesus Christ again! Do not be like Israel that Apostle Paul referred to in Romans 10:21, “But to Israel He saith, All day long I have stretched forth My hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.” As in Verse 4 of today’s scripture, God’s goodness, forbearance, and long-suffering are aimed at giving you an opportunity for repentance.

Note also that the parrot spoke the words she had always heard the owner use! Be careful how you talk! Be mindful of how you dress! Be concerned generally about your lifestyle because someone or even a parrot might be watching you! The story of Jessie the parrot ended well. Later, she calmed down and returned back home to her owner and was filmed sheepishly saying, “thank you” to the fire service. “I have been stagnated for 13 years after graduation without a job; each day I applied for a job, that night I would dream and see myself in either my Secondary or primary school. I have been trusting in people that I knew instead of God. Until God opened my eyes to see the missing link which is to believe in Him and Him alone: so I started looking forward to the July 2019 worldwide 14-day prayer and fasting programme. On the 30th of June/1st July, l dreamt that I gave birth twice that night; and you know that marine spirits are meant to cause delay. I saw it as a strategy to discourage me from the fasting programme, so I refused to give up! A day to. the fasting programme, a terrible headache/catarrh came upon me and it lasted for 5 days. Still, I refused to break the fast. I went for an analgesic. To cut the long story short, God gave me deliverance during that program! For the first time, I saw myself in a dream driving Out of my secondary school. I went to sow my “Story to Glory” seed in the bank and prayed for God t to prove that He was not the author of confusion. I explained all this because there are evil arrows that distract one from his/her glory hour, and that was to. show that my glory hour was near and that they were doing everything possible to hinder it. But to the glory of God, some months after that, I got a job which I have been searching for, for 13 years! I resumed the job the same day, without an interview.
