It was in the reigning days of Afro hair style. I nurtured and secretly plaited my hair for a long time so i could barb it afro. The day came, i went to this particular barber at the street corner but he wasn't there. One other guy i met there told me he is his assistant and that i should settle down for my haircut. After hesistating for sometime i sat down and made it clear to him exactly what i wanted. A good Afro style and nothing less. He got into the act and before you know it the fool just gave me the most native, local, village hair cut i have ever seen. I was so angry and near tears. I just told him to now just barb me low cut(skin). I later learnt from the barber shop owner that i was the guys first haircut attempt and that he came to understudy him and appologized on behalf of the fool. angry
