PAGAN 9JA:no man, i heard from my fellow brothers that the bible is about the hebrews not the jews. Jews donot equal Hebrews. If I remember correctly the original Hebrews come from Egypt aka Khemet [which according to legend, Egypt was a colony of Nubia not the other way around.] So I'm basing this that the bible is really the Egyptian religion re-packaged since in the bible itself it quotes Moses being raised as Egyptian royalty with governing authority. If I am wrong feel free to correct me. |
What is your views on Marijuana? I personally love it even though I donot toke anymore, but I do see many major benefits from it's use both medically and recreationally. It has personally helped me with my battle with depression and flowing with creative energies. Although I donot recommend it always as for everyday use, but it does alleviate symptoms of pain including headaches and nausea. Though many people say weed hinders your memory and coordination, I find that to be the exact opposite. It always allowed me to process my thinking easier and slows down my thought process enough to retain information better. I do alot of studying while high. But. . . what is your thoughts on this? If you have anything to contribute, let me know. |
To quote Fredo Santana "Now that's a scary site" bang bang LOL |
i like boobs sue me |
why is everything outside of christianity called paganism? ![]() silly white people trying to demonize everythingIt's funny, white people worship a black god from a tribe of black people, mixed it with their own paganism and subjugated darker skinned people to their religion thru oppression, and turn to find out the bible is written about them LMAOIRONY LULZ |
Can someone put me on some hot hip-hop! I currently listen to some Tanzania rap which is pretty good. But I want to see what's poppin on the west coast? What's some good hip hop and rap music out in Nigeria? |
don't be mad at chris brown for not knowing the complete origin of the dance moves. Many african brothers in america are not well connected to their african roots we only have a few remnants of whats left, and unfortunately by africans in the new world force to adapt to white culture for so many years even though we added a "African-ness" into theirs we have yet to embrace the roots themselves. alot of times smart africans get called nerds or hippies for wishing to go back to the root even though chris brown may not know the exact origin of the azonto dance, but atleast he is acknowledging a piece of motherland heritage to american pop culture. |
it's really a matter of circumstance Yes, sex should wait till after marriage but what people don't realize is sex is marriage. That's if the two people are really in-love. But lust, there is no marriage or sacred bonding. Lust is purely satisfaction, there may be a spark of love there in the intimate moment but no deeper feelings resonate [atleast for men most of the time] It's hard to distinguish the two because our emotions can easily get muddled between love and lust. So my advice to young people is, before you decide to jump to have sex is to wait and take your time, harvest the fruits in the seed you grow in your relationships with those you cherish. Yes they maybe the opposite sex but if you truly love them, then sex is unimportant even though it is recommended for maintaining a balanced relationship. Don't let sex be the final determining factor for your true love, if it happens it happens. It is better to love the person you are with for who they are than superficial means such as sex. |
what if every1 in the world had a ak-47? interesting. . . |
if someone would like a educated answer let me explain God is outside of heaven and earth as well as a part of it. He is beyond the universe. Before there was light there was only darkness Hope that answers your questions |
Well fortunate thing is Nairaland is a great start. It may not get proficient since many people choose english as the forum's lingua franca. But in small doses I might pick up some things since there are Nigerians from all over the regions on here I believe. I want to coomunicate and make many friends. |
Fulaman, you are correct. Without everyday environment being fully immersed, my language speaking skills will be limited. But I donot have money to travel atm. So why inhibit and put a block? Isn't a natural human need to communicate? English is boring to a everyday english speaker |
Yes please! I appreciate this HIGHLY. I'm going to write these down as we go bigfrancis21: I could teach you Igbo. |
SHOW ME LOVE! I KNOW YOU LOVE IT! |
safarigirl: I assume this is an apology, if yes, apology accepted. You should watch what you say here cuz it's easily misinterpreted. On your question, dating here is done a little differently and sorry but your accent may leave you at a disadvantage, people will view you in 2 ways: a former(pretender) or a mugu(gullible person). Better the former than the latter. Generally, if you get lucky, you may find someone who sees you for you, it's just a matter of sorting the rice from the chaff, you'll get as lucky as the ajegbos (rich kids). PS. Don't go about telling people you're American to avoid trouble. Good luckI truly thank you. I need all the luck I can get. |
It is a very intriguing religion, yet a little mysterious. I have been doing research on it and it's various offspring of it. Now I want to learn the religion and get more in-depth. Is it possible that I may have to under-go initiation? Anybody on here can give me more resources into my studies or possible insights? Also does anyone know what JuJu is? Is it related to the Yoruba religion? Or is it's own thing? It would be highly appreciated. Thank You |
I only mentioned being American as a way to introduce myself and I was wrong for the way that I have introduced myself in. I wasn't trying to offend anyone. I was really only wanting to learn about dating customs, NOT GETTING LAID. Sex is irrelevant, that too does not make me a man. I am actually looking for developing a genuine connection, but all you guys see was "OH I AM A STUPID EGOTISTICAL AMERICAN IM BETTER THAN U" and all start attacking me! I don't care about nun of that stuff, I just mentioned the money thing so that way I don't have people talk to me for the wrong reasons. Is genuine friendship too much to ask? |
Fulaman198: To learn a language you must live amongst a group of people who speak and converse in that language. Otherwise you can't truly learn it.I agree with you to the fullest. But maybe in the meantime since this is Nairaland. Maybe a fellow Naijin wouldn't mind teaching me? |
WOAH! Plz no hate! I meant no offense to anybody here! I didn't mean to sound mighty mighty, I am far from that. I don't need a ego, I don't care about sex. I was really genuinely asking for genuine advice, to learn. Why do u all accuse me of such things? I am sorry once again. |
Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa. Any of them, All of them if any. I really am interested in learning a West African language. I currently am learning Kiswahili a east african language, though I am not fluent but it is a great fundamental language! ![]() Anybody give me a reply back if they are interested in teaching me. Thank You! Asante sana! |
race does not equate intelligence. Never When oppression suppresses the mind, the spirit still shines. |
I move alot in my sleep, I might start in one position and totally end up totally different one when I wake up. LOL So I say somewhat all of them |
She is as equally shameful for exposing her sister openly than to deal with it. They are all in the wrong! People should handle things more maturely |
Hi, I'm new here. I'm a American but one day wishes to reconnect with the roots in Africa, travelling all over. In my future adventure, I wish to know what would be some tips about dating in Nigeria compared to america incase I ever find my beautiful african queen along the way. ![]() I do know that not every women is the same, it is always good to build a genuine connection with people whether individually or on a whole. But in the mean-time, I just wonder what are some of the dating customs including the dos and do-nots? Also I am glad to be here, I hope to learn alot and make plenty of friends! P.S. NO GOLD DIGGING! Money has never made me the person I am and if you want to talk to me because I am American thinking I am loaded with money PLZ KEEP AWAY! LOL |
