Three Days After, Family Of Young Man Killed By Nigerian Army During IPOB “Sit-At-Home” Are Yet To Recover His Body

According to the friend of the deceased who was reached on telephone by our reporter, he said the family and friends of Late Nnamdi are still looking for his body after the incident that took place on Wednesday May 30th. It seems like the Nigerian Army took his body away and dumped it somewhere.


The residents of Chigbu Street, off Uratta junction by Port Harcourt road in Aba South local government area of Abia State had on Wednesday marked the 30th anniversary of the defunct Biafra Republic by declaring a sit-at-home day only for the army to kill one of their own whose corpse is no where to be found.

More than 12 migrants were shot dead by human traffickers last week while trying to escape a camp in Libya, where some were subjected to "torture abuse", the United Nations said on Friday.

The incident, previously reported by Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and local sources, occurred on May 23 in the town of Bani Walid, 170km southeast of Tripoli.

"Human traffickers in Libya reportedly killed more than a dozen people and wounded many others after a group of some 200 Eritreans, Ethiopians and Somalis, being held captive, attempted to escape," the UN refugee agency said in a statement, adding that those killed "were shot".


"The survivors spoke of torture abuse and exploitation at the hands of traffickers - some being held in captivity for up to three years," the statement added.

A local organisations called the Commission of Civil Society, which helps care for migrants in Bani Walid, has however denied reports that anyone was killed during the escape.

But in a May 27 statement, the group condemned "the inhuman treatment" of migrants.

Bani Walid is a transit point for migrants aiming to reach Europe by boat from the coast further north.

People traffickers and kidnappers run around 20 detention centres in the town, telephoning the migrants' families to deliver ransom demands.

Since the 2011 fall and killing of longtime dictator Moammar Gaddafi, Libya has become a key launchpad for migrants making desperate bids to reach Europe.

"This latest deadly incident demonstrates, once again, the huge challenge of providing protection to refugees in Libya, where many people fleeing war and persecution fall prey to criminal networks," UNHCR further said.

Controversial lawyer, Festus Keyamo who has hitherto kept mute on the incessant killings of unarmed people from the middle belt by the terrorist Fulani Herdsmen because of what he wanted from the APC led government.

Keyamo who claims to be a human rights lawyer has never for once spoken against the menace of Fulani Herdsmen which has taken the lives of over 3654 people who are mostly christians since Buhari took over power. The people that are been killed by the maurauders, don't they have the right to live?

President Buhari's government is characterised by flagrant disobedience to court orders, disregard for human rights, continuous witchhunting of political enemies and the gagging of the media which the constitution upholds.

What is expected from a man who "supported the abduction of his Urhobo sister, Ese Oruru from Ughelli by Yunusa Dahiru a northerner. Ese Oruru was 14 years old when she was abducted. She was raped, forcibly Islamized and married off without her parents consent. The conversion and marriage took place in the palace of the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.  Upon her release, it was discovered that she was five months pregnant with her kidnapper's child.

Well meaning Nigerians condemned Yunusa Dahiru's actions and called for his prosecution. Human rights lawyer, Ebun Adegboruwa, called the incident a "clear case of child trafficking" and "a worse form of corruption. When Festus Keyamo was asked about his take on the matter "He said it is a case of two adults and that they should marry them off" just because he needed an appointment from Buhari.

Yesterday was the Children National Day, President Buhari never made mention of Leah Sharibu in his speech who is still been held by Boko Haram because she refuses to denounce her christian faith. Is Leah Sharibu's case not an infringement to the fundamental human rights which Festus Keyamo claims to be defending?

Festus Keyamo is happy now because his sycophancy and praise-singing of Buhari has finally paid off. It is a known fact that he has been appointed as the official spokesperson for President Buhari's 2019 election campaign an appointment that is worth over N500 million naira and also President Buhari equally appointed him as member of the board of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC

The senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle (Prof) Johnson Suleman has yet again survived an attempt on his life. He made the revelation during the May 2018 miracle and fire night held at the headquarters church in Auchi, Edo State Nigeria.

According to the fiery preacher, he said after the Finland "Restoration and Supernatural Encounter Crusade he flew to Germany enroute Nigeria and while waiting for his connecting flight to Nigeria at the VIP lounge, he enquired from a lady at the customers desk if his flight is boarding and the lady told him that the flight isn't boarding. 

He said after a while, he walked up to the lady again to ask her if his flight is boarding and the lady told him that the flight is not boarding and that she will inform him when the gate for boarding is opened.

Nevertheless, After about 30 minutes, he asked the lady if the flight is boarding and the lady told him that it is not yet time. The man of God said he checked his time and it was already 11.30 am and he decided to go to the boarding gate to find out what is happening only for him to be told that the flight has departed. 

Apostle Johnson Suleman wasn't happy to hear that he missed his fight after getting to the airport two hours before departure. He called his wife to inform her about what happened and the wife told him that "For you to miss your flight, it is for a purpose"

Papa, as he is fondly called, said he tried to see if he could get another flight to Nigeria that friday but to no avail. 

However, he said on Sunday a security personnel came to his office and told him that they rounded up some boys who were busy confessing that on Friday they were waiting for him in a hiace buses along Benin Auchi Road, fully armed and their mission was to open fire on his car. 

God's oracle said he was moved to tears when the security personnel was talking and all he could do was to go on his kneels and thank God.

The man of God pointed out that an insider must have told the armed men his itinerary  and he concluded  by saying that "You See Me, I No Dey Fear. I don't get careful or get worried, I just stay connected"

You would recall that early this year, there was also an attempt on his life. Apostle Johnson Suleman has remained adamant to the christian course in Nigeria. He is a voice to the body of Christ in Nigeria and he is among the few preachers who speaks against the killings and persecution of christians in Nigeria.

Donald Trump must not block Twitter users from his social media account based on their political views, a judge in New York has ruled. The US President was told that blocking access to his Twitter account would be a violation of the right to free speech, district judge Naomi Reice said.

Mr Trump’s @RealDonaldTrumpplatform has become an integral and controversial part of his presidency that he uses to announce policy and verbally attack critics.



It was rule that comments on the US leader’s account, and those of other government officials, were public forums, and that blocking Twitter users for their views violated their right to free speech under the First Amendment of Constitution.

Eugene Volokh, a University of California Los Angeles School of Law professor who specialises in First Amendment issues, said the decision’s effect would reach beyond Mr Trump.

“It would end up applying to a wide range of government officials throughout the country,” he said.



The U.S. Department of Justice, which represents Mr Trump in the case, said: “We respectfully disagree with the court’s decision and are considering our next steps.”

Twitter Inc, which is not a party to the lawsuit, declined to comment on the ruling.

The ruling was in response to a First Amendment lawsuit filed against Mr Trump in July by the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University and several Twitter users.



The individual plaintiffs in the lawsuit include Philip Cohen, a sociology professor at the University of Maryland; Holly Figueroa, described in the complaint as a political organizer and songwriter in Washington state; and Brandon Neely, a Texas police officer.



Mr Cohen, who was blocked from Trump’s account last June after posting an image of the president with words “Corrupt Incompetent Authoritarian,” said he was “delighted” with Wednesday’s decision.

“This increases my faith in the system a little,” he said.

Novelists Stephen King and Anne Rice, comedian Rosie O’Donnell, model Chrissy Teigen, actress Marina Sirtis and the military veterans political action committee VoteVets.org are among the others who have said on Twitter that Mr Trump blocked them.

The judge rejected the argument by Justice Department lawyers that Trump’s own First Amendment rights allowed him to block people with whom he did not wish to interact.

“While we must recognise, and are sensitive to, the president’s personal First Amendment rights, he cannot exercise those rights in a way that infringes the corresponding First Amendment rights of those who have criticized him,” Buchwald said.

She said Mr Trump could “mute” users, meaning he would not see their tweets while they could still respond to his, without violating their free speech rights.

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunyolo who got freed from Port Harcourt Maximum prison early this year after spending three months set the internet on fire yesterday when she alleged that Linda Ikeji's pregnancy is a hoax and that she's wearing a prosthetic baby bump just to deceive Nigerians.

Her outburst came on the heels of numerous congratulatory messages which the multi-millionaire blogger had received from her coterie of friends who were happy to hear that she would soon become a mother.


You would recall that during when the self acclaimed investigative journalist was languishing in prison late last year over the defamation suit brought against her by Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries, Linda, despite the constant attacks and vilification from Madam Kemi Olunyolo, was the first celebrity to contribute money towards securing a legal service for her and the amount was her hard earned N100,000( One hundred thousand naira)
