The BOT model may work well in Nigeria to replace need u o borrow a bunch of cash for infrastructure. Projects like ports, power, airports and rail are suited for it from examples. One disadvantage I read for bot model is the currency risk on the side of the investor. The examples in Asia show the concessions usually last 2 or 3 decades. The Anambra airport is supposed to be using this model as said by Obiano.

The big steps Buhari has to do get agreements read and ratified by NASS. If they want more slots in Nigeria he could discuss it FAAN. If they're interested in an airport concession why not Lagos? It's busier than Abuja.

The issue is that all 3 States had tallest Christmas tree at one time or the other and they must have cost same amount and served same purpose but while that of Lagos and Crossriver were celebrated, that of Imo was turned into an issue using the media.
