Please i need the email addresses.including the customer care emails
lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca
info.cannig@vfshelpline.com
‭0815 019 9900‬

The first email is the one that’ll actually help. The second is just to get fast replies cause they can’t do much. They’ll still tell you to send an email the first email address.

I also called the customer care line

I just wanted to put this out there cause I so a couple of people suggesting sending them an email if your application is taking longer than usual.

I did that and two days after they sent me a correspondence letter. I called their customer care line, sent a message to Lagos.immigration (I don’t remember the rest but I can find the email if anyone needs it) and their customer care email as well. I had submitted my passport in over a month and I hadn’t heard anything from them. Less than 48 hours after sending the mail, they sent me a correspondence letter so go for it guys. It’ll all end in praise

There are various ways of receiving money from home to canada
First you can open a dorm account
Secondly your people in Nigeria can send money to you through BTA or PTA method in any bank here in Nigeria
Thirdly you can receive money from Nigeria bank to flywire (very fast)
Lastly you can receive money via crypto Bitcoin or PayPal or even bureau the change, western union, moneygram, Ria etc
Or rather you can pm those that are already in Canada and ask them cause there are many ways of receiving money
Thank you. You’ve been very helpful

So this is my question... does anyone know how Nigerian students in Canada receive money?

Thanks guys

Paper or online route?
Mine is a little over 22 weeks but I was asked to submit my passport and I did that on September 21/22. I can’t remember. But it was on a Friday. Online application btw. Cause I had been going to VFS for over two weeks and their server was down. They’ll give me a new appointment date, and that’s when rain will disturb their server again so I did it online

It means you have between when your got the letter to 17/07/2020 to travel to Canada to obtain your study permit. Meaning your Visa(for travelling) has a validity of two years. Your study permit will count from when it is issued at the point of entry in Canada.
Ohh thank you. I was already shaking like a jelly fish. Phew!
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Diijah: 4:11pm On Nov 07, 2018

Please I need urgent reply from the Gurus. I have exceeded my school resumption deadline but I still haven’t heard from CIC as my profile is stil reviewing my background and eligibility status. My question is can my study permit still be approved even if I have passed deadline of resumption cos my school emailed me I have to reapply next fall as it’s against their policy to defer twice
Yeah it might be possible. My school resumed on the 4th and late resumption was 10th. I only just got a passport request from the embassy a couple of days ago. I think on the 19th. Although I only had to differ till winter next year.

I think they have stopped refusal stamp since database engines gained popularity. I think at a time Nigerians had to protest because it was like a stigma. If you don't give me visa, please do not deface my passport in a manner that may affect the decision of another Country's VO adversely. As numerous visa's in passport could affect the thinking of a VO positively, several refusal stamps could also tempt a VO to decide an application negatively.
I didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing

So if we tell you that the request is to enable them "to put refusal stamp " ( that's a new one!) grin.. You'll run away with your passport? Congrats again. Please don't teach IRCC a bad thing like refusal stamp oh.

You just got the mail?
The refusal stamp is a thing though. My friend got it on her uk visa sometime back. This is my first time applying to Canada so I don’t know how it works

Uk visa I meant when she applied for a uk visa. This tension is real though

I applied for a study visa in May and I got a request to submit my passport to VFS. Does that mean I’m getting the visa? I’m a little nervous cause I don’t know if they can request for my passport to put a refusal stamp.

Hi guys! I was thinking yesterday about what it really takes to start a clothing line. So I did my research but there was hardly anything relating to nigeria, if you get what I mean. No manufacturers or whatever embarassed So if there's anyone that has ideas about how to go about it in Nigeria... any pointers. Anything will be helpful and appreciated . Thanks guys! smiley

Nigerian Tailors & Disappointment: Work Hazard Or Laziness?

Since I was born, now I'm getting old, I've never given a local fashion designer (tailor) a material and had the clothing delivered on time without one or two stories. What's your experience with them? Is it the nature of the work or are most of them lazy?
I'm still asking myself the same question
FashionRe: Let's Sew For Fun (**valisimo Fashion School Online Classroom**) by Diijah: 1:08am On Nov 15, 2014
Now out of the 24 I am going to mark out 9 inches at the center of the 24.this process will be done at the knee and at the waist.next I link them together knee and waist

That's what the above diagram is depicting.

I still don't get that part. Please I'll really appreciate it if someone sheds some light on it. Thanks in advance.

My roommate told me about this and I absolutely love her for that because this has been really helpful. I have a sewing machine but I have to wait till I'm home before I start to practice all this but I'm taking notes
@kemmy06 about adding the BBM channel you can't add it like a regular bb pin. Lol I had to go on google to actually find out out to do it. What to do is.. I suck at explaining this so I'll just post the link that helped me know how to add it.
