FamilyRe: How Can I Handle This Issue With My Neighbour? by DickDastardly(m): 4:43pm On Feb 20, 2016
bigneorapz:
Errmm.. i'll be quick on this one. My fam rented an apartment some months ago. And since i wasn't around when my mum & my sisters parked in, there were some arrangements in the house that wasn't nicely done example, the wiring in the house wasn't done properly. Imagin the electrician sharing our generator wire connection with our neighbor. Well, i noticed all of this when i came back. And at first, i didn't really look into all of that cos i thought our neighbor who is a lady that could be around 27 years old was gonna be wise as well as act mature enough to know the right thing to do. The fact is whenever we power our Gen, she'll also be sharin our free light with us. I overlooked all of this thinkin maybe at a point she'll be helpin to fill the tank on her own without us tellin her. But months passed and she turned a blind eyes on us. What vex me most is the fact that she has stop greetin me, actin like i never exist whenever she pass by. And whenever i power the Gen, she'll lock herself inside and be enjoyin my sweat that i suffered to fill the tank sad
She has never for once ask me or my sisters how much we've been buyin the fuel talkless of givin them money to fill the tank. So i made up my mind yesterday to disconnect the Generator wire supplyin her light from our power socket. But before i do that, since am a carin and a soft hearted guy that hardly hurts people..i want to know if what am about to do is right... Or should i just let her keep enjoyin the free light?. Please your advice will go a long way..thanks
lgnore her and her folly. You'd bring yourself to her low world by doing that. Doing that will make her feel you have her time. Dont be that petty. Rather let your mom take such decision, but never you get into the picture unless you are the petty type.
But if you insist( and are still right), then expect all sorts of silly pranks and innuendos from her and hey, dont come back here with that episode cheesy

Nairaland GeneralWhy Dbanj And Don Jazzy Permanent Divorce Is Good For Their Music Business by DickDastardly(op): 1:16pm On Feb 20, 2016
Why are people always bugging this guys lives with ish all the time?
They once did music together, granted, does that now mean they are siamese twins?
For those of you who doesnt know, music is business. And in business you can only go for whats good for your business. l personally think that their combo died long ago and don jazzy/dbanj combo is no longer good for MAVIN and Dbanj music business.
Jazzy has his crew now and i bet dbanj should also roll with his crew.
Why is one of them behaving like a bad wife who lost out and earnestly yearn to be taken back.
No sentiments here pls, the ship of their combo sailed with the death of MOHITS!

Respect to them both!

Good Call!
Fulani herdsmen has been profiled as one of the most violent blood letters in the whole world and the biggest threat to Nigerian unity. All Buhari wants to do is reward them with a national grazing part. Instead of pictures of dead criminal fulani herdsmen from the army, all we see daily is shiite, ipob and other none violent Nigerians being decimated by buhari and buratai his attack dog with glee.

PoliticsOndo Farmers Reject Proposed Grazing Routes For Fulani Herdsmen by DickDastardly(op): 3:15pm On Feb 17, 2016
Farmers in Ondo State rose from a meeting on Tuesday to address the perennial conflict between farmers and Fulani herdsmen, concluding that
the planned grazing zones and grazing routes would not be feasible in the state.

In January, President Muhammadu Buhari said a plan to map out grazing areas would soon be presented to the Nigerian Governors Forum as a temporary solution to the frequent conflicts until cattle owners are persuaded to adopt other means of rearing.

But the Ondo farmers said in a communiqué that the planned grazing routes and zones were not practicable in the state as lands were not sufficiently available for such projects.

They also demanded federal government’s immediate payment of N2 billion compensation to victims of herdsmen in the area.

“The federal government should encourage and facilitate the option of feed lots, making hays and establishment of mega ranches in the North,” the communiqué read in part.

The farmers said that the nomadic herdsmen were entitled to a settled life as well.

The farmers held that the position had become necessary in view of the peculiarities of Ondo State as well as other South-West states that are all largely tree crop zones and in further consideration of the fact that the people were largely farmers.

“We cannot afford to be lukewarm to the havoc being wrecked on our people through wanton destruction of our farms, bush burning, rape, robbery and kidnapping (the recent one being that of the Chinese),” the communiqué read further.
They argued that it should no longer be accepted that the nomads would continue a life of wandering about in the jungle in the guise of keeping their culture.
“Culture is dynamic, it is not static and that the direct descendants of father Abraham/ Ibrahim which are directly the Jews and the Arabs respectively have modernized their husbandry and they are doing better.

“The culture of roaming about with animals serves no one’s interest, including that of the cattle, the herdsmen, the farmers and the nation.

“If our brothers up North are not ready to modernize their culture, it should be restricted to their geographical zone, since culture is geographically restricted as well,” it read.

The farmers therefore called on senators and representatives from Ondo State to press for reliefs for the plight of farmers in the state as a result of the activities of herdsmen.

CrimeFulani Herdsmen Kill Six In Benue by DickDastardly(op): 7:22pm On Feb 14, 2016
Six persons have been allegedly killed by some suspected Fulani herdsmen who attacked some villages in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State on Thursday.

An eyewitness who made a distress call to our correspondent around 12 midnight yesterday said the attackers started attempting to invade the communities since 2pm but met with stiff resistance.

Our source stated further that many persons were injured during the attack adding that villagers had deserted Okoklo, Ologba and other neighbouring villages following the attack.

Member representing Agatu State Constituency, Alhaji Sule Audu who lamented the incessant attacks on his people by suspected Fulani herdsmen called on the state and federal government to quickly wade into the matter with a view to finding a lasting solution to the problem.

When contacted, state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Moses Yamu disclosed that the state Police Command had already sent operatives to the area to ascertain the true situation of things so as not to just act on rumor.

“Yes, we heard something like that and we have sent some operatives to the area to see what is really happening because we don’t just want to be actin on the basis of rumor. I cannot say anything further until they come back.”

Our correspondent observed that incidence of Herders/farmers clashes is becoming rampant in the state, a development that is becoming worrisome even to the state government.

Recall that just early this week, the State Governor, Samuel Ortom at a security meeting held at the Government House directed security agencies to arrest those who are behind herders/ farmers clashes in the state.

CrimeWoman Vomits Cocaine At Abuja Airport by DickDastardly(op): 6:36pm On Feb 12, 2016
A 48- year-old mother of three children, Mrs. Saidat Bola Hassan, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, after she allegedly vomited 15 wraps of white powdery substances that tested positive for cocaine.

The incident occurred during screening of passengers on an Egypt Airline flight to Jedda, Saudi Arabia, en-route Cairo.

After she vomited the substances, the woman was apprehended by NDLEA officials who discovered that she had ingested 80 wraps of cocaine weighing 904 grammes.

The NDLEA commander at the airport, Mr. Hamisu Lawan, said efforts were made to protect her from any harm arising from drug ingestion.

“As soon as we discovered that the suspected wraps she vomited tested positive for cocaine, we took measures to ensure her safety by preventing any harm that may result from drug ingestion. While under observation, she excreted 65 similar wraps. In all, she ingested 80 wraps of cocaine weighing 904 grammes. Her case is under investigation,” Hamisu stated.
