Finally finally! Congratulations Bro! Pojomojo: Debbie, Great work! Got a job, mouthwatering job, although not six figures but benefits are super tight.
These are my words for job-seekers out there Don't fucking GIVE UP!!!!!!!! Hang in there.
I was laid off early last, no job, no food, no internet to even apply for jobs, no money, friends laughed at me, still I never relented, Landlord kicked me out, slept on the streets, in the cold, didnt no when the next food will come, started a small business, Lagos street environmental task force seized my items, jumped on bricklaying jobs-doesnt come often, went hungry for days, I felt I was cursed, prayed, retweeked my CV tire, fasted both dry and wet no result, visited curches-no help but financial and spritually,
I was invited for countless interviews, rejected by many, failed many, many didn't get back. I contemplated committing suicide, stealing or yahoo.
It wasn't easy! I thank GOD.
It will end in praise. Sure it did. |
Crime › Heir To Samsung Group Sentenced To Five Years Imprisonment (photos) by DifferentCase(op): 8:36am On Aug 26, 2017 |
Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong (R) arrives for a trial at the Seoul Central District Court in Seoul, South Korea, on Aug. 7, 2017. South Korean prosecutors on Monday sought 12 years in prison for Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong, an heir apparent of Samsung Group, the country's biggest family-run conglomerate, on bribery charges. (Xinhua/Lee sang-ho) SEOUL, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- A South Korean court on Friday sentenced Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong, an heir apparent of Samsung Group, the country's biggest family-run conglomerate, to five years in prison. Lee was found guilty of five crimes, including bribery, embezzlement, concealment of criminal proceeds, illegal asset transfer to overseas and perjury. The Seoul Central District Court acknowledged all of the five charges levied by special prosecutors, who demanded a 12-year jail term earlier this month. Two former Samsung executives were jailed for four years and arrested inside the courtroom immediately after the verdict was handed down. Two other former executives were sentenced to three and two-and-a-half years in suspended jail terms respectively. The court ruled that the de-facto Samsung chief bribed impeached former President Park Geun-hye, who is now in custody and standing trial for the corruption scandal bringing her impeachment, in anticipation for favors in power transfer from his ailing father Lee Kun-hee, chairman of Samsung Electronics. The younger Lee has controlled the country's biggest corporate empire since his father was hospitalized for heart attack more than three years ago. The ruling said the case was about an immoral link between political and business powers, describing the ongoing cozy ties between politicians and businessmen as "shocking."

Education › This Is How It Should Be! by DifferentCase(op): 2:19pm On Aug 06, 2017 |
THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE!
I was on my way to the chapel for the Covenant hour of prayers yesterday at about 5:20am, when I saw from afar, on a street leading into the estates, sparkles emanating from a live cable that got severed and dropping across the footpath sprawling on a substantial part of the motorway!
In fact, approaching this tool of disaster, I could only imagine what this would cause if ignored just like others did! But to my utmost surprise the ever busy 'Lagosians' that came through this thing simply muttered some inaudible words to themselves and took a bend! But I couldn't same (I am a Social Interventionist)!
While I took a safety position there, I combined directing vehicular traffic, early morning joggers and other passersby on the danger lurking in the dark, soon enough, I had other two men onboard for the rescue while I beckoned on Magnus Chukwueloke Edward my brother in Christ who was already in church at this time, to help with an electricity bill note, wherein I can get a rescue helpline. But alas! He even got one of the manager's number stored.
Special thanks to the lady-manager (don't know her name) from the Gowon-estates IKEDC office who picked up calls as early as that morning, I spoke with her, she inquired where I was calling from and street name was given. In lessthan 10mins, electricity in that whole area was withheld, I became restful atlast.
In follow up on this, at about 10am same morning, engineers from IKEDC were mobilized to the faulty cable and got it fixed.
Kudos to this company, this is how it should be! It can only get better!
Alexander Oloriegbe Lagos.

Exactly! Deetus is on point here. Sorry for the denial, my sister had same dilemma until I advised her, and in less than 6months, the hubby went to meet her. And I would have also loved you reduce that your 'big aunty' in abroad story as that gives so much emphasis that you too intends abiding there permanently. My 2cents. DeeTus: Sorry for these denials. Obviously, your response to questions were incoherently. Second, you sounded so desperate. Third, having a relative or relatives in America is a great advantage but you talked as if you've made a lot of plans to stay in the States permanently.
Furthermore, from the information you supplied so far, I would advice that you either go first or your husband drop or your husband goes, you drop to go later, after getting the visa, because If both of you go for another interview at the same time, you are likely to be denied again. |

You said it all jareeee! No be prayer point wey carry person go MFM them dey pray on top of bed naaaaa? Specifically, my Bible emphasized it thus;... "THIS KIND WILL NOT GO EXCEPT BY..... femi321: All these back and forth argument/discussion about God and prayer. If you believe God, keep praying to him and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. If you don't, good for you. Most people in the western world don't even believe in God nor do they have any personal relationship with him. Yet, they live a good life, drive the best cars and have good jobs because things are working in there country. Unlike Nigeria where things don't really work and you have to pray your ass to get everything. In summary, God is real and prayer works. |
