Achebe is a bad ass writer! All his works are classical, but Arrow of God is one novel I have read more than 40x and can't just understand why Achebe chose to destroy Ezeulu's character in the end. Why would a child's palm be scalded by a piece of yam given to him by his elders(in this case gods)?

I understand he has a penchant for tragedy, but Ezeulu does not deserve that from Achebe grin

. If it could be argued that the man put his interest in the fight between the gods and elders of Umuaro led by Nwaka, why then did the gods start the fight in the first instance...?

I forgot we are talking about an Achebe, a master , who hurriedly explained it away with the parable of the Lizard who ruined his mother's funeral with his own hands. Ulu became an overzealous and over jealous god, who ended up self destroying alongside his priest.

A man raped you 10 years ago, he was penalized by being prisoned, you got justice, and he's now out of prison, yet you had to upload a video of people worshiping in a church on social media because you spotted your rapist in their midst.

As far as I'm concerned, you are just hiding under he shield of 'Rape' to seek attention and garner sympathy from people on social media by tarnishing the image of the church and all the fellows in that video.

You got justice, so kindly move on and stop telling the world that you'v being raped before, some ladies didn't even get justice after being raped, rather they got critics.

To think that people liked this post shows our level of depravity. Do you know the trauma that goes with rape? Have you counselled a rape victim before?

The only kind of people that survive this kind of sickness in Nigeria are the Buharis, GEJs, Objs, Sarakis, IBBs, Abachas and all the the other treasury looters and Pastor's who also rob scientifically.

The rest of the populace cannot survive this because of lack of adequate healthcare. Their only consolation is to pray and anoint themselves with holy water and oil. They die and believe it is God's will.

These people are shivering badly. It has become a Game of Thrones for all of them. Hook on to what will guarantee your safety. At the end of it all, Tinubu wI'll be the loser. Why? Because he doesn't know when to fight and when to observe a truce. He must have his way or heavens will fall.

They will either return Oyegun to office or bring another chairman, that is not loyal to Tinubu, and give all the Governors free hand to make their candidates state chairman in their different states. That will guarantee their not rocking the boat till after elections.

For your information, the Hembe guy has uncountable number of electrification, health, educational and road project scattered all over our constituency to his credit, l mean he personally bankrolled their execution. This explains why he is the only politician to have been elected thrice to the highly coveted position in recent times in our state. l know you were easily carried away by his young age. Don't be deceived, he may look guyish but is highly responsible and level headed at the same time.
