Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. (Read 2 Kings 4:1-7)
Here are seven lessons to learn from these.

1. Total Trust in God. You can’t trust God and get disappointed. You trust in God guarantees victory and success. The woman went straight to the man of God because she believes in God; she had no any other alternative but to call on God on the day of trouble. Her husband was among the servant of Elisha who must have been faithful during his service with God. That gave the woman courage to go and meet Elisha.

2. Do not despise the little you have. Many people don’t know they have what can make them great tomorrow right with them. God has already deposited something in you.The woman thought she had nothing, until she remembered that she had a little oil which later turns out to be great overflow of oil. She even called it “little oil”. Beloveth, that little oil in her house saved her and family from shame, embarrassment, disgrace, poverty, untimely death, loneliness. Because, if the creditor had come to take her two sons away not even one, she would have been so poor and lonely which could lead to her committing suicide.
The little in your hand can be something great and overflowing tomorrow. The little you have might just be a simple idea; it might be one simple thing you know how to do better than others. It could anything, just take a step of faith with it.
There is saying that Rome was not built in a day. A journey of a thousand miles starts with a step. Do something with the little you have and you would be amazed with the result.

3. Be friendly. As christian, we must let the light of Jesus shine in our life so that even our neighbors would be able to see the Jesus in us. The man of God told her to borrow empty vessel from everywhere she could, not excluding her neighbors too, because he know she could quickly get it fast and easy from her neighbors than anywhere else, forgetting that she might not actually get it if she’s unfriendly with her neighbors or have a bad character.
Elisha simple instruction to her simply mean“go and borrow empty vessel from anywhere you could get it and most especially go to your neighbors because even if you didn’t get it anywhere, it’s certain you’ll get it from your neighbors”. The woman must be a friendly woman, if not; nobody will be willing to give her any vessel. And for a woman to release her property to someone, especially if that person is unfriendly, you know what she could pass through.
She was able to get plenty of empty vessels because she maintained a good relationship with her neighbors.

4. Be a good listener. Every good listeners always emerge victorious because they pay attention to everything that is being said.The woman went to Elisha with a broken heart because the bible recorded that she cried unto Elisha which illustrates that she was grieved in heart, despite her condition then, she still maintained her peace and listen to every tiny detail of the instructions. Through her good listening, she was able to carry out the job successfully. As recorded, Elisha gave her six solid instructions which she was able to carry out successfully.
1. Go borrow vessels. (Not cups, not bailer)
2. Empty vessels. (Not filled with anything).
3. Do not gather just a few.
4. Shut the door behind you and your sons.
5. Pour the oil into all those vessels
6. And set aside the full ones.
It takes a good listener to be able to carry out those steps successfully.

5. Obedience is better than sacrifice . There is no second best option to disobedience, not even sacrifice. If the woman had not obeyed all what she was ordered to do, her two sons would have been caught into slavery till the debt has been fully paid. If the woman had rubbished what the man of God had said and later went her way to look for solution herself she would have fully paid the price of disobedience with her son by sacrificing her son for a debt. When one don’t obey, the outcome is always bad. No amount of sacrifice is the best alternative to a simple obedience.

6. Faith is not a risk but unbelief is. When you put faith to work, you are at risk because faith is not a risk, unbelief is. It’s very easy for the woman to walk out from Elisha because it make no sense at all considering what the woman said and what Elisha said she should do. She must have been thinking maybe Elisha will give her some money to pay her debt or go with her to the creditor to plead on her behalf. But none of this happened, he gave her a simple instruction that looks foolish in the eyes, but she believed because she had faith.
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. 1 Corinthians 1:27.

7. God rewards faithfulness. Whatever you sow, you shall reap.Any seed of faithfulness you sow, God sees it, it doesn’t matter if anybody did not see it. God sees it and he will reward you.
Elisha was able to help the woman because her husband was a faithful man. The faithfulness of her husband saved his entire family from poverty. If her husband had been an evil worker of God, Elisha may have found it hard to attend to her case or might not even attend to her at all. God rewarded the faithfulness of the man service to him by blessing is family with overflowing blessing.Brethren, I want to let you know that God is not a robber, he will reward every bit of your faithfulness towards men and for his service, and he will not forget your labor of love. God is not a man that he should lie or repent.
Whatever a man sow that he shall also reap, beloveth, make up your today to sow a good seed any where you go so that you can also reap your good fruits. If you haven’t surrender to Jesus Christ to help you be a new man, make up your mind today to surrender to him and you will shout hallelujah!These are seven lessons to learn from Elisha and the widow’s oil; I hope you were able to grab one or two things to apply in your daily work. No giver can ever remain a beggar, no giver can ever remain a loser, all givers will never lack and all givers will always remain a winner.

Giving is not a ministry of a particular person, neither is it an ordained ministry of some individual, giving is everybody’s business, giving is everybody’s ministry. Everybody are supposed to be a partaker of giving and sowing, because when we give cheerfully, we are fulfilling one of the ministry God put in our hands and he’ll reward us according to what we gave and sow.

Giving is everybody‘s business, is not meant for a certain foundation or philanthropist only, is meant for everybody. We are supposed to be givers most especially in the things that will expand the kingdom of God. Even our God almighty gave us so much despite us being disobedient to him; he gave, gave and gave till he gave his only begotten son JESUS to us which is the best gift to every mankind till today.

Giving is a ministry that everyone of must fulfill, and the only way for us to fulfill it is to ask to help us so that he can open our spiritual eyes to see the power that’s in giving. My pastor used to say that, whatever you give at a particular may leave your hand at that period but it can never leave your life. No matter what you sow you’ll surely reap. Nobody has ever been rewarded for what he or she receives, you can only be rewarded for what you give out not for what you receive.

Giving does not only requires material things only or resources, giving can be in form of anything, it can be your time, talents, treasure, good advice, words of encouragement, supports both in physical and spiritual, etc. but to whom much is given much is required.

If you know God has blessed you so much, you are to give out too. Don’t let your neighbor die of lack. You are to give until giving becomes part of your living.

The widow of zarephat gave her last morsel of meal, but at the end, she had more than enough for the rest of her life. She and her son spent the rest of their life in abundance all because they obeyed and believed in the power of giving. (See 1 Kings 17:1-15).

Beloved, giving is everybody’s business, giving is everybody’s ministry and you must fulfill your ministry in Jesus name. If you’ve been fulfilling your giving ministry, I encourage you to do more. If you have not started fulfilling yours, start now and the Lord will be with you.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

It’s so simple and easy but all is by the special grace of God, though some might require self-discipline and sacrifices but they all worth it. You just decide and take the step, you I’ll be amazed of the divine restoration and transformation that‘ll take place in your body soul and spirit. And the good news about it is that they are all free. Now let’s move on…

1. Exercise:
Exercise is good for our body and it keeps our system active. It is recommended that we should exercise daily for at least 30mins, but too many activities have kept us away from exercising. You don’t need to pay for an expensive exercising program; you can start on your own by doing some push up, road walk, light jogging etc. Fitting regular exercise into your daily schedule may seem difficult at first. But even ten minutes at a time is fine. The key is to find the right exercise for you. It should be fun and should match your abilities.Just come out of the jungle and stretch your muscle. Read 1 Timothy 4:8

2. Water:
water is life and it’s free gift of nature, no living creature can ever survive without water. Man, animals, plants. They all need water to stay alive. A glass of water in the morning before you brush your teeth keeps your system very active during the day and gives energy. 8 – 10 glass of water per day is not a bad deal. Water restores, water refreshes, water renews water rejuvenates. Now go grab a glass of clean water and sip it. Read Mark 9:41,

3. Prayer:
This is one of the surest ways to communicate with our God; it’s the only network that doesn’t need a credit card before you can make a call. This service never shut down and it’s free, you can call anytime, anyplace and anywhere. Because our God never sleeps nor slumbers, he’s always ready and ever ready to pick your call. Read Philippians 4:6-7
4. Praise:
Praise bring down the presence of God from Heaven, when you praise, u get a direct and free ticket to the throne of grace because it breaks the unbreakable, shake the unshakeable, speaks the unspeakable, Praise brings fire from heaven. Praise connects you to the presence of God. Praise God for who he is, praise him for his almightiness, praise him for his awesomeness. He demands and he deserves our praise. Let everything that has breathe praise the Lord. Read Acts 16:25-26
5. Worship:
If you are looking for one of the surest ways to receive a blank cheque from heaven, try praise and worship. Praise and worship always go together because they are like one and they both need each other. They work together to bring forth the glory of God and also connects you to his presence. Worship God in spirit and in truth and see the glory of the lord. Read John 4:24
6. Fasting:
Fasting strengthen your inner man and supply your spirit the necessary balance diet to complete a major task for you in the spiritual realm. Like my pastor used to say that the spiritual controls the physical. When you fasting, your organs are resting, because they won’t have to do some whining and grinding for at least for some hours. It’s also recommended that you can fast at least once a week for a better health improvement. When you’re fasting, you are not fasting to any man, you‘re fasting to God. So don’t make it plain to any man that you‘re fasting, the God who see you in secret will reward you openly. Read Matthew 6:16-18, Matthew 17:14-21
7. The Word:
This is the only free spiritual bread that is packaged in 3 in 1, because it does not only prosper your body only but also prosper your soul and spirits. And whatever prosper your body soul and spirits, will prosper you in every areas of your life, physically, spiritually, mentally, financially, martially, academically intellectually etc.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Read Psalm 119:105, Hebrews 4:12
8. Dancing:
Many of us are guilty when it comes to dancing in the church. We hardly dance in the church but we can throw all kinds of different steps when listening to worldly music. Some of us can sing and dance so much in the bathroom, only to get to church and start moving slowly left to right even when the praise is high. May God have mercy on us o? Read 2 Samuel 6:20-23, Psalms 30:11
9. Laughter:
Laughter is another one free gift of the nature. It doesn’t take any extra power to put that beautiful smile on your face. All you have to do is choose to smile and that’s all. You can decide to open your teeth and mouth while laughing or better still close your mouth and laugh, they are all the same. Don’t go around and be frowning as if you‘re carrying a 50kg dangote cement on your head. Choose to smile and look more beautiful and younger. It’s easier to smile than to frown. Read Psalms 2:4
10. Resting:
When God created the heavens the earth, he created it in just six days and rested on the seventh day. If GOD can create this wonderful and beautiful earth as big as it is and still take a rest, what should now prevent an ordinary man to take a break from his work? Except that you are trying to create your own heaven and earth in another non-existing planet. This is not an excuse or introduction to laziness o? Read Genesis 2:1-3, Exodus 20:8-11, Psalm 127:1-2
11. Holy Spirit:
From his name, you know what it means, without holiness no man will ever see GOD. Holy Spirit is free but requires a lot of self-discipline and self-denial, total commitment and obedience to God, he’s ever ready to come and partner with anybody that invites him. But the question is you ready for him? Read Acts 1:7-8, Acts 2:1-4, 1 Peter 1:15-16
12. Salvation:
You should know this is where I will drop my pen on this article, salvation simply means eternal life. Salvation is free, you have to be saved to benefits fully from all these free gifts mentioned above to mankind, what does it means to be saved, it means to be born again. To surrender your life totally to Christ and for you to do that you have to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and savior. Have a Nice Day.

Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he’s old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Children are the heritage of the Lord. They are so precious in the eyes of God, and they are a beautiful gift to every family and to the world. God blessed us with children for us to train them to meet his standard. He expects us to help and teach them to become vessels unto honor and to be the best they can be in life. Failure to do so will be unpleasing in his eyes.

Either parents or guardians are just a caretaker. We can only try our best for them and God will do rest because he’s the original owner of them. We are just a stewardship for them, so we must raise them to level that God expected the to be.

Here are 17 ways out many to raise a Godly children, now let’s ride.

1. Soak them with the word of God.
Teaching them the word of God is the very first thing we should let them know. By doing this, their heart will be set on the things of God. The psalmist says the word is a lamp unto my feet and a lamp unto my path. When children are soaked with the word of God from their early stage, they will flourish and shine because the word will shine light in to their path

2. Don’t be too strict on them.
Many people thinks by being too strict on children is the only way they can always learn and obey I’m sorry; it doesn’t really work that way. Being strict on children will only hardened their heart the more and makes them feel you don’t love them. I’m not saying they should not be corrected when they go wrong, of course they should but let everything be done In proper moderation.

3. Don’t over pamper them.
Don’t over pamper them and don’t be too strict on them. Let everything be done in orderliness and in moderation. You are a nurse doesn’t mean you should over nurse them, you’re a soldier doesn’t mean that you should be beat them with koboko always. Children are apple of God’s eye for God sake. They are meant to be catering for. If they go wrong, correct them in a well appropriate manner and in a Godly way.

4. Pray for them.
This is one of the most important areas we must not neglect in raising our children. Children needs prayers likewise parents too. The little prayer we pray for them today can go a very long way in their life. You don’t have to wait till things go wrong before you pray for them. Pray for them always either they are performing well or not. You can hold a vigil for them in your room at least once a week and also pray for them every day in your quiet time or morning devotion.

5. Teach them how to pray.
Don’t pray for them only, teach them also how to pray by so doing your mind will be at peace and the both of you will be pleasing in God’s eye. You can start with the Lord’s Prayer. (see Matthew 6:9-13)

6. Be a good example.
Like a popular Yoruba adage that says ile lan ti ko eso ro de. Which simply means charity begins at home. You have to lead by example because whatever you do in their presence is being stored up in their brain. After a while they will start to replicate and imitate your character, it might not be now but it will surely shows up one day. If you are the type that curse, fights, gossips, drinks, or smoke always. They will definitely take after you. Whatever you sow, you shall reap. Be a good role model to your children and you will glad you did.

7. Teach them simple etiquette.
It’s a shameful thing that most parents have neglected their role as guardians by handling their children to their school teacher to teach them what they are supposed to learn from them. It’s your duty to teach them some of these things. Teachers are now taking the important roles of some parents these days which is not really a good idea.Teachers have their parts to play, we also as parents have our own part to play. And don’t forget that teachers also have their own children to cater for too. So it’s your duty to first teach your children simple etiquette. Don’t leave everything in the hands of their teachers. do your part and let the teachers do the rest.

8. Do your duty a parents / guardians.
Like earlier, don’t neglect your role a parents by allowing other people to take after your responsibility. Neglecting little things can cost you a lot. The little might not count for anything at present but as time goes by; they will pile up and turn out to something else which might surpass what you can handle.

“If parents are too busy to train a child they would not be too busy to attend to their trouble”.

9. Keep an eye on what they watch and listen to.
You must be interested in everything they do. Many of the programs that are shown on television these days are done and dusted. They are nothing but rubbish programs. Some of these programs can cause a lot of damages to the mentality of children because they are arranged in the pit of hell to minister useless and foolish message in to their soul. Know clearly that whatever consumes your mind controls your life. Whatever ever they watch or listen to will have an effect in their life in future. Same thing applies to worldly music. Worldly music are composed and lyrically given by demons to entice children and to occupy their hearts with lustful desires. Be interested in what they watch and the kind of music they listen to. In as much they are still in your custody, you must pay proper attention to what they watch and the kind of music they listen to.

10. Watch the company they keep.
Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are. If you want your child to be a mighty vessel in God’s hand. You must start watching the kind of friends they keep. Any friend you know that’ll not add positive value to their life, you have to separate them. Find out the kind of company they keep. Don’t leave them to choose any kind of friend they want but you can teach and help them to know the kind of friends they should follow. Your children’s friend will either make or mar their destiny.

11. Buy a copy of a bible for them.
From day one of the child’s birth, the bible should be the first gift you should present to your child. It is the best gift you can ever present to them.

12. Teach them how to read the bible.
When they are matured enough to read and write, teach them how to read the bible. Always read it out loud to their ears and let it stick in their mind. You can create a time for bible study so they can get used to it. Remember Joshua 1:8 says,This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success

13. Give them what they need not what they want.
If you allow them to point out what they wanted, then you must be prepared to spend more than what you budget and also ready to buy the whole world for them. The best way not to spend unnecessary cash on things they want is to provide them with what they need. If you provide them with what they need, the things they wanted might not necessarily be necessary.

14. Spend quality time with them.
Never stay away from them for too long, always try to be round them and play with them. Create quality time for them so that you can truly discover who they really are. By so doing you will quickly discover who they are likely to become. Some children can’t go near daddy especially when he’s reading punch newspaper, so as the mother too, when seated at the front of T.V watching Africa magic.
If you don’t play with them, they might start to feel dull and lonely which may affect their mental performance. Parental touch makes children happy so try to spend quality time with them.

15. Plan your holidays.
Many parents might not fancy going out on holidays, vacations with their children or taking them out just to catch a glimpse of fun. They just feel that hanging around under that coconut tree in the compound is enough? My friend, that isn’t enough. It will be wonderful thing to Move out from that garden and Plan to go on vacations, holidays or outing with your family, they will enjoy it and they will love it. You can make it weekly, monthly, biannual or annually. Take them out and be proud of them. It also will bring your family more closely than ever and enhance your relationship with them.

16. Introduce them to Christ.
Parents are supposed to be the first preacher to preach about Christ to their children. If you don’t preach Christ to them they will definitely get preached to outside and you might lose a reward for not preaching Christ to them initially at their early stage.
And you know children can be very funny, they will say my mummy and my daddy didn’t tell me anything about Christ which very embarrassing.
Immediately you know they are becoming wise, introduce Christ to them before others will help you and grab the portion of your reward. I pray nobody will steal your crown in Jesus name.

17. Love them equally.
As parents, you are supposed to love them equally. Never love them partially or irrationally. If God has blessed you with more than one or you are expecting another one, you are meant to love them equally. By loving them equally, you won’t create enmity between them and they will feel safe all the time. Remember, love conquer all things.

Conclusion

Children are apple of God’s eye and they are very precious in God’s eye. The way you train them will determine what they will likely become in life; remember children are the heritage of the Lord, God is the only that can take care of them, you are to do your best and he will do the rest. heaven is not a place for jokers, heaven no be beans, heaven is not meant for unserious minded people, heaven is a serious business which you have to ask for God's Grace because it's not by power nor by might.

if you study the criteria to make heaven you 'll discover that you need higher level of God's grace and mercies to make heaven.

Jesus told us in the book of Matthew 5:48 KJV
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

You can't continue to live a normal life and say that you want to make heaven, how many of you here, imagined you are standing on your right and you got slapped in the midst of a conversation not even an argument and then you turn your other ear to the same person to give you another hot slap, well maybe 1 out of 10,000. In the physical realm it's abnormal but in the spiritual realm it's normal.

or how many of you here can pluck out one of his or her own eyes if they make you to commit sins?
You see why you need to surrender now to Jesus to help you control your life.
heaven's grade is always 100/100 or nothing less, not even 99% Pass, that is why you have to live a blameless and a perfect life.

The first step you must take if you want to make heaven is that you must be saved, how can you be saved? you must be born again, you must surrender your life to Jesus.

God's Original plan for every man is very unique and glorious. Even some parents, have a very good plan for their children before the child was born, some after the child has started walking, and some after the child has grown up to the age of 18 years.

When we begin to highlight these plans, we will discover that they are a very good and solid plan.
But no matter how good and solid plans parents have for their children, the almighty God still has the original and better plan for that child in his hands right even before the child was conceived, because he's the original master planner.

The bible says that:

Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) says
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

The new living translation (NLT) says
“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.     Before you were born I set you apart     and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”

God has a different and unique plans for everyone one us, the plan God have for Mr A is totally different from the one he has for Mr B. The plans God has for sister Simi is still totally different from sister Titi's.

God original plan for our lives is always the best and he's not ready to use any alternatives plan other than the initial and original one he has. But either knowingly or unknowingly, we always force God to use alternatives plans rather than the original plan. Before you know it you are gradually shifting, drifting and diverting from God's original plan to the alternatives ones. The scriptures says that in the book of Jeremiah

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) says
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

The new living translation (NLT) says
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

As a merciful father, all is plan for our lives are to fulfil the divine purpose and assignment he has for us.
A lot of people are engaged in to many different kind of things in life but they don't even know if they are fulfilling God's purpose or not. Little did they even understand that There is different between fulfilling your purpose and fulfilling God's purpose.

NOTE: Anybody without purpose is nobody.

To operate under God's Original plan is for you to be at the level he wants you to be which is the top level not below, not under not beneath and not even beside.

God doesn't want us to struggle in life that is why he created us in his image. It is never his plans for us to be struggling because he has already prepared and packaged his divine blessings for every one us. But due to our own lustful desires and disobedient, we have been doing almost everything without God involvement and intervention and we have eventually missed some packages he has for us.

The book of Romans let us know that

Romans 3:23 KJV
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

New living translation (NLT) says:
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

I pray that you will not miss God divine packages he has for you in Jesus name.
But the Grace he gave through his son Jesus Christ, he is ever ready to restore us back to our original plan if on only we acknowledge and obey him and also keep his commandment.

If you're still still practicing the fruits of the flesh, still committing any kind of sin, my friend you're just living on your own purpose and plan not God's purpose and original plan.

Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) says:
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these ; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, [20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

If you still find it hard to keep God's commandment, to pray, to fast, to meditate on the word of God, to listen to the word of God, to activate your faith, my friend you're still very far from God's Original plan for your life.

Never worried if you still find yourself in these categories cause the KING of kings is still ready to restore you back to his divine original plan he had for you initially. The book of chronicles tells us that

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

New living translation (NLT) says:
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

For you to be restored back to God's divine original and for you to fulfil his divine purpose for your life, you have to be born again. I was reading a book earlier this week when the author shared a story of a farmer in a book called acres of diamond by Russel Conwell and i think i should share with you so we can learn one or two things.

A farmer named Al-Haffed who was tired of miserable lot in life. He had the dream of becoming very rich and famous but concluded that he could not achieve that dream through farming. He sold his farm to another farmer and left is farm and family and journeyed to a distant lands in search of diamonds. He traveled round the world in a futile search and died a poor, frustrated and broken man without setting his eyes on any diamonds. Back home, the farmer who bought Al-Haffed ‘s farm together with one of the wise men on the east started cultivating it. One day the farmer accidentally discovered a large and unusual stone on the land while farming. After examination by experts, he was told he just discovered the world largest diamonds.

Al-Haffed’s farmland was one of the world largest diamond fields but he went on futile search for diamonds. If he had remained at home and continued on his farm he would have become one of the richest men in the world.

It does not matter how you are doing it, just keep doing it. Never stop doing it even if you don’t get the reward now, I bet it, you will definitely reap what you sow no matter how long it takes.

3. Always Forgive
Forgiveness comes from the heart not by the word of mouth, you can’t forgive by saying it alone with your mouth without 100% support and approval of your heart. Matthew 6:14-15Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 For if you forgive [a]others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others [nurturing your hurt and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God], then your Father will not forgive your trespasses.
Forgiving and forgetting shows maturity, not only that alone, it shows that one has the fear of God and whoever has the fear God has a sound mind.

4. Never Harm Anyone

Never have the mindset to harm anyone, even if the person hurt you so bad that you could ever imagined. Just don’t have the feeling of hurting the person back, just let it go and rather make peace with the person.
If the person realized his or her mistakes and yet do not apologize, it shows that you don’t have to be with that kind of a person, just forgive, forget and move on. You deserve the best.

5. Be Positive
Positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results.
A positive person anticipates happiness, health and success, and believes he or she can overcome any obstacle and difficulty.
Positive thinking is not accepted by everyone. Some, consider it as nonsense, and scoff at people who follow it, but there is a growing number of people, who accept positive thinking as a fact, and believe in its effectiveness. You are what you think you are, know in mind that as a man thinketh in heart so he is.

Be all you can be, but it's not always in the Army. I often see myself as somewhat contented with my life the way things are, but of course it's hard to think of anything else when where are real issues to be discussed.

Still I aspire for something deeper and more meaningful.

So we're all pelted with problems. Honestly it shouldn't even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks… or can they?
1. What do I really want?

The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.

Find something that you are good at can help realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.
2. Should I really change?

Today's generation has taken another level of redefining 'self', or at least that's what the kids are saying. Having an army of teenage nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle?

If history has taught us one thing, it's the life that we have gone through. Try to see if partying Seventies style wouldn't appeal to the younger generation, but dancing is part of partying. Watch them applaud after showing them how to really dance than break their bones in break-dancing.
3. What's the bright side in all of this?

With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny.
