Do you have the driver's side Mirror for 2006 Vw Transporter Aka T5 ? LHD |
I think Primary school is way too early.I clearly remember that we had this in secondary school btw (1991-93, JOGS) & it had its own consequences. People who were thought to be natural leaders lost out to popularity contests. I remember a particular year when a tough guy we all thought was ideal for labour prefect lost at the polls because his opponent was a jovial bow-legged guy , who all considered to be malleable. Eventually the school had to annul the election results & impose prefects from the contestants From following year, you will pick a nomination form & the teachers do the voting |
The guy is not preparing his wife for the show. Call her during the day to say hi, say some sweet nothings, give her a hug when she comes back, complement her & your night will be guaranteed. You need to prepare a woman all day for action, especially if you've been married for a couple of years & career issues are there. Make sure you psyche her enough to make her willing & looking forward to you. Motivation for men & women vary.. ..In Gordon's voice..men are moved by sight...women by words |

@kenmaro, Batteries are rated in Amp-hours Ah,most car batteries come as 12v. You also need to check the production / expiry date on your battery relative to purchase date. Make sure u check owner's manual before purchase for appropriate rating for your car. Should u need to park your car for days, u can disconnect the battery terminals to prevent drain due to internal electronics happy motoring |
Just ran diagnostics and was able to clear the airbag lights but couldn't communicate with the ABS While awaiting your kind response, accept assurances of my kind & sincere regards |
Hi Siena, the 1.8T in the previous thread was an error its a 20V 1.8 ADR alright I have a 99 vw passat 1.8 20V ADR MT. Got it used from Germany in 2010 @ 83km been used by My wife. Have been driving like a dream till I had this sudden overheating issue which managed to clear after replacing the radiator caps. I was quite careful about oil spec and used Mobil 1 but noticed that it got dried up after a short interval. Later changed to Mobil 20w50 xhp and was fairly ok though not like the initial machine. I later got Total's 15w50 made to vw 500 & performance improved I've been battling with hard starts in the morning & had 'injector' plug cables changed as they were accused of loss of contact; situation became better but hard cold starts persist Was recently out of town when I had a distress call from my wife that the there's some noise from the rear wheels and asked her to have it checked: the workshop said they had to grease the hub bearings & all noise stopped After about 1 week of this bearing issue, I've been confronted with a permanent Airbag light on the dash; it beeps 3times and keeps blinking (!) after driving for about 10mins and it comes with ABS lights. Could you be kind enough to decipher these issues & what they may be pointing as its just done about 15000km with me and its performance and handling has been better than all my previous cars including some brand new japanese official cars. Do I need a VAG.com diagnostic or just anyone will do? Thanx a bunch |
Sorry for derailing the thread but this looks like one of those rare moments I wont allow to pass without tapping from the inhouse VAG Guru. I have a 99 vw passat 1.8T 20V ADR MT. My personal preference is the 'Evil Genius of Highlife', Dr Victor Abimbola Olaiya http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Olaiya Victor Olaiya From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Victor Abimbola Olaiya, or 'Dr Victor Olaiya', is a Nigerian trumpeter who plays in the Highlife style. He was possibly the biggest star in Nigeria in the 1950s and early 1960s, but received little recognition outside of Nigeria. Alhaji Alade Odunewu of the Daily Times admiringly styled him "The Evil Genius of Highlife."[1] Contents [hide] 1 Life 2 Music 3 Discography 4 External links 5 References [edit] Life Olaiya was born on 31 December 1931, in Calabar, Cross River State, the 20th child of a family of 24. His parents, Alfred Omolona Olaiya and Bathsheba Owolabi Motajo came from Ijesha-Ishu in Ekiti State.[2] Contrary to popular belief, Olaiya came from a very rich family. His father's house called Olaiya is still standing today at Tinubu square in Lagos and still owned by the Olaiya family.[citation needed] At an early age he learned to play the Bombardon and the French Horn. After leaving school he moved to Lagos where he passed the school certificate examination in 1951 and was accepted by Howard University, USA to study Civil engineering. Instead he started a career as a musician, a move of which his parents disapproved. He played with the Sammy Akpabot band, the Old Lagos City Orchestra (a dance band) and the Bobby Benson Jam Session Orchestra, where he was leader and trumpeter of the second band.[2][3] In 1954 he left Bobby Benson to form his own band, the Cool Cats, playing popular highlife music. His band was chosen to play at the state ball when Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom visited Nigeria in 1956, and later to play at the state balls when Nigeria became independent in 1960 and when Nigeria became a republic in 1963. On that occasion, he shared the stage with the famous American jazz player Louis Armstrong. During the Nigerian Civil War of 1967-1970, Olaiya was given the rank of a lieutenant colonel (honorary) in the Nigerian Army when his band played for the troops at various locations. His band later traveled to the Congo to perform for United Nations troops. He led his band, renamed to the All Stars Band, to the 1963 International Jazz Festival in Prague, Czechoslovakia.[2] In addition to his successful career as a musician, Olaiya ran a business that imported and distributed musical instruments and accessories throughout West Africa, and also established the Stadium Hotel in Surulere.[3] In 1990, Olaiya received a fellowship of the Institute of Administrative Management of Nigeria. For a period, he was president of the Nigerian Union of Musicians.[2] [edit] Music Olaiya's music bridges between Ghanaian highlife and what would become Afrobeat. His musical style was influenced by James Brown, with horn parts harmonized in Brown's style, as opposed to the mostly unison lines of Afrobeat. The music includes the swinging percussion of Tony Allen, but not the syncopated style that Allen later pioneered.[4] His music is infectious, typifying highlife music, played with great energy. The unique style of some of his recordings is inimitable.[5] He played with highlife artist E. T. Mensah of Ghana, and released a best-selling joint album with Mensah.[2] Both the drummer Tony Allen and vocalist Fela Kuti played with Olaiya and went on to achieve individual success.[4][6] Kola Ogunkoya played in the All Stars Band from 1986 to 1987 and went on to have a highly successful career with his own Afrobeat band.[7] [edit] Discography A partial list of albums:[8] Date Group Album Format Label Late 1950s/Early 1960s Victor Olaiya & his Cool Cats Odale Ore b/w Mofe Muyon 10" 78 Badejo's Sound Studios BBA 150 1960s? What u described as psychology is the OPQ- occupational personality questionnaire. I remember you fill a questionnaire about work situations & your reaction; something most like u or least like. After this u get to see a psychologist who asks you normal interview questions and tries to correlate |
Bros You go try upload the interior pics, leave your contacts and lets know how to arrange for inspection |
The whole hullabaloo about FG reversing the PTI Upgrade should be blamed on the irresponsible journalism of VANGUARD Newspapers!!! I have my facts and can confidently confirm the following from a position of knowledge and involvement: 1. PTI Upgrade was meant to improve the infrastructure and capacity of PTI Effurun to perform their core duty of training middle level manpower & to stem the tide of expatriate technicians in the oil industry while the youths of the Niger Delta are jobless 2. The Program of action approved by OBJ for PTI was not meant to turn PTI to a University 3. There exists a Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), in Effurun that was approved by OBJ during the twilight of his tenure & that currently has a take-off site at the PTI conference centre 4. PTI is an institution under the Ministry of Petroleum resources as such they have NUPENG & PENGASSAN while FUPRE is a University under the ministry of Education with ASUU & NASU It is because the Vanguard reporters were out to make mischief & the Minister too is not 'informed' that the 'interview' took the dimension it took; if you are in doubt contact anybody in PTI |

Boy In my days, JAMB was d true test of ability. The exam is quite different from WAEC/ NECO because they are based on 'normed' grades. This means your grades in those exams depend on general performance. Those exams are also just a test of your rudimentary knowledge of topics Now to JAMB 1. Make sure you get a syllabus to know what you are required to know in each subject 2. Make sure you understand the difference between similar things eg Cartillage, muscles because they dont just test whether you have an idea but if you know the difference between pretty similar things 3. For calculation based subjects, JAMB options are actually based on misconceptions ie if you dont understand well, your wrong answer will also be available 4. Get as many past questions as possible. When you practice make sure you confirm your answers from reputable textbooks and not 'Hungry authors' with wuruwuru answers 5. Work on your speed and accuracy because its a test of both, thers's no point knowing all the answers but not being able to finish 6. You must attempt the simple questions first 7. With your familiarity with past questions, you will discover the areas where questions usually come from & you can quickly pick on your areas of strength first 8. Try to sleep early the day before the exam so that you can wake up fresh ABOVE ALL, PRAY HARD!!! YOU NEED GOD 2 crown your efforts with success |
